Ghost or anyone - Lupron for 12 days?

Post by itsgottawork »

Hello,
My protocol for cycles has always been 10 days of Lupron, go in for baseline testing on the morning of the 11th day and then start stims. This time, my day 10 is going to be on a Friday. My RE's office said they don't do baseline testing on the weekends even though they do pretty much all other testing. I am now scheduled for the following Monday which will be day 13 of Lupron at 10 units. They said this is the standard protocol and has no impact on the cycle's success.
I am looking for a little extra assurance. Is this true?
Thanks in advance!
Me: 35; DH: 37
1st IVF/ICSI - 11/07 - BFP - Chemical
2nd IVF/ICSI - 3/08 - BFP - Beautiful Baby Boy!
3rd IVF/ICSI - Jan/Feb 2010!

I doubt the duration matters much, provided it is at least long enough to shut down the pituitary (several days) and your baseline is ok.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

Thanks! I just wanted to make sure I wasn't starting out with something already against me.
