Hello ladies,

Just wanted to give you all a quick update on me, after getting my BFN on Wednesday I was so heartbroken. I cried for an entire day and I felt so bad inside but I feel great this morning. A co-worker of mine wrote me a two page letter which by the way just had a baby and I went through her whole pregnancy together. About how I have something she wants and she has something I want. The whole point of this is that we the people always want more or want something someone else wants and sometime we have to take in what we have and let the other things come on there own. She wrote explaining that I have a perfect husband and she would give the world for her child to have what I have at home. A house and a great family but (without the baby). She has a little baby 6 month boy which has no father (looser) and she would give anything to have someone to help her out and worry with her. So the point of my story is that I have something that I didn't know someone else would admire or need. I am truly blessed to have a great hubby that will support me and love me regardless... In good and bad... To the ladies that got BFN, You are truly blessed, remember when you start feeling bad or you start to wonder why not me, just stop and see what you have and appreciate all you have all around you. This has made me feel so much better and I know god's will give me a true blessing when the will of god come my way. Love & God Bless..... To the ladies that got the BFP, I’m so happy for you really happy honestly..!!!! Love Tania :D

Tania, it is great to see you're feeling better!

Sonya - 7dp5dt is definitely early, and those lines are still getting darker - I think you're in good shape!

As for me, as expected, I have a chemical pregnancy. My beta on Wed was 13.8 and now it is at 9.7. Unfortunately, they still want me to continue on the progesterone and take another beta on Sunday. Of course I'm bummed, but I'm glad that this doesn't appear to be an ectopic pregnancy and glad that it should be over quickly. I've seen some posts where the beta really sticks around for awhile without doubling. If it's not a viable pregnancy, I want this over with sooner rather than later so I can move forward. My only worry is that I have some problem where I am prone to chemical pregnancies. Best of luck to all of you!

Hey Ladies....

Desire how are you doing?

Jean I'm really sorry to see that you are experiencing a chemical pregnancy. How many have you had? I had two back to back last year, but my betas were never over 5-7 when I got tested (they were ending, i'm sure)... it's one of the reasons I am a compulsive tester. :)

Do you have any embies on ice?

AFM I had another beta today and it's 54.2... doubling rate is 36.7 hours so I'm pretty okay with that. I just feel bad talking about it when some of us are feeling down.

Sonya- You shouldn't feel bad...everyone is very happy for you!!

Jean- I'm so sorry! At least you have a good attitude...that's important. Best of luck to you!!

Thanks for all of the support. I am trying to stay positive about my poor embryos, but it's hard. I am eating pineapple (hey, if there's a chance it works) and trying to rest. I am already looking at things to try next time (I had none to freeze)...HGH? I'll try anything! Wish me luck...I'll need it!

Sonya. Don't feel bad for talking about your wonderful exciting news. This is why everyone reads these boards! I know I read to get information from people who have more knowledge on this stuff, but more importantly to read about real people who this actually worked for after multiple tries. It gives me hope that one day it will also work for me, and all this crap will finally be worth it! I was so happy to read that you and Katie both got BFP. If the only posts on here were bad news I would quit now, so keep up the happy posts, cuz those of us with unhappy ones want to read them.

Hi [/b]Lyndsay[/b]. Good luck with your upcoming IVF. My husband also had an extremely high sperm count at initial test time. During IUIs still very good. All of a sudden at last IUI it was extremely low. He tested again right before the first IVF...low again. At IVF time, it was just slightly lower than what they want to see so they did an emergency ICSI. For this cycles they got ICSI approved by Ins already in case we need to do it again. You are in the right place, because these girls are very welcoming!

Hi there Lyndsay - welcome to our little board! I know how scary it is to be starting IVF.... I was there just a few weeks ago. I've recently gotten a bfp after my first cycle.... and am cautiously hopeful (getting more so every day).

Desire; it's pretty normal to feel a little jealousy about pregnant women. I try to think of them as really good signs that people get pregnant and babies are born. The more there are, the better my chances are. When will you be doing another cycle? Did you have any frosties left?

Sruppe - that sucks to not get a bfp but I just saw another woman who tested neg at home and got a pos beta. I'll be waiting for your update.

AFM we got the third beta and it was 272. It was a great jump from before and the clinic is happy. We don't get a viability scan until 8 weeks which sucks, but at least my DH will be home. I am considering asking for another set of betas just to comfort me.

Desire: I also get those jealous feelings, more lately. I think it's normal!

Sruppe: Good luck at your Beta...I know it's hard to stay positive. Is this your first IVF?

Sonya: Congrats! You must be so excited!

AFM, I am in my 2ww and having troble staying positive. I try to find success stories from women who have poor embryo quality, but they are rare. I'm a teacher, so I have this week off and a lot of time on my hands. I've been doing a lot of research on things like: intralipid infusion, metformin, human growth hormone, DHEA, heparin. Do you know anything about any of these? I'm really depressed about my embryo quality and trying to see what I can do about it. My BETA is Monday...what is the chance that one ot of six will work? Not hopeful, but will try to stay positive! Good luck to you all!!!!
