Oh this is so exciting!!!
Kala has your OB talked about meds for the m/s? I was on some for a while. I have had several friends take them too. I think it is Zofran, but I don't have the bottle now. I have to say, I think my m/s is done other than occasional hit of sickenss. There was a point where I could not move at night w/o vomiting.
I am actually feeling really good. Not sick and not tired like I was so much. I am going to try to start exercising, but I still seem to lack the motivation for that.
We are going out looking today for baby stuff. Since I run the daycare, I have some stuff, but most is still around from my oldest DD. We need to get a lot of new stuff just since it is very worn. But I will be able to use the new stuff still for work also. I have tons of girl clothes, but having a boy. I wish I had someone I could trade with clothes. Like I could give a lifetime supply of girls' clothes for some boys' clothes. We are going to get new bedroom furniture, since both out kids had hand-me-down stuff.

Iamhopeful Try this website for your crib...

If you can't find it anywhere, it was probably not recalled.

I went on this tangent before...but get only breathable bumpers and nothing in the bed with baby...no blankets, comforters, anything. Register for sleep sacs to keep baby warm like a blanket, but with no risk of covering it's face.

Hi Ladies! Just wanted to give a little whootWHOOT to my September/October cycling buddies. I miss you ladies, too bad we are not all expecting in the same month too so it would be easier to keep track of everyone. Glad to see you are all doing so well! xoxo

HELLO Lisa and Kala (Sarah, right?) Any other July Mommies out there?

I have been checking this site the past few days to see what is new with everyone, I have to admit I read almost all posts for upcoming new mommies and even some posts on parenting after IVF to see how everyone is doing on the other side. It always makes me sad when the July mommies category slips way down on the list which means we just don't post enough! So I am taking a turn to bump us back up to the top :D

While I don't have much to report, I am anxiously awaiting our scan this Friday, praying everything looks normal and hoping we get a confirmation on gender. I think Sarah you are also hoping to find out this week and Lisa around Valentines day for you (although it should not be a big surprise for you, unless it is a girl!).

What else has everyone been up to?

Iamhopeful, How exciting that you are going to find the gender of the baby this week! And I know what you mean by being anxious! Keep us posted!

So, how much are you ladies showing? :) I can get away with wearing pretty loose clothes but DH says he can tell. I am just letting people think I am getting fat for now. I dont know if any of you also feel this way but I think my bump gets bigger as the day progresses. In the mornings, its not so big, I think.

Hello Lisa, Kala and Mo,

Just returned from our appointment and a "GIRL" it is. I think I have said before this will be my 4th girl and my husbands first child (daughter). I think we were both seceretly hoping for a boy, but my other girls are more than happy with another sister. What was even more exciting was that our very detailed 18 week scan showed everything to be normal, which was a huge relief! The next milestone a Fetal Echocardiogram on March 8th to check for heart defects....so another 4 weeks of worry. I wonder if we will every really get to enjoy this pregnancy. The baby weighs 8oz and is kicking and moving all over. I can definatley feel, my husband is anxiously awaiting the day he can also feel it move inside me.

Kala, any gender or other news on your end?

Lisa and Mo - what is going on with you ladies?

I am definatley showing and have been for awhile, I guess when your my age and on your 4th baby you pop out pretty quick.

Hope to hear from some of you soon! Have a nice weekend!

I found out Friday that we are having a GIRL also. Baby B would not cooperate (that baby must have taken after my husband) so we still don't know what that one is.

My twin boys were not too happy about having a sister. They were hoping for two brothers, but I am tickled to death.

Wow! Congrats Kala, Iamhopeful and bjones!! Lots of girls so far. And little girls stuff is just soooo darling.

Iamhopeful, I know what you mean about not getting to enjoy the journey. It does seem like as soon as you have answers to one thing, there is the next thing to worry about!!

Kala, I went and got the band last week too. I really like it so far too!!

AFM - I got my screening results back which was negative. So, that was good. My scan is not until next week so I am already starting to get nervous about that, of course! Other than that, I am feeling pretty good. My energy level seems to have come down again a little bit. I am tired and hungry all the time! :) And I have started showing enough that people are starting to ask me if I am pregnant.

Anybody feeling any movement/kicking yet? After reading a bunch of things online, I have been trying to monitor if I can feel anything. I can feel something occasionally but I cannot tell for sure if its the baby!! Tell me what you have been feeling if you have already started to feel movement inside!!

So I wrote a message here last week, but it didn't show up. Weird! Anyway, congrats on all the girls! What a run. At my daycare we are having a run on boys. We have just had 3 boys born since November and 1 more due in May. I have my ultrasound in 6 days!! I am expecting to add another BOY to the list, or someone’s going be in trouble. haha

If any of you have a Babies R Us by you there is an awesome sale going on right now. Bring in old baby stuff and get a coupon for 25% new stuff. Plus some great coupons too. We are going this weekend and turning in an old crib for $150 off a new crib plus they have a coupon for $150 gift card if you spend over $1,000 on baby furniture. So we are saving $300 bucks. I would never be able to sell that old crib for more then $20. The sale ends 2/20, I think. Check out the website.

CONGRATS TO ALL WHO HAVE JOINED TEAM PINK!!! We can find out the sex next week, but have chosen to be surprised in July.
How much is everyone showing? I feel like I have been stuck in the "looking fat" stage. I can't wait for my belly to really pop out.

Kala,
I am thinking it is not food poisoning, but the stomach flu. At my day care we had 1 kids come a week and a half ago, not even showing symptoms. We now have had 18 people affected with it. 7 daycare kids and 11adults who took care of them. It is super contagous. My DD got it, but I wore a mask and gloves all the time, and I think I escaped it. I asked the OB about it since I saw her the day after DD was sick. She said it woul dnot affect the baby. Just watch for normal sings of dehydration and go to the ER if you get any. My guess is you are felling better now. My DD threw up every 10-30 minutes for 9 hours, but by the next day we begging for food and to play. Good luck. Have hubby watch out and stay away.

As for me...I have larixgitous(sp). I can hardly talk and we are going on vacation in 2 hours. Just checking in before I go. I think I caught it from a kid in my daycare. It is a virus and has to run it's course. I fell fine! Minor runny nose, no worse than my allergies, but I can't talk!

And it is a BOY! We found out Thursday. We got a nice photo to be sure with an arrow pointing to his "boyhood". My kids and whole family are so excited. It means the family name can go on, since this is the last baby of my DH's family. My MIL was in tears for 2 days. It was very important to my deceased FIL that the family name be passed down and everyone expected that was never going to happen.
