Sonya, it seems like you have some great embryos! I saw the pictures and they look fantastic!! Good luck with eveything!

So, I went in this morning for another u/s and bloodwork (after 6 days of stims) and she only saw about 8 follies. I am not happy and am starting to worry. Last time they retreived 14. I know I have a few days, but I am still nervous. I have been trying to do everything right and am starting to lose hope. She said my ER will either be Friday or Monday. I guess there's still time. My stomach definitely hurts and I can feel them. Who knows! I go in again Wednesday, so we'll see. My bloodwork came back good. My E2 was 1045. It sounds high (I don't know what is normal), but the RE did not call me with any worries.

Good luck to the rest of you!

LOL Sorry! Those are not actual photos of my embies but ones the same grade so I imagine they are close.... You know I only had 8 measureable follies on day six - it's all on the right side of my blog. I understand that canadian E2 measurements are different than American. It sounds like you are doing great. I didn't really start feeling the follies until about day 9 or so. I am glad my stimming is over, looking back it was quite a waiting game. Not that it's over - I still have tonight and tomorrow to get through until ET.
I think you'll do great.

Hey everyone!

Well we triggered tonight and our egg retrieval is scheduled for Wednesday morning. Not really sure how many eggs we are going to get since I am a slow stimmer and have low ovarian reserve but we know we have at least 6 they are positive about and a possible 5-7 more so we are still in the waiting game!

Shermy19- hang in there i know how it feels about the eggs. It will all work out and you have plenty of time left! According to my ER they usually grow 2mm each day.....

DandMe- I see you are playing the waiting game until ET! Good Luck with all of that. It sounds like your eggs are in really good shape!

Hi there! Awesome on the trigger - kind of like a 'no turning back now!' feeling for me.... after the ER I felt helpless - it was so out of my hands... They only thought they'd get 15 from me and they ended up with 22 and all of them were mature. I'm hoping you get great numbers! My blog has all my stuff on it - don't worry about my ER - I think it was exceptionally er.... painful. compared to what i've heard from others. LOL

Well now I have been busy very much with my inlaws still with us here so have preponed all the things which I had postponned for ET and rest.

Hey sonya belive me people travel all he time after ET my friend was doing treatment in another city and she came back after her ET and voila she has a 4yr old son with that. Keep your fingers crossed its gonna work.

Hey sarah you know what its really normal to have follies that size cos you are doing good, but your E@ should be 1500 as my re said at the time of ER I donno about there.

Sruppe dont worry I had 8 retrived and 6 mature but only 5 fertilized and all freezed. All the best with your ER. Stay positive.

Rest of you all pray for each other

jeandawga- Im so sorry to hear you had a bad experience. I had originally wanted to transfer 3, just so we had a better chance of getting atleast 1 baby, and the dr talked us out of it and we put in 2. After thinking about it, Im glad we did only put in 2. I actually cried during the ET, just becasue it was such a beautiful thing to watch. MY husband is deployed so my best friend came with me and she was able to videotape it for me, which I was so greatful. When is your 1st beta? Mine is feb 9th. Oh and it is totally ok to vent! We all are hear with open ears :) Good luck to you!

I have been a bit out of touch and since I have been "gone" so much has happened!

jeandawga...wow, there is nothing like adding stress to an already incredibly stressful situation. It sounds like you handled it well and in the went forward with what you were comfortable with. I am so happy that the embryo was so strong and can't wait to hear how it goes for you.

sruppe, it sounds like you are on your way! I am much behind you all (I start Lupron tomorrow) but it has been SO helpful to watch all of your journeys and prepare myself for what to expect. I am hoping for the same side effects on Lupron as I had on Follistym (general moodiness). Good luck with your ET!

Lauren-your Beta is coming soon (although I am sure it feels like FOREVER!). I am crossing my fingers and hoping for terrific news!

Shafs-I hope your time with your in-laws is going as quickly and stress free as possible. Congratulations on the free freezing by your doctor-that's awesome news!

Sonya-is the progesterone still making you feel yucky? As I told you earlier I also suffer from low progesterone, so I will be doing shots as soon as the egg retrieval is done. Are you taking a pill...I think you said you are taking it vaginally...which is always...er...pleasant! Did you have the ET yet or is that today/tomorrow?

Sending everyone great vibes and hoping for good news from you all!

Lauren,

Okay...I apparently had you mixed up with someone else...sorry! I have no idea why I thought that you were having your Beta on Feb. 10th. I think that we are going to be pretty close in our cycle. I start my meds tomorrow-isn't it funny how you just want AF to come so that you can get started! I know EXACTLY what you mean! This is my first attempt, so I am really (aside from following this message board) in the dark about what to expect...and REALLY not looking forward to the progesterone shots! I will be able to get local anesthesia for the ER, so hopefully it won't be too painful.

Good luck with everything and I hope AF visits soon!

Hi Molly,

The two things I was most nervous about were the ER and the progesterone shots, and both were much easier than I expected. We bought some oranges for my husband to practice the progesterone shots (apparently oranges are similar to the feel of a human butt!). I ice up the spot, I barely feel a little pinch, and then make him massage it for a little bit afterwards. Then I use one of those microwave heating pads on the spot for a little while. Good luck!

It seems like everyone is right on track. Sonya, congrats on all of your nice embryos. When is your ET?

Update on me... I went for u/s and b/w this morning. She said everthing looks great! I have about 12 follicles right now (more than a few day ago...yeah!). I have to go back in again tomorrow morning and will most likely have my ER on Saturday. Getting excited (but nervous too). Me E2 was 2350 today. I feel really bloated so I'm ready to do this.

Good luck to everyone. I love to here your updates, so keep them coming...

Hey Ladies.... this is such a cool little thread...

So the ET went great - we tranferred two 4AB Blasts... the clinic said they could not ask for better results and are cautiously optimistic. I hate that they are so cautious but I suppose they have to be. Details in the blog.

Sounds like things are happening for many of us.. I hope we ALL get great news in February...

Hey

Post by sruppe »

ER was today! We got 7 mature eggs out of the 13 folicles I had. RE was really please with that number due to our situation, but I was hoping for more....now we are playing the waiting game again and will get the fertilization report tomorrow. ET is scheduled for 2/8 as long as everything is okay.

Sonya- that is great your ET went good! Did your RE give you the option to use EmbryoGlue? Did you use it? They gave me the sheet about it today. They say clinical trials have shown to increase implantation rate by 34% but it is still a big debate on whether or not it does with different RE doctors.

Shermy19-good luck! It will be here before you know it!

Hang in there everyone! Lots of BFP's to everyone!
