With my 1st and 2nd FET I used Progesterone Gel vaginally. My 1st FET was BFN and my 2nd FET was BFP but I began spotting 10 days after the transfer and miscarried at 5 1/2 weeks. My 3rd FET is scheduled in a couple of weeks and I am thinking of using Progesterone injections instead of the gel. I know if I see any spotting at all (which the gel can cause) I wll stress out and think that I will miscarry again. So, I am trying to avoid any spotting and stress as well.

Any thoughts on this?
Spotting is common and probably had nothing to do with the miscarriage.
Progesterone injections and gels both work well.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
On all of my pregnancies, I have only used Progesterone shots. Ever since it worked on my first pregnancy, I didn't want to change. But, my clinic now, will start with the shots, then after your first ultrasound, if baby looks good, you can switch to other forms of progesterone...
I did vaginal inserts with my fresh cycle which resulted in a chemical pregnancy. With my FET I did injections until week 10 and my pregnancy is going great. You get used to the shots. I also got a rash from the inserts, so I prefered the injections.

Thank you all for sharing your experiences. I have a friend who also spotted using the gel so they switched her to the shots for her second IVF and she had no spotting during that pregnancy. I do know that progesterone in general can make you spot and realize that it may have had nothing to do with my miscarriage. My thought is to make this next transfer as stress free as I possibly can so I am choosing to use the injections this time around. I just don't want to be spotting and everyone rub it off as being from the gel because this is what happened last time.
I have had different experiences: my first pregnancy I had no spotting and have a healthy son AND my 2nd and 3rd pregnancies I had spotting and both times I miscarried. So, this is my rational anyway. Thanks for listening...
