New IVF'er Feeling Lost In Big Cycle Group - anyone else?

Lol...I sound like an alcoholic in my post!!! I meant that there is always an event such as a wedding where I would normally drink. The first few cycles I did not much at all. With my first ivf I wnt for an ultrasound the day before NYE. The tech said that I would not be triggering that night so at least I could drink. I told her how the nurse said not to and she said that the nurse had to say that. I didn't anyway cuz at that point I was exhausted from so much meds I was not going anywhere.

I started stims last night! First blood/ultrasound is 2/10!!

Hello everyone! It has been a couple days since I have been on here so I thought I would give a little update, I am now 8dp3dt and last night I did POAS and it was BFP . I was so excited!!! It still is 2 days away from my beta on tuesday but my nurse said if i got a BFP on a home test this early then I sure am pregnant. I have been bleeding here and there today which has made me have severe anxiety today, but after church I came home and have been laid up all day! Im getting excited but trying not to get too excited because anything can still happen. I hope everyone is doing great, and Im so thankful to be able to chat with each of you, it helps because my hubby is in IRAQ right now. Take care and oh GO SAINTS!!!

I also had liquid in my ovaries and it ok keep watiching your weight. if you gain more than 5 pounds then make sure to call ur dr's office..

Devan- Wow you are so BFP.. COngrats!! I tried one this morning and it came back PFN. I still have hope for wednesday when they do my first beta test. I really hope I get some good news..

2 more days for my first beta test!!! I cant wait.. Best of luck to all the ladies here...

Devans-congratulations on the BFP! That's awesome news! You will feel better once you actually get the beta results back I'm sure. From what I have heard some bleeding is normal in the beginning of a pregnancy, so I wouldn't be overly concerned about that, but if it persists or becomes heavier I would get it checked out. Congratulations!!!!

DESIRE_270-keep up the positive thoughts! Just keep focused on that beta and I sending positive vibes your way!

I tested yesterday afternoon with concentrated urine and got a super faint line that came up fairly soon but it was questionable for about 30 minutes. I had to take it out of the case and let it dry to photograph it.

I tested again this morning - trigger is 12 days ago... I am 5dp5dt

There was an obvious second line that came up right away. I usually can't get early tests with FMU - I drink liquids in the evenings and pee several times a night. This line is darker than last night's and easy to see... but isn't it WAY too early for a bfp???

I'm so happy to see the BFP's! I am so happy for each and everyone of you. Those that are waiting, I'm praying for nothing but the best outcome for us all.

I had my transfer today. We transfered one embryo that had already made it to the blastocyst (and hatching) stage. They were all ready to transfer two but together with our Dr we decided on one for safety as I have had a pretty big myomectomy last summer. We have 7 excellent grade embryo's frozen and they are watching 3.

Just wanted to share my testing out the trigger drama... LOL I know it's insane but it helps pass the time..

I'm really trying to not read into it, to be honest, I am well aware that this really could be a trigger. But would it still be as dark if not darker?

These tests are all totally unedited..... I've put away the 'hope' for now and am just curious! Am I the only one who thinks the last test is darker?

I am TOTALLY prepared to eat my socks - because I know that this could still be the trigger - so no worries about hurting my feelings or tip-toeing around.... I'm a big girl now! LOL

So, I went for my ER this morning. They got 11 eggs. I'm happy with that. I will know tomorrow how many fertilized. I'm so nervous for that phone call. I am actually in quite a bit of pain. I don't remember this from last time. I've spent most of the day on the couch, but my stomach still hurts. They said I can take Tylenol. I go back to work tomorrow (I'm a teacher), but I know my mind will be on the phone call. I don't know if I'm doing a 3 or 5 D transfer. Trying to stay positive.

Prayers for all of you. It really helps to have this support.

Shermy - Yay for egg retrieval!! I dig the pain post ER. LOL I was soooo freaking sore... my dh wanted to go walking two days after and after about an hour I was grumpy and bitchy and demanding to sit DOWN. Poor guy.

Kind of freaky, but fun... I know it's STUPID early to test, I am only 5dpt... I guess tomorrow will really tell the story. I mean.... it might go away at any time... Just gotta believe it will get darker and darker![/img]

Sonya-I know that there is nothing that anyone can say to take away the anxiety of waiting for your beta. I just wanted to say anyways that I really think your seeing a BFP on these tests. I still see NOTHING on the day 11 strip. I DEFINATELY see a line on the two day 12's. I started testing on 4dp5dt and got a big goose egg, but had lines similar to yours from day 5 on. On day 8 I did a digital to see the words Pregnant so that I was not torturing myself about the darkness of the line. Day 9 beta day was the first day with a dark line! Hang in there girl but I think this is your BFP!!!

I seem to be holding myself in check..... I even got my 19 year old son to look at the three tests (he's so supportive!!) and he easily put the three in the lightest to darker order...

I mean... if they are getting darker that means they are getting more hcg? I mean.. just maybe? And then I give myself a good knock on the head and remind myself to just be patient...

THanks for sharing that you got yours on 5dp ... everyone's been telling me it's impossible!

hi ladies,

just a quick note this mroning while I driv emyself insane... One more day for my frist beta test. I dont feel anything anymore, no preriod cramps nothing, so scared and worried... ONE MORE DAY!!! I hope I dont go crazy.

Let me tell you ladies this 2ww is really hard. This is the hardest part of it all. I will def post tom if its P or N.. Please keep ur fingers, toes and everything else crossed for me. Thank youa nd lots, and lots of blessings to the rest of the ladies.
