Hello
Here I am - back from a marathon trip leaving yesterday morning at 4am and gettting back at 7pm - oh well - just about made it. Lovely hols in north cyprus and what fabbie weather - managed to bake me and the twins - yippee so now have a large brown tummy and look like a malteser on legs! It was hard going at times and could not have left it much longer on a 6 hour flight - I kept getting asked how pg I was and they disbelieving looks until I said it was twins - but get better service on the plane though!
As for Nikola - well she is in my bad books as told her to keep her legs crossed - never does what I tell her!
Hope you are all well and will try and catch up on all the posts but have washing - all my business messages, nik's ones and god knows what to do

in spirit - wonderful - how helpful of you!
Motivation - now there is the big question - I am still quite new to it as have only set up on my own 2 mnths ago and still a novelt - tea and biscuits - taking the dog out, washing and house work - watching tv............ just try and take some hours out and concentrate on work only and then reward yourself - this site does not help!

Tell me honestly how bad was it in the heat and the plane i will be 26wks pg when i fly and i am now starting to dread it as i am really suffering from the heat the now and it is only 11 degrees most days.
Did you manage with the food ok or did you really have to watch what you ate.

I.V.F started in 2001. 1st cycle +ve mc nov 2001 at 12 weeks. Fet mar 2002 +ve then -ve.
2nd cycle +ve eptopic oct 2002 6 weeks.
fet mar 2003 -ve. 3rd cycle over stimulated embies frozen. Fet nov 2003 +ve due 11/8/04.

Wibbs - I know what is she like!!! I have not spoken to her as only back last night but texts etc - will try and get to see her - she was not good as lost loads of blood and trying to fight off a transfusion on saturday so have not heard since. Will be in hospital a while I guess. Will keep you posted. As for me like to keep busy and then don't worry if they don;t move for a day! They have very quiet days!
Helen - well the flight going out was fine - wouldn't fancy too much longer - 6 hours and felt it! But nothing you can't manage - I took some flight socks in a bag and my slippers - sad I know and a bottle of water. Get an aisle seat (no windows - sad hey!) as you can stretch your legs more and near a toilet - I was near the front - 6 rows back as not all and sundry traipses past you for the back toilets. I also took my bump cushion for my back - it was ok really - kept drinking loads and then going to the loo!
As for the heat - it was 35! the first few days - yikes - I love the sun and was basking in it - at first I might boil them like a boil in the bag but they were fine - I had a tankini which I pulled up to maximise the rays but then I have olive skin I suppose. Kept pulling it down on day one but they seemed fine. It can get to some though so take it easy and plenty of cream! As for the food - try not to worry as will make you worse - obviously I was careful - but then the meze arrived with some lovely little lambs liver so ate some and I had prawns and loads of salad that I don't suppose was washed in mineral water and some cheese - completely clueless if it was pasteurised - oh and some yoghurt but did not say pasteurised. Try and be careful but don't worry. I was 23 weeks when I flew back and it felt worse than going - mind you it always does doesn't it - my back ached and I had had enough.
You will be fine and have a lovely time - the relaxation will do you more good than any harm from travelling or eating

Thankyou, you have reasurred me. The only thing i am really dreading is the flight as i am usually rather drunk on the way out as i am not a great flyer. Our flight is 4-5 hours and i always have an ailse seat anyway as i go to the toilet alot anyway. I have also bought a tankini for my aqua natal and i thought it would be good for the hols, don,t know if i will be pulling it up though as i have horrible purple stretch marks and my belly burns easy anyway. Going shopping next week to get some cheap summer tops.

You will be fine - I have been lucky with the stetch marks. Do you have a George near you - they do some fabby packs of tshirts for £6 or £8 can't remember for two - not your FCUK of course but fine for hollies and some lovely linen trousers in white and black I think for £10 - otherwise get some lovely large tshirts from H&M or something - no point in spending much. Just drink all the time - I did and lather on the factor 25 if your burn easily. I used ASDA one for the first time (8 but I tan easily) and it is cheap and good.
WEll that is me exhausted with good advice.
