Hi Ya Dagny

How are you doing? You definately deserve your holiday to Lanzarote.
I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time.
I can't believe all thats been happening! I've been tearing my hair out not being able to log on - I even told the pc man when he came round today that I would hold him hostage until he fixed it!!!! Luckily it's all sorted now although we are about £200 poorer!!
Have just been out walking my neighbours dog and I'm knackered! I didn't realise how unfit I am!.
I hope you have a fantastic holiday Dagny and enjoy some well deserved time with you dh.
Love

Welcome back - glad all ok - You have missed loads  NEver mind back now! White maltesers are yummy though! Try some fake tan - fine in pg!

Hols were fab but feeling very lethargic today - managed my one hour walk with the dog but that is my lot I feel apart from a stint on ebay and some attempt to work and make some fees!
Take care

Hi Tracey & Juliana

I'm still trying to catch up with everything thats happened over the last couple of weeks, I feel as though I've been away for ages!!
Tracey, how's the new business going? I hope those 2 girls aren't making you feel too tired!
Have you spoken to Nikola yet? Please send her my love.
Juliana
Thanks for your message, how are you?
Have you got a bump yet?!
Has anyone heard from Michelle? She is got her positive around the same time as us but I haven't seen her post for ages.
I'm playing nurse at the moment, my dh has broken some ribs playing footy so I'm running around after him and boy am I knackered!!
I think he's getting his own back after lookin after me during the tmt and first few weeks of being pg! I still cant believe that we are actually going to be parents!!
I know this is probably a daft question, but do you find your bump is bigger as the day goes on and then shrinks back the following morning?!

Dawn or should I say nursey!!!
Business - well flaming candidates keep turning down the jobs so still no fees and now getting titsed off with it - pardon the expression and not doing a lot  Have texted Nik - she had a blood transfusion last night and will be out tomorrow - will send her your love.
As for shrinking bump syndrome - don't worry I had that and some people took the mickey  as you progress it gets harder and will not shrink but I still sometimes feel it is smaller in the morning!

Hi Tracey

Sorry to here the business is a bit slow at the moment, I'm sure it'll pick up - just when you have your hands full!!!
Thanks for the reassurance re the bump - I really am quite worried about the size of mine and am constantly being told by people that they didn't show until 5mths and should I be this big!! I guess I'm still a bit swollen from the drugs? Well whos cares I've waited a long time for this and am proud of my little football!! Although I'm at that inbetween stage where my trousers don't fit but maternity stuff is way too big. Surely there's a gap in the market that needs filling...!
Took dh to the dr's again today and he has confirmed that he has fractured several ribs so he will be off work now for a few weeks so am going to work for a rest!! Men are such babies aren't they!!
I bet Dagny's having a few Sangrias in lanzarote tonight and well derserved they are too.
Right am off to bed as can't stay awake past 10.15 these days!

Men and ribs hey - what a fuss they make - know it's painful but really - serves them right from when Adam gave one away to have a women all those years ago
don't worry about bump and just dress in maternity clothes but put them on the smallest - I did - but know what you mean about inbetween.
Good old Dagny - miss her already - hope she is having a nice time and downing some bevvies for us.
Catch you later - if not - happy weekend
Love

Hi Dawn,
I wanted to respond to your mail in more detail, I missed you on the site, even had posted a thread for you way back, but then I got hit by the latest scare and was not fit for anything for a while. I must say I'd so much rather talk about clothes problems than losing fluid! but now i feel a bit better i can get into lighte topics :) You are so right that this intermediary stage is strange, too small for pg clothes but none of my normal pants fit me any more, bought one a size larger and then dp made some donations of his pants but it's a struggle what to wear. anyway as long as the babies are healthy and grwoing i am not complaining!
have you put on weight? I have gained 4 kg (not sure how mcuh this is in pounds), which seems ok.
love,
juliana

Hi Juliana
Sorry for delay in replying but I haven't logged on for a few days.
I'm sorry to read you've had a scary couple of days. You must not beat yourself up for having the amnio. Like the others have said you thought long and hard and took into account your reasons and you made the decision that was right for you. Both dh & I had always said that we would have all the tests offered to us. My midwife was really surprised when we said we wanted the test when we went for our first appt with her!! We had the nuchal scan the day after the 12 week scan and I'm having the blood test for spina bifida on Friday and hopefully wwe'll get to hear the heartbeat.
As for putting on weight I've put on 2kgs but woke up on Sat and my bump has suddenly grown and people are noticing I'm pregnant (although I must admit I'm not hiding it under baggy clothes as I'm so proud I want to show it off)!!
How's your bump?!! 4kgs sounds good especially as you've got 2 in there!!!
Make sure your taking it easy and let me know how your getting on

Hi Dawn,
My bump because suddenly much more visible this week, it seemed to happen almost overnight with me as well! DP is very proud and started making jokes about how big I am! I am not hiding it either, since today I won't have any reasosn left as my dp will tell his boys today, i am a bit apprehensive how they will react. we will all have a holiday in the coming 10 days, probably my last trip. Will write when I am back and good luck with the tests!

Hi you two

Glad the bumps are growing - they suddenly explode - this lady made her husband move down the stairs for me yesterday - I had to laugh - he left enough room for an aircraft carrier - not sure where it has all come from all of a sudden. The scanner said today she has ladies who are smaller at term than me. I am 5.4 and a half (very important half! ) and small frame - standard 10 but tiny bones. My bump is now a solid ball and is all up front - you can't tell from behind at all which is why they get a shock when I turn round I suppose. No stretch marks and I am measuring 31 weeks pg at 25 tomorrow. Are you both rubbing loads of cream in - if you are going to get them I think you do but cream does help! Start early - can't risk it!
Juliana - fingers crossed for the amnio and Dawn for your tests. I am sure the boys will be fine - depends how you sell it I reckon - mind you our two girls are well in to babies so that helps - perhaps you could tell the boys the twins come with free tickets to a footie match if it helps!

Take care you two
Love

Hi girls

Tracey, great to hear your scan went well - now you can relax for another 4 weeks!!
Your girls sound like they are going to be a handful!! Poor dh I sympathise with him already!. How many bathrooms have you got...!
As for bump sizes if one more person says I shouldn't be this big so early I'll punch them.. I saw one of our clients in sainsburys today (bearing in mind when she had her last baby I thought she was still pregnant) and she said "oh my god have you got 3 in there, if you carry on growing likethat you won't be able to walk" Talk about make me feel good. I can still get into my jeans - ok they are hipsters!! but they still fit and I think my bump is only noticable because I'm not covering it up with baggy tops.
Sorry I've gone off on a rant again!!!
I hope you have a nice trip Juliana and it's not too diffficult telling your stepsons about the twins, I'm sure they'll be fine.
I don't know what to do about finding out the sex of ours, dh wants to know but I can't make my mind up although we've got til the 3 June to decide so we'll see.
Have you both thought of any names yet?
Hopefully we'll hear the heartbeat tomorrow - I'm soooo excited abd it feels like another hurdle will be out of the way (well hopefully).
Love to you both
Dawn
