shermy19 i may have my cycled cancelled due to a polyp! During a routine biopsy of my womb in dec they found irregular lining and removed that to test, yesterday got the call that they found a polyp and it has to be removed by the 9th feb(start of stims) but my local gynae has to do it and it may not be possible to get it done in time. I wont find out for at least another wk when the appt is but i got my nurse to put Urgent on the referral letter....i hope it works!! How are you doing good luck with the lupron

so sorry to hear about your polyp...hopefully they can get to it in time and you can still continue with your cycle! I will keep my fingers crossed for you. Let me know what happens next week. I started my lupron tonight and will most likely start my stims the week of January 25. I'll know more in a week. Good luck!!!

Hi girls,

I was looking for a board just like this and thank heavens I can't get lost.I love the big board and often get my answers but I too wanna have a close buddy who knows whats up with me.

I got my AF on 14th jan and have stated with injects. AF was late after the BCP and so was a little worried but I just hope that the IVF#3 is gonna be a second blessing for me.

Welcome Shafs...I'm so glad you are joining us. I also like the smaller group...it's hard to keep up with so many people. Definitely wishing you the best. I started my lupron on Wed. and will be strating my stims the week of Jan. 25. This is my 2nd IVF (the first one did not work). I'm 37 and praying that this will be the one. You have been successful so that gives me hope (which I struggle to find). Keep me posted on how you are doing. I'm in upstate NY...where are you? We will be close in terms of our cycle. Good luck!!!!

Hi girls, got the same prob with the big board but was indeed hoping for march cycle buddies as I am scheduled to have my 2nd FET. Consider me plunged into this board lol Hoping to see all of you and ya'll have my prayers :D

To those who've gotten their BFP's, could you guys give pointers on how to start the cycle right? The economy's been bad lately and i dont want to waste another try. I've always been wondering if I could have done more to prep myself. Anyone willing to share? Plz :)

Welcome Minkidoo! I was wondering the same thing. I asked my doctor and he said that I didn't do anythng wrong, but I would like to know if anything would help. Shafia, wow...I know it's hard to find other people cycling at the same time, that's why this board is so great. I will be praying for all of us that this is "our time!"

Hey ladies just catching up. I have my appointment scheduled for 20th. For my first cycle of IVF I thought I was missing something and somehow I knew it was not gonna work. But pray that we all should not have to go thru another cycle again.
My inlaws are visiting me for a fortnight that makes things worst as they are very old and I have to be on my toes all the time.My DS is at school so its all the more hectic to start mt day at 5am and end it by 10 in the evening. But i guess thats keeping my mind off the treatment tensions..catch you guys soon

Hey girls! I love this smaller group. How about we kind of do a bit of a note to say where we're at so we can get to know each other?

I'm Sonya, and I'm currently in Vancouver, BC undergoing my first IVF cycle. I'm staying alone at a hotel as DH works in the alberta oilfields and can only join me for a few days when we do ER.

I finished BCP on January 12th, did baseline US and BW on January 15th and started stims on the same day. My E2 was 85. Had bloodwork today and my E2 was 560, which they say is right on track. Another Ultrasound and Bloodwork on the 20th (Wednesday).

Feeling: hopeful, excited, a little lonely!

Hi ladies! It seems like everyone is doing ok. Dand, sorry you're feeling a little lonely, but hopefully the end result will be worth it. Shafia, I know the stress of he family is overwhelming sometimes. Try to find some "me time" if you can...

My name is Sarah, I'm almost 38, and I live upstate NY. I am a teacher so I have today off (yeah). Sorry if I don't know all of the abbrevations, but I am new to this. I started my lupron last week and am currently waiting for my menstrual cycle to start. This should be within the next few days. I should be starting my stims on either Friday or Monday. I will be using gonal-f and lupron. I am really hoping this is the time that works! I'm excited, nervous, hopeful, worried all at the same time. So many emotions! Good luck to all of you. Looking forward to seeing how this month goes for all of us.

Hi girls,

Sonya we are exactly on the same days. I am also having my next appt on 20th. I'll keep track and pray that we share a BCP :)

Sarha: you are a bit behind us but still right with us, belive me stress is the word seems to be made for us. But we deal beautifullly. About the abbrevations we can leave them as I also don't know most of them.

rest of you all have a nice day.

Sonya...

So, I just started reading your blog and I have tears in my eyes. First of all, you are a beautiful couple and I am really hoping that this works for you! Also, I am so sorry to hear about your sister. This can not be easy and I will say a pprayer for her. You seem to have a great son and you should be proud that you raised such a fine, youn man! I SO hope this works for you (especailly with the otrageous costs). I am going to keep reading, but I just wanted you to know that you are in my thoughts...

I am new too. This will be our first IVF attempt. I am very scared with seeing all the failed IVF first time results. We have chose a program that allows us 2 fresh tranfers and 2 frozen (if there are snow babies) AF is dues this Thursday so I will know what the plan is for this cycle. My DH and I are calling the finance company tonight to make sure they will give us the loan. I am sooo excited and terrified. I am happy to have the opportunity to go on this journey with you all. TTC sisters
ME 39 advanced maternal age (DD previous marriage)
DH 35 perfect swimmers (no biological children)
9 failed watched (climid, menupur, HSG cycles) 4 failed IUIs. First time IVF starting this cycle.

Welcome babyranger! We will be cycling at almost the exact same time. The first time did not work for me, but th doesn't mean it can't work for you!! I know that is scary and exciting all at the same time. It is nice to have other people on here who are going through the exact same thing. Keep me posted and I will do the same. Good luck!!!
