Welcome BR!

Congrats on your BFP! Sounds like a great number, and as Caprice intimated, I'm betting on twins for you. :)

I just realized, I'm almost 7 weeks. In one week, I will (please G-d) see the heartbeat, and can hardly wait!

Have a great week!

Caprice: Oh, I'd make room! That would be so much fun, right alongside so scary and exhausting! But hey, as long as there's a baby involved, I say BRING IT ON!

Sharishu: Thanks for the welcome! I'm interested to see how the beta progresses on Monday.

AFM, I realize that it's easy to overreact to every little thing right now, but I just noticed the slightest bit of spotting, about the same amount that I noticed the day before I took my HPT, which made me think AF was coming. But I was wrong then, and I'm hoping it's nothing to worry about now either. I probably wouldn't have even noticed except for the Endometrin I'm taking three times a day. I know this is TMI, but I always have a liner on because of the Endometrin, and what's normally plain white discharge was a very light brown color. (and it was just a tiny bit)

Have any of you experienced this?

BR- I replied to your post on the IVF side about your beta. Congrats again! I have very light spotting on and off, nothing needing a pantiliner but when I wipe I see it. I have not worried about it too much and mentioned it to my RE at the last appt and he wasn't concerned.

I am having a lot of issues with food and wanted to ask what you guys are doing? Of course my M/S kicked in about a week ago and I don't want to eat anything. The thought of food makes me nauseous. But I am hungry all the time, it is just when I eat then I feel sick. nothing has actually come up yet but I have lost 2 lbs this week! The uncomfortable bloated feeling went away too (which I am happy about). Next u/s isn't for another 10 days, seems like forever until then.

Rikirees-

I am having a bout with nausea today (right now in fact). Crackers and Sprite help me a bit. I went to the grocery store, and felt like I was wading through jello... went REALLY slow to 'keep it together' if you know what I mean. Sigh... one of the joys of pregnancy. Ah well.

Hope you feel better soon!

I am so sick. I can't do anything. I throw up several times a day. I am taking 32 mg of Zofran a daybut still throw up at least 3 times a day. My favorite part is the pure bile in the morning. I think I'll end up in the hospital soon. This is hard because I have 2 kids to take care of.
Any news on your situation?

I became REALLY nauseous last night, and still don't feel like moving much this morning. My son is in the computer room wreaking havoc I'm sure, and I don't care! Heeeeeeeelp!

Hope we are all feeling better really soon.

Went for my second beta this morning, and it was 1282! First was 425, so it's well over the doubling they're looking for. I'm very happy about it. Asked them about the cramping and spotting, and they said both are very normal (spotting especially normal on Endometrin).

First U/S scheduled for 1/8 (six weeks exactly). Praying for patience to get there!

Hello Ladies,

I'd love to join your group! First of all CONGRATS to all you mommies-to-be.

My name is Mindy. My husband and I are pregnant after our first FET and thrilled, but scared to death. I was pregnant in Oct of 2007 and miscarried at 11 weeks! I'm so worried knowing that I have no control.

My first and only beta was 210 (9dp5dt). I have an ultrasound scheduled for Jan. 4th at 6 weeks. Trying to be patient and relax until then. Just wishing I had some nausea or something. My only sympton is very tender/sore breasts.

I'm excited to hear all your stories and to share this now, 8 month journey with you all!

God Bless!
Me: 29, unexplained DH: 29 Perfect :)
TTC: 4yrs
IVF 1: 9/09 OHSS, FET: 12/09 Beta: 210, US 1/4
Praying for our First Little Blessing!!!!

Motherhood-
Welcome, welcome! Congrats on your BFP!!!! I will be thinking good thoughts for you leading up to your U/S.

So, it turns out my 'morning sickness' was really a stomach virus, since it was accompanied by fever. So I went to the doctor, and while I was there, asked for a referral for U/S. I then took a nice little hop and skip over to the women's clinic, and had my 7 week u/s. We have a heartbeat!!!! Yayyyy! :D :D :D It was a biiiiiiiiiiig relief, truly. Going to my ob next week for another u/s (hee hee).

Hope all is well with you all :).

sharishu - So sorry you had a stomach virus, but happy that it lead to an ultrasound showing your precious babies heartbeat. I'm sure that was a huge relief. Congrats!

AFM- I really could use some reassurance. I woke up today and all of a sudden my breasts are not sore or tender at all. This worries me so much. Of course after TTC for so long, and having already m/c once, I scrutinize every little twinge or change. Has anyone ever heard that breast tenderness may change prior to the 2nd trimester. I'm really going nuts here! I know you all understand. My u/s isn't until next Monday 1/4.

Blessings to All :)

Motherhood-
All the symptoms come and go. Over the weekend my breasts were REALLY sore, past few days, not so much. I remember last time too, it's like waves... comes and goes.

FYI- your u/s is on my birthday... so it's gotta turn out great ;).

Relax and enjoy!

I'm due in August 2010!

Post by NandKdream »

Hello everyone...Just found this infertility blog and decided to join. My due date in August 28th and I'm on pins and needles. This is our second IVF attempt and I took my first Beta two weeks ago...224. Our first sonogram in next Monday. We transferred 2 embryos and are hoping for twins. However I will be ever so blessed and thankful for one healthy baby. I have 4 sons from a prior marriage (23,18.17, and 13). I'm now 44 so I know my time is limited as to getting pregnant and having a baby. My current and wonderful husband is an only child with no children of his own...SO needless to say we are both a bit stressed and concerned. :-) With that being said I look forward to any advice or encouragement from any women out there who have gone through or going through similar experiences.

Thanx everyone,
Kimberely

hi everyone! i would like to join this board too. just got my beta today and it's a BFP! my progesterone was too low, so we are increasing the dosage, hope this does the trick! technically my DD is 9/10 but it's lonely on the sept thread (it's just brmommy2b & i) so i was planning on hanging up with all of you girls too...
during my first cycle, i thought i was going to trigger on a monday night, and the RE called me back to say i needed to stim one more night and trigger the next day, and i was so disappointed b/c i had to wait an extra day. well now i have to wait 9 months! this is going to seem like an eternity!
i look forward to getting to know all of you ladies - i started reading through your posts but have a lot of pages to catch up on before i can start personals...

Hi Julia and BRMommy2B - lovely to have more familiar peeps with us! Hello to other newbies too. This is just a quicky as I have been offline since 22 Dec - visiting family over Christmas.

Well, had a bit of an eventful time last week. I feel down the stairs, from top to bottom on 23 Dec and really hurt all of my back. I was in agony all day, lying down on the sofa as the pain got worse ansd worse all aound my lower back and my pelvic area. I was obviously histerical and called our fertility clinic even though technically we have been discharged now. Anyway, they were so good and got me an appointment for an emergency scan on Christmas Eve (at which point I was 8 weeks 1 day pregnant). Everything was fine and we saw the heart beat again. To say this was a relief was na understatement - the 24 hours before the scan were hell - wrose than any bit of the IVF process so far - needless to say I am taking nothing for granted and am walking around in this bad weather like an old woman - petrified of falling over.

Does anyone else feeli like they have been preggers for years already?! Am trying to enjoy it a bit more every day that goes by and I am still pregnant. My BB are very sore and have been since I did my HPT, but I am very luck in that I have only felt slightly queasy a handful of times and apart from feeling ridiculously tired, I am fine.

Must go now anyway - have a good New Years Eve everyone x
