8 Week scan

Well we had the scan this morning and all is well so far. Baby G is 15mm approx and we could see a head and a heartbeat!

Next scan is at 12 weeks, we wait for that now...

Still feeling cra**y, though have not been sick today which is a welcome outcome!

it is fantastic and amazing to see the heartbeat isn't it... i am so pleased that everything went well today.

congradulations lorraine, it only seems like yesterday when i had my
first scan, its just such a relief and excitiement all in one, just
take it easy now till 12 wks,

Hi Lorraine

Congratulations. It is so wonderful to see the heartbeat you never forget that feeling. Hopefully the weeks will pass quick until your 12wk scan you will really see a difference.

I.V.F started in 2001. 1st cycle +ve mc nov 2001 at 12 weeks. Fet mar 2002 +ve then -ve.
2nd cycle +ve eptopic oct 2002 6 weeks.
fet mar 2003 -ve. 3rd cycle over stimulated embies frozen. Fet nov 2003 +ve due 11/8/04.

WEll done fantastic - you can breathe again until 12 weeks - I always wanted that crappy feeling to go and then worried when it did! What are we like?

Glad all went well at the scan. Hope you feel a bit better soon. The next scan will be amazing compared to this one. They grow so FAST :shock:

So happy for you Lorraine.
I am a week behind you to will look out for ya! (7 wks tomorrow)

I had my 1st scan yesterday at 6wks and 5 days. One ickle sack with a flickering heart beat inside. 4.3mm. Isnt it a miracle. All I keep saying is "I cant believe it". Victor Meldrew, eat your heart out eh!!!!!
