I am 37 years old and my husband is 49. I start my IVF treatments on Feb. 18 when I start Lupron for two weeks. I have had an abdominal myomectomy in May 2009 to remove fibroids. I have no biological children. We have been trying for a few years. I live in the Metro DC area. We go to sign our papers on Tuesday. I am quite nervous about medications. I glad I found this site this evening. I was told that we will have blastocyst embryo transfer.

Welcome to the madness of ivf!!!! You should join one of the threads prob. March/April as the girls there are fantastic and the support is great.

Hi I am new to all this so please forgive me if I have no clue what i am doing...I am 38 years old and my husband is 34. I am having my 4th IVF Saturday Feb 13th.I just had a laporoscopy,hysterocpy and a D&C in December. Does anyone have any positive stories for me for my situation.?I keep hearing woman often get pregnant right after the surgery. Also I would love to hear some experiences with failedIUI and IVF...becuase I have certainly been there..!
