Post by babyluv123 »

Hi

I am to start my 3rd cycle of IVF ICSI soon and just got my blood reports.

Here it is

FSH: 6.17 (day2)
LH: 1.52
Prolactin: 7.30
TSH: 3.91
T3: 2.86
T4:1.01

Also i m awaiting my AMH report. But what has given me stress is my sugar report.

it reads as 130.7 fasting and 217.9 post lunch (2hrs)

Ghost please tell me its ok to go ahead with IVF. Does these sugar numbers suggest that i have DIABETES???

I m stressed to death. For God's sake, I am just 26. HELPPP!!

I've long suspected elevated blood sugar does correspond with increased risk of IVF failure, but I believe I've only ever seen one report that agreed with that. In the IVF literature, you can find at least one report that says almost anything, along with the contrary. In other words, that is not much evidence to go on, but I am still suspicious. If it is an effect, it's probably not a big effect. However, some clinics use steroids to try to increase implantation. These raise serum glucose levels considerably and might enhance the effect. Just maybe. So if your physician prescribes steroids, you might ask your physician if steroids really are a good idea for you, given your blood sugar level.

As for diabetes, I am not at all qualified to say.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
