Clemo - great, great news!!! Can't wait to hear the u/s results!!! What a fun year 2010 is going to be. Yippee!!!

Pauline - you are next! Let us know when everything is happening.

Hopeful - glad that your little nephew is doing well now. What a scare. It sure makes you appreciate these little miracles!

Carolyn - can't believe you are on the home stretch. Let us know your date! It won't be long now.

Hi to Pooh, Gigi, Summer, Sabi and anyone else I may have missed.

I read often but it is usually on the run so I don't have time to post.
My little ones are walking (or should I say running) and really understanding now. What a fun age 15 months is!!

Happy 2010 for everyone. It is going to be a 'kick-ass' year for this thread!!!

Clemo, congrats on your BFP.

Carolyn, how are you - getting ready?

Kelly, thanks for checking in & cheering us on. Can't believe the twins are 15 months already, how was Christmas with them? My sister has a little girl same age and she was more interested in the boxes her presents came in rather than the toys

Am I the only one now to get the BFP? or is there anyone else out there?

Hi to everyone else.

AFM, this time round on the estrogen I seem to be getting headaches and definitely moody! I had day 10 scan today and all looks great. Find out Wednesday what day donor ER will be. Should be middle of next week. We have a plan that DH goes out day of ER and returns same day and then we fly out together day before ET. I just hope it all goes to plan.

Hi girls and Happy New Year!

Big congratulations to Clemo!!!! Hooray!!!! All the best to you for smooth sailing for the next months! So excited for you...guess that R&R in Thailand was just what the doctor ordered...

Pauline - you are next! Keep up your PMA, as everything sounds so far, so good! Stay, stay positive! It has been so cold here, so dress warm for Prag. Keep your feet warm!

Carolyn and Sabi -- you are both soooooooooo close! Thinking of both of you and wishing you easy deliveries.

Kelly - how are you and your twins? I am sure the holidays were so much fun!

Hopeful, Stef and all the other moms-to-be - keep following your doctor's advice and listen to your body. Won't be long now!

I am well. My mom sadly leaves this Sunday, but will be back in the spring for a visit. It has been great having her here.
Anna is doing well. We are headed to the consulate tomorrow to get her her US passport and she starts baby swimming this week. She is smiling like crazy,, especially at DH, and we expect a giggle any day now. We love her so much!

Happy New Year to everyone. May all your dreams and wishes come true in 2010!

I am FREAKING out! The weather here in the UK (surrey) is turning terrible. We woke to a foot of snow this morning and we are promised more the rest of this week and next. If this keeps up I'm worried that we won't get to Prague for DH to give his supply. What if they have to freeze the eggs - what are the chances of them surviving the thaw?

I'm praying like mad for better weather but don't know if this will happen.

Feeling blah

Wishful - I can't believe you are already 33w. Gosh time flys by. Hoping you have a successful very uneventful delivery.

I guess I might be joining this board. My sister has agreed to be a donor. She is going to be 39 in Feb so I know the odds are a lower then haveing some young 20 yr old. She is healthier then I am and has a 1yr old and a 3yr old so TTC was never and issue for her. This week I am going to get the ball rolling for insurance stuff and also switching clinics. Going to cycle at the SIRM clinic that is closest to her. She should be able to get her testing done at the beginning of Feb and then hopefully we will cycle in March. If we can't do it in March then will have to wait till June / July. In the mean time, I am going to be doing an injectible IUI cycle. Not very hopeful for the IUI but it is something to do to pass the time. Have lots of leftover meds and insurance will pay for an unlimited amount of iuis so figured I might as well give it a shot. It only takes one good eggie.

Quick update from me, DH is off to Prague tomorrow and returns Tuesday. After speaking to Anastasia at clinic, think ER is on Wednesday but what with weather and seemingly no flights to/from Prague on Wednesday he is off tomorrow so he can bank some. If ER on Weds then ET on either Sat or Mon. I've asked for extended cultivation (if poss) and assisted hatching. Anastasia seemed to be against assisted hatching but my sister had it with her little girl and a friends friend had it and now has twins. I'm all for it, cause I reckon it helps the embies to attach?

I'm just wondering whether or not you guys had Assisted Hatching?

Chris, welcome to the board, good luck with your cycle.

Thanks everyone for your words of encouragement. In approx 1 week I will be PUPO and am looking forward to a BFP at the end of it!

Oh, one other thing, as I've said before, I seem to be getting extra headaches this time round, can you guys recommend anything I can take to help allievate them - thanks.

pauline - you can take tylenol - make sure you are drinking lots and lots of water-- 3 liters/day...that will also help keep the headaches at bay. Thinking of you this weekend - all the best! You will be pupo very soon and fingers crossed for your very own BFP in a few weeks!

chris - welcome and best of luck with your cycle!

big hello to everyone! carolyn and sabi -- not long now!

Quick update from me, DH went to Prague on Monday & returned yesterday after leaving his sample! ER was today with 13 eggs retrieved, find out tomorrow how many fertilise. We have booked flights for Sunday have ET on Monday and return home Tuesday.

Thanks Summer for the advice on headaches, will up my intake of water. I will be bringing my own pillow with me this time, as last time, on morning of transfer I woke up middle of night with headache that turned into migraine and I don't want a repeat of that!

Clemo, how are you doing?

Chris, when will you find out when you will be doing cycle with sister, what an amazing woman she is.

Hope everyone else is enjoying their pregnancy. Not long now Carolyn & Sabi.

I look forward to being a full time member of your club very soon !!

Roll on Monday when I will be PUPO :D

Pauline - Congrats on the 13 eggs. Hoping for a good fert report.

My sis should do her testing around the first week of Feb. After that will decide for sure if we will use her. If it doesn't look like the outcome will be good I will probably not use my sister and go for an anonymous donor.
