I'm still pregnant! It feels like forever right now. I used to feel like I would deliver definately before Christmas, but not so sure anymore. I went to the dr. a couple days ago and I'm still just at 1cm with no real changes. My OB won't induce me unless there is a problem or I assume they would if I went past my due date.

Dys- are you dilated yet or any pre-labor symptoms?

Wow, are you 2 due on the same day?? Guess it will be a race to the finish! :D

I just realized that my original due date is tomorrow!! It seemed to have come so quickly since I've already had the babies. Time flies when they are here!!

So sorry I haven't posted- I've been battling PPD- am much better now but still suffering from panic attacks. Every day is a little bit better. But to give you the nitty gritty, our little girl, Jillian Nicole Wallick, was born at 8:36AM on Friday, December 4, 2009 weighing in at 8lbs 2.8oz and was 22" long- healthy ALL NATURAL childbirth. WOW OUCH is all I can say, but she was totally and completely worth every single last ounce of pain and suffering I endured through the pregnancy and with the PPD. PTL!!! :) I love her sooo much.

More later, as I get better- but oh, yeah, labor time total was 2-3 hours. She was fast!

Nicole - It's so good to hear from you! I was wondering how you were doing. Sorry to hear you've been battling PPD but glad you are doing better. Wow, all natural childbirth. I can't imagine the pain you felt from that but like you said it's all worth it! Keep us posted on how you're doing and come join us in the parents section. Ladies I gave birth on 12/21 to a beautiful baby girl, things have been hectic I cant believe she's almost 3 weeks!!!
I'm so sorry I didnt write earlier but had a rough delivery and a longer recovery, plus baby is not a good sleeper so I'm exhausted all the time!!! She's doing wonderfully, she gained almost 2lbs in 2 weeks

Trying congratulations on your baby boy! Thank you for asking about me :D how are you doing? how is the baby?

Ian congrats on your baby girl!!!! How was it finidng out it was a girl at birth? must of been amazing!

I hope all the mommies are doing great. I'm still adjusting and everyday it gets better. Although sometimes i feel like pulling my hair out its a wonderful experience looking at how lucky I am to have her here. Every little smile makes me melt.

I applaud you ladies with twins i dont know how you girls do it :D lol

Questions for you mommies do your babies grunt? My baby does it in her sleep and it keeps me up all night long! She doesnt do it every minute but will do it couple of times (it got better lately) I'm worried about it it looks like she streches and moves har hands and feet around and thats when the grunting comes out ped. says its all normal but I'm still worried.

Does anyone pump? I'm trying to pump every 2-3hrs but its hard with her waking up all the time. If i dont pump it feels like my boobs will explode lol! I want to wean off and tried pumping less but they hurt so bad i find myself pumping just to relieve the pain.

ok g2g take care ladies

:D

dys - Congrats! We've been waiting to hear your good news! My twins grunt but mostly Ren. It is normal. Most of the time when he grunts, I think he's passing gas or filling his diaper. I worry about SIDS all the time so I welcome the noises of grunts and snores. lol. Silence worries me. I could do without the constant crying though. My twins have had colic. The drops the doctor prescribed seems to help though. I also pump. I try to pump every 2-3 hours to increase my supply but it doesn't always happen. When I am home, I pump in between feedings but I can only pump maybe once at work. I know what you mean about the pain when not pumping.

We started a thread on the parents section (Nov/Dec 2009 Babies) if you want us to join us.
