I'm sad to say that I will be leaving this thread. My ob did not find a fetal heartbeat today, and he said the fetus is the same size as last week. I will go in for a D/C some time this week I hope. :(

In shock and sad tonight... All is for the best...

P.S. Have wonderful pregnancies, ladies. Very happy for all of you :)

Let's guess how many babies there will be today. First ultrasound there was 2. Second there was 1. Third there was 3. I am excited to see how many kids I will have this time. :)

Shari- I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Wishing you all the success in the future and another SURPRISE BFP.

Caprice- your post sounds like my first pregnancy. Every time I went there was something new! 2 sac's, 3 sac's, 4 heartbeats...Let us know how it goes. By now they should have a better view and actually start getting the numbers right, right?!?!

AFM, I went for my first trimester blood work today. The State of CA has some test that is required that takes 2 weeks for results and then my doc added more tests. They took 10 viles! I am getting used to testing my blood sugar 4 times a day and so far so issues with my numbers. Things are pretty quiet for a week until my last apt with my RE. Haven't gained any weight yet, despite how hard I am trying. Eating 6-8 mini meals a day but protein is my enemy. I just can't stomach any meat at all. Trying to stuff myself on carbs but no gains yet.

Hello ladies,

Just popping in on your thread... am nearly 9 weeks pregnant. Have a 10 week scan next week. Just thought I would ask, do any of you ladies go through periods when you have no symptoms at all? Get quite worried when this happens, especially after previous m/c. I think the worst! Just can't wait for scan to say everything is okay!

Hope you're all having a nice day!

I'm having the same thing the symptoms come and go my boobs stopped being sore and I haven't had any real morning sickness in days it's weird cause with my previous pregnancies I was sick constantly but now that I'm carrying twins I have less symptoms totally odd but I've had 3 ultrasound and both babies have been fine everytime. Do you have any other weird things happening? cause I do I've got the pregnancy veins in my breast and man my belly is getting hairy all of which happened with my other two pregnancies.

Hello!

Well, Mommieof2 - I can't say I've experienced the hairy belly - but maybe I need to inspect a little closer! At least your ultrasounds are all positive, that must be reassuring. My consultant is in the Sudan and can't get a flight out until next week so my scan has been postponed for a further week- argghhh!

Anyway pretty much all my symptoms have fallen away - apart from feeling pretty emotional. On the bus on the way to work this morning, I started thinking about a movie I saw the night before and got all weepy. If I didn't know better, I'd think I was going slightly loopy... :?

Caprice- how was your scan last week?
Starwishes- all my symptoms come and go.
Mommyof2- no hair on my belly but man the hair on my face is horrible. So dark and thick. I got it waxed a week ago and it all grew back already. I know it is bad when the DH notices and says something:(

I got released from my RE today. I will miss the staff there. The RE's and his staff are so much more sensitive to how nervous we are than my OB and her staff. If everything goes ok and these babies are boys (they are identical so no chance of B/G twins) I think I am done. 3 kids is a blessing for me! No idea what I will do with all the frosties I have left.

Wow. You guys are so so lucky. I know it's scary when your ms symptoms stop but right now I would give anything to hVe them stop. I am so afraid I am going to hurt my babies with all the meds but without them, I'd be in the hospital. With the two other kids I hAve it's just not an option for us.

I'm on 8 mg zofran 4x a dAy
5mg marinol 2x a day
25 mg phenergan
in home IV therapy whenever needed
unisom 25mg 3x a day
b6 50 mg 4x a day
stool softners with every meal
and I can barely get outta bed. I shower only when my dh hauls me out of bed and makes me which is usually around day 3.5 or 4.

Does that sound like I'm just hurtng the babies I worked so hard to get?

Riki
there is just the 2 now. Identicals for me too. I am very happy about that.
Does your re say everything is gonna be ok, or are you still scared?

Caprice- I am so sorry you are having such a hard time. All those meds...yikes! Yeah for identicals!

I just got a call from my high risk OB that I tested positive for a genetic mutation that causes blood clots in the placenta. I start lovenox sub q injections tomorrow. So much for being injection free...
But on that note, my DD was born at 26 weeks (water broke at 24) and after the C section the OB said the placenta was FULL of blood clots. I was not aware I had this but it makes sense now..I must have had this mutation when I was PG before and maybe that is why she was born so early.

hi ladies

caprice- good luck with all those meds - at least it keeps you out of hospital. Great about your identicals!

Rikirees- it's never nice taking injections - again- but at least they will help protect you guys.

I spotted light brown blood last night - freaked me out, but hear it's quite common. Think I will try move my scan forward to Monday - need peace of mind, especially now symptoms have fallen away - apart from slight tugging on uterus. No-one told me how anxiety making this whole waiting game during pregnancy is :!:

Hello ladies,

Anyone still there? We've all gone a bit quiet I see. Hope you are all OK.
I had my 12 week scan last week plus a private nuchal scan that we paid for to test for down's syndrome - and they both went fine - which was a huge relief. I have only fet sick a few times and never a actually been sick so think I have been quite lucky. Sometimes wish I had more symptoms though just so that I know I am still pregnant as my next scan is at 20 weeks and that seems like years away!

Have completely lost my waist now though - although it will be nice when it's a proper bump and I don't just look like I'm fat!

Hope to hear from some of you soon

Hello mommies. I post in the October 2010 thread, but I have a question for you ladies since you all are a couple month ahead of me. I'm preggers with Twins and yesterday during the u/s at 7w1d we say both hb's and all looks ok. My nurse called later and said to reduce my PIO dosage to half. So I did and last night I woke up to pee and had crampy feeling with brown discharge. It is still happening on and off. It feels like AF is coming. No red or pink blood. All brown. I've read that the placenta doesn't take over the progesterone production until about 12 weeks? I"m so worried now. Isn't it too early to start reducing Progesterone dosage? My progesterone level was 40 yesterday. But I am carrying twins, so this just seems insane to start reducing so early. I decided about an hour ago to take my remaining PIO dosage that I reduced last night. I hope to GOD nothing is wrong. Did this happen to any of you ladies after stopping PIO? (BTW, we did PGD on all 23 chromosomes so we know they are normal). Any insight you can offer would be helpful. I left my nurse a message too.
