I have my ET tomorrow. I am freaking out as I had my ER on Wed and was told about the fertilization report on Thurs and then it was the long weekend so I couldn't contact my clinic to know the progress of the embies. I had seven fertilized eggs out of 12 retrieved and 9 mature ones. We are doing ICSI. Do I stand a chance of having at least one or two embryos for transfer tomorrow? Did anyone have the same amount of fertilized eggs and were able to have some embryos that reached the blastocyst stage? I am worried that I might go in tomorrow and they will tell me that I have nothing for transfer Thanks.
i had 25 retrieved, 20 were mature, 4 fertilized. i had a 3dt of 1 "perfect" 8-cell embbie & 1 "slightly fragmented" 8-cell embbie. i got a bfp, but unfortunately miscarried. lots of luck to you...wishing you a bfp!
sak - I replied to your other thread, but I wanted to tell you here that the chances of you having blasts is very high with the amount you had fertilize. Like I said in my other reply, I had 8 fertilize and 4 made it to day 5.

Sak -- I think you should relax and think positive. Your chances are very good. I had 6 eggs, 5 mature, 4 fert. Two 8 cell perfect embies were transferred at 3 days & I got a BFN. One failed to develop and one made it to blast & looked great. I'm having a FET with that one on Weds. I would choose to tx 2 if I had another mostly b/c of my age. But I do not want multiples. A friend pregnant with twins via IVF went into labor at 24 weeks last year and ended up losing one baby at 3 days old. The other is doing well. But they weighed only 1 lb. It devastated her. I don't want to worry about complications of a multiple pregnancy. My clinic will only tx a max of two for that reason. I think blasts have the best chance. I am cautiously hopeful for this one. Best of luck to you tomorrow. Sending you sticky dust!
