Thanks gi. very nice to hear from you. Where is the polyp? Hope everything goes well for you. Between my 2 ivf's they found 2 cysts in my left ovary which was taken out. Will keep praying for you.
Faith: I have heard good success stories on the circlage. At least you will now have the comfort of not worrying about your cervix. "Hang tight"...is probabily a right word made for you!!
Def: We had planned similarly as we had to pay out of pocket. We had thought of doing 2 only. In the first one we couldnt freeze any fertilised eggs....in the second we were able to keep 3 for future...May be it will be less expensive if no retrieval is involved
Gi- Good to hear from you! I've been following you on the IVF board. Good luck to you this cycle, I just know that this time has got to work!
Faith- I just talked to you the other night, but how's the cerclage holding up? What kinds of things have you been doing to stay occupied?
deftones- I don't know. I think we're planning on having 1 more, I've always wanted 3, but I have no idea what even having 1 will be like, let alone 2, so I guess we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. I do have some embryos stored from my last cycle, so we'll just keep those on ice until we're ready to use them again someday. We'd need to get a bigger house first!
Lucky- Are you in the states? If so, how's it going? What city are you in? Any luck with the fetal heart monitor?
May- Any kicking from your little ballerina yet?
AFM- We painted and wallpapered the nursery last weekend and my mom is just heading over there now to touch up a little bit. We're getting the carpet installed in the next couple of weeks and from there we'll finally be able to put together the furniture and move it in there. It's getting exciting! I've been feeling pretty good lately too. I weighed myself this morning and i'm up 15 pounds. I've really been trying to get a ton of good food in me, like fruits and veggies, but for some reason, protein is my nemesis! Meat just does not sound or look good to me and I have a hard time shoveling it in! Have a good weekend ladies!
deftones- I love Grace! We're going with Charlotte Grace (because I like it) and Bradley Mark (after my dad and his).
I had a dr. appt. yesterday. I had been feeling all kinds of pressure and lower back pain over the weekend, so they ran a fetal fibronectin test where they take a swab from your hoo-ha and it can tell you if you will go into labor in the next 2 weeks with 98.5% certainty. It came back negative, whew! Dr. said it was most likely the way the babies are laying particularly the boy who happens to be dancing on my cervix and bladder because he's breech.
I thought I posted a few days ago...but it looks like it didn't show up.
Last Wednesday, My bag of water ruptured for Baby A. I went straight to the hospital and into Labor and Delivery. The day was horribly scary. I was having contractions every 3-5 minutes and bleeding alot. They think that the lower water level effected the placenta and caused a slight abruption. By the night time, the bleeding had slowed down and the contractions had almost totally stopped. What a miracle. So now I am here in the hospital till delivery. I'm still bleeding somewhat. They have given me blood 3 times. My contractions come and go and I am being monitored very closely. Most people will deliver within 7 days of a water bag breaking and today is day 7, so I feel extremily lucky. Another women on this floor broke her bag 6 weeks ago and is still here! We had a Bio-physical profile done yesterday, and the babies all scored perfect. Baby A's water level had even increased and is now normal again...low, but normal. Every day brings them closer to having a good outcome, so I'm just doing everything they tell me and letting everyone take care of me. My husband is being amazing and keeping track of everything I can't. Two friends and my Dad came in from out of town to help and I am feeling so loved and greatfull today.
i've been checking the site frequently b/c i was worried about you. i'm glad to hear that things are going well so far. sounds like you're doing everything in your power to take care of your girls. the same thing happened to me and i made it to 6 days before delivery. so i absolutely believe in miracles reading your story! take care.
My angel is doing a lot of activity inside but as I said she doesnt like soccer.....!!I am going for my GTT in the morning.
I am excited that I passed the 24 wk milestone and now my next one is 27 weeks ....they say that after that there is a 90% chance of viability in case of preterm. Any of you have any ideas about that.
I am back from my trip to CA and the flight was not as bad as anticipated. Actually the way there seemed worse and the way back was very quick, even though it took 11 hours. Maybe it was the movies and constant running to the restroom
I am also feeling a lot of movement from the baby. It is quite exciting, although I do get worried when she becomes so quiet for longer periods. At work, this has been a challenge as she tends to roll around specifically when I am doing something important and it is not too helpful for the concentration levels But then, I only have 7 more weeks until my maternity leave starts, mandatory 6 weeks prior in Germany.
May - I heard at 27 weeks there is a chance of 85% for premies but for some this can happen even earlier depending on their lung and other organ development.

Saturday at 8:15A our three daughters came into the world. They all weighed between 1Lb 7 oz and 1LB 9oz and were 13 1/2 inches long. They are doing AWSOME! They are little but sturdy and so cute and blonde. We are very blessed and can't wait to introduce them to all. Avery Wright, Emily Rose and Leah Evangeline are here and perfect, thanks for all the prayers and please continue! Faith
Faith- Congrats again! How are the babies doing? Are you out of the hospital yet? Did you have a natural birth or c-section? Sorry for the 20 questions, I'm just soooo excited for you! I can't wait to meet them
May- I had my glucose test last night and got a call from the doctor this morning that I failed and I have to go in on Saturday for the 3 hour. I also found out that i'm anemic and need some iron supplements, which explains why my hair has been falling out and i've been so dizzy.
How's everyone else doing? We're almost out of the second trimester, can you believe it? I'm 27 weeks tomorrow and both babies are doing great. I had an ultrasound yesterday and the babies were positioned in a way that the doc thought she could listen to the heartbeats separately on her doppler and when she did, Baby B kicked back at her super hard. Quite the feisty one, she is!
