Antibiotics for my DH?

My RE put me and my DH on Antibiotics for 10 days. I understand that I should take them after my HSG to prevent infections, but why does my DH need to be on them? My stims won't start till March 13th and my DH last SA will be on Jan. 5th. Does anyone have insight to this?

So there was a potential for any infection that I may have gotten from my procedure to infect him too? Well that's interesting. Thanks for letting me know.

just the opposite, in case he has some sort of infection, to keep you safe.
that is the way it was explained to me.
