Bleeding at 6-7 weeks...help!

Post by shep181 »

Hi All, I feel like I've had nothing but questions the past few weeks!!
I just noticed I am spotting...I am 6 weeks, 5 days, and upon an early u/s last week, there were 2 sacs. I am going for regular u/s in 3 days, but I am very scared. The spotting isn't very heavy, but definitely there, and brownish in color. It just started, so I'm not sure how substantial it will be...
Any stories either way? I need to know....
Ghost?

I had the same problem it started at almost 5 weeks so I went to the dr and they did an ultrasound and they found two sacs dr said it's very common especially when there are 2 in there it can just be a part of implantation bleeding and they say as long as it's brown in color it means old blood and should be fine just hold on tight and don't lose hope k this can be very normal especially with multiples I'm going today for my follow up ultrasound to make sure they're still going strong I can't wait to find out but I'm also very nervous this whole spotting thing is very scary but from the mouth of my RE and my OB it's nothing to panic about as long as it's not heavy, bright red and clotting hope that helps.

My RE just called and said the same thing...I've felt some cramping as well in the last hour, but this really stinks!!
To your point, it's so nerve racking!!

I am only 6 weeks 2 days along with twins, trust your RE about the spotting I had a hard time believing it and have had a negative attitude all this time but a second ulotrasound today showed two babies still with two heartbeats so the spotting really was nothing to be concerned with hope this eases your mind

I also had spotting and bleeding this weekend, at 5 weeks 3 days. I was very upset, and I went in for my U/S this morning. They said they don't like to see any bleeding, but the bright red kind is what you really have to worry about. Mine was pink/brown, and they checked my cervix, which RE said is completely shut and not leaking at all, and my ultrasound showed everything exactly where it should be (yolk sac, fetal pole, halo, etc). RE said if he could have written a script for the appt this is how it would have gone.

Like you guys, this is the most nervewracking thing ever! Wish I could just sleep til 8 months!
