what to do after a chemical pregnancy...

Post by littlebear »

Hi everyone and ghost,

i need advice. i would like to know if it is really necessary to wait 2 months before going through another transfer after a chemical pregnancy. does the body really need to get the meds out or can i jump in right after a chemical pregnancy/BFN? i am mentally prepared to jump right in but i hear/read all these things about giving the body a rest. is this true? are there proven studies? what have your drs advised on this?

me - 33, DH - 34 - unexplained

IVF #1 - chemical pregnancy
FET - BFN
FET - BFN
IVF #2 - BFN
FET 11/29/2006- chemical pregnancy

I don't know. I'll try to ask the RE tomorrow.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

My RE does not recommend a "break" she wants to use the natural boost in fertility that often happens after a MC or chemical. Hope that helps good luck!

I got my chemical results Aug 25th and bled around the 28th. I did my FET on October 17th. That was just the time it took to set everything up again and get the BCP's going and the week when the RE does procedures. So really, I didn't take time off. My FET resulted in a BFP!
Good luck and sorry for your loss.

My clinic does not require a cycle in between, but patients often take a little time for emotional reasons..
