How many days past a 5 day transfer did you do an hpt?

Post by sakooooot »

My beta is scheduled for Thurs 1/14. My ET was on 1/4. I still haven't had the courage to do an hpt. Just wanted to know when you guys tested after a 5 day blastocyst transfer? I might just wait it out till the beta. Did any of you ever wait it out till the beta or am I just a big chicken!?

It can show up as early as 5 days after the transfer, but usually it takes longer. You can test that early, but you will probably just waste your tests and disappoint yourself needlessly. Around 10 days a viable pregnancy should be detected with a good HPT.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

I tested 8 days past my 5dt and got my BFP. It's really safe to say if you tested today you would definately see something. GL!

After a failed cycle with no POAS I vowed to not go into another beta without having tested at home first. This cycle I tested 6dp5dt and was positive. That was a first response digital test. The next day I used a cheapo that claims to work well and it was questionable whether there was a line or not. Thankfully the first one was correct! Good Luck!

I did testing 10 days post transfer on a Day 6 transfer - testing was faint but accurate. I wouldn't test too early - the test results won't mean much. All I really wanted to do was know before I got the call from the nurse. Best of luck!

sakoooot - my clinic doesn't do betas any more, so for this last cycle, they told me to test at home on 18 dpo (so 13dp5dt). In fact, I tested on New Years Day which was 12dp5dt and got a very strong positive. I would say the longer you can wait it out, the better, so that you don't have to stress about whether you can or can't see a faint line if you test early.

My first cycle, when my clinic still offered betas, I tested the night before my beta so as to be somewhat prepared for the outcome.

Good luck!

You made it this far...if you have not taken it already, just wait. I did a HPT 8dp5dt with my first cycle and got a positive. I waited 3 more days for my beta on cloud nine thinking I was PG only to find out my HCG dropped and was a chemical.
With my second cycle, I waited it out til the beta. They even made me wait til 13dp5dt for it! I had spotting the night before and thought it was over for me. But I got the call and it was 960!!! I am so glad I just waitied for the offical answer instead of having any more false positives.
