thanks for your good wishes Robbo - I got the "right" outcome thankfully no ectopic - the levels are back to zero.

Good to hear you are having another go - Do you ever think that you will stop the IVF and just be happy with your DD.

sometimes I think an only child is OK - I might do some reading - I'm sure there must be books on the wonder of only one or something like that...

Hi girls! Sorry haven't been keeping up on here lately. Twins keep a person very busy...guess that's no surprise to anyone! Our babies are growing so darn fast. They are a little over 4 months and getting so much fun. It's so great to see them do new things every day. Lots and lots of work and so tired but so much fun and such a great blessing to us.

Angie~ I am sooo sorry. I started reading about your cycle and got excited until I got to the end. I was so hoping to hear good news. Sorry hon, maybe that one frostie will be the magic bean! Give ams lots of extra hugs and kisses.

Robbo~ How are you? Did I read right, you're going to try again this summer?

Jenn~ Send me a message so I can add you on fb too. I don't put much on there but I like to go on and look at everyone's updated pictures. I hope Anna and Sam are doing well.

Meg~ You're in the home stretch now! Can't believe you're so far along already. Time seemed to go by real fast (at least for us!).

Nickster- Good to hear from you. I am glad that you were able to give us a little update though the twins have been keeping you busy. I am sure they are growing and changing like crazy.

Angie- yes, I often think of giving up. I know I have a beautiful daughter and should be content. Actually we took a whole year off from it. However, there is something in me that says we are not done. So....I am off to Denver, Colorado for an appointment in just one short week. It is amazing how different clinics do things. This WILL be our LAST attempt!!!

Robbo--What made you choose Denver? You're in Texas, right? I'm praying this is your time!

Angie--So sorry it didn't work out. Not much else to say without sounding cheesy, so I'll just leave it at that. Glad to hear that Amelie is such a good little girl....

We're chugging along here. Can't believe it's only 4 days until Christmas. Had a checkup today and am dilated 3 cm....but that's how I was with Lucy the whole last months so I'm not too worried. We scheduled my C-section for January 14th...which is great. I'm really concerned about what to do this weekend--we're supposed to go to my mom's house for the weekend for Christmas which is 3 hours away but my doctor wasn't too keen about the idea. I can't imagine that I'll go into labor, but it would suck to be so far away from home. But I really want to be with my family for Christmas. Argh. It's one of those things where if I go, I'll ho into labor but if I stay I'll be fine.

Oh well, Merry Christmas to all!!!!!!!!

Meg- I cannot believe your due date is just around the corner. I am sure that you are ready to have your little one.
I am anxious to hear what you decide to do about Christmas. Like you said if you go, you will go into labor, if you stay you won't. Not a choice I would want to make.
Hope you have a great Christmas regardless of what you choose.

I chose Denver because I am from there so my mother can watch my daughter for me (and we dont' have to pay for room or board). I also chose it because it is the number 1 doctor in the US as far as success rates go. So....we will see what happens. As I have stated earlier he is quite pricey, so he better make it worth my time:)

To everyone else....we hope you have a great Christmas.

Good Luck Robbo!!! Keep us posted!

Hope everyone had a great holiday, I haven't checked on here in a while so I popped in to see if the thread was still alive. Glad I did!

Angie~ i did the same as nickster got excited for you and then read to the end and was bummed! So sorry it turned out like that, but you seem to have a good outlook on it.

Gotta run someone is up from nap...
Jenn

Henry Dean was born Thursday at 7:55. He's gorgeous! (Okay, so I'm a little biased but he really is!) Very healthy--7 lbs 2 ounces. He's super mellow. Doing great breastfeeding. He's totally the opposite of Lucy in terms of how easy he is, but I suppose the second child is always easier as we know what we're doing (sort of!)

I'm feeling okay...the c-section went well but I'm starting to hurt today. My poor groin is so swollen I look like a man! (okay, sorry for tmi but I figured you all could handle it!) I will post pictures on photobucket when I get a chance....pictures of Henry, not my groin!

You guys, I just feel so blessed and happy. Life is good in our little patch of the world this weekend!!!

Congrats Mego! Glad to hear that things are easier the second time around. Even if you have apparently turned into a bloke with your groin issues! How does Lucy like her little brother??

Angie! Will you be going for another round soon? I may need to join you if you are!

Robbo, glad to hear you are having another shot. Exciting to hear that your specialist has such a good reputation too. That must be very reassuring.

Hey Nickster, your twins are gorgeous, you guys must still be on cloud 9! you must have your hands full though!

Jenn, I've been checking on your blog, your two are also fantastic, can't believe how big Sam is already, where did the last year go???

I'm fine, still have not lost any weight. I think I'll have to give up and just go back to the clinic in my current form. Hope no-one in the waiting room gets upset thinking I'm pregnant. Dammit I still look pregnant! Oh well...

Well i'd better go and do some work. I'm sweltering in 42degrees here!

Henry Dean - what lovely news. Congratulations Meg - how does Lucy like her new baby brother. Very pleased for you and look forward to checking out photo bucket. Hope your groin improves quickly!

No plans for IVF yet Fee - still have that one little frostie waiting. And I am sure you don't look pregnant - if it 's 42 degrees over there I'd say get yourself in your bikinin and down to the beach!

So I tried to put pictures on photobucket, but it wouldn't let me for some reason. Anyway, I've started a blog although I really don't know what I'm doing plus I have like 2 minutes of free time here and there that I'm trying to do it in but at least you can see some pictures of Henry if you'd like!

Aaaagh, gotta go! Hope everyone is great! Oh yeah, the blog site is theedwards4family.blogspot.com
