Worried FRER very light at 40dpo/7w5d. Help! Ghost/Anyone

Post by aimee613 »

I am really mad at myself for POAS today. I had one FRER left and thought it would be nice to see one more nice dark line, but NO the line was hardly there!! The last test I took was two weeks ago at 25dpo and the line was much darker than the test line. I assumed that today's would be as dark or even darker since I am further along. We saw the heartbeat 10 days ago at 6w2d and everything looked fine. My beta at 13dpo was 148 and at 15dpo was 422. I am so mad at myself for doing this. Does this mean that I miscarried. I don't have any symptoms of miscarriage... no spotting or cramping. Should I call my doctor... Help!!!

This is not that alarming. HPTs are not that reliable and you are trying to use it quantitatively, which it was never designed for.

The ultrasound means much more.

On top of that, with a fetal heartbeat just 10 days ago, it's virtually impossible for the hCG to have cleared your system by now, even if you miscarried. In other words, you must have hCG in your system under any scenario, regardless of what the HPT says. So the HPT must be wrong.

To resolve your worry, you can ask for another ultrasound.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
