Sara - Isn't it so exciting that your donor is starting meds. Time will fly by now. AFM, My sister will be a donor so there will only be one transfer. Hoping we can get ER around the same time. Its no big deal if we are a couple of days off but if it is more then a couple of days, we will have to freeze and i do a FET later on. So fingers are crossed that we can get ER around the same time. Actually hoping for the same day but I think that might be too much to ask.

misocial - I never thought about the insurance helping out. Right now I am trying to get this Dr to speak with the insurance about becoming and in-network Dr. I have thought about telling the clinic to just throw everything at my insurance. They will pay what they want and I could pay the rest. At least this way I would have the insurance adjusted rates. We will see what happens.

bei - I did acupuncture for my last 2 cycles. I started a few months before the cycles but I think you can start anytime. If you are gonna do it make sure you go to an acupuncturist that is familiar with infertility. Also, I would start it at least when you start stims. My acupuncturist would do special stuff when I was on stims. AFM, I started BCP's last week. Should start lupron on March 10 and then stims on march 23rd or so. I think that is right. I don't have a calender yet.

hopeforbabies - I have been on the fortamet for a week and haven't had any side effects. I did find out it was really expensive. I found a coupon on the internet for $23 off. So I took it to my pharmacy, the pharmacy called it in and found that the coupon didn't work if I was using insurance. Without insurance I would have to pay $400 for it. I laughed and just said I would stick with my $35 copay.

rayofsunshine/sara - thanks and I'm happy to pass on PMA while I have it. it comes and goes but after waiting (like forever) to get reapproved by the insurance company, i'm a happy little pincushion. great to hear your donor started her meds! yippee!

misocial - nice car! and i think it's impossible not to be addicted to these boards. i'm going through withdrawal since my job put the board behind the firewall. ugh. i mean, how could they???

turtle0619/franny - a snow day of skiing sounds fun. i've done nothing with snow but shoveling this winter. all our gear is at my MIL's house in Claremont (because it never snows here in Maryland). yeah, right. btw, we never made it up for the holidays...but hopefully we can make it up there for this year's holidays with babies in tow! i'm still holding our play date open!

looking forward to meeting everyone else on the board and getting a great BFP board percentage for us all.

Sorry ladies don't have a lot of time so I'll make a quick post and then check back later.

Sara My clinic is very busy and apparently when we started this process back in Nov/Dec they were already booked pretty far out for the ER. So after doing all my diagnostic BW, U/S, HSG, Saline U/S, etc. They put me on BCP starting back on 1/28. Because they couldn't get me in for ER until around March 22nd they wanted me to have a short break of the BCP. I'm not really sure why, but it had something to do with how long I had to be on them. I would have freaked about the blood type differences too, but your right, what's a couple more shots after all we have gone through.

Chris Wow $400! I think I would have used my insurance co-pay too. Well if I go back to being miserable I'll look into the fortamet and will definately let my insurance pick up the bill.

Marci Hooray for your AF! So what is next for you? Does this mean you and I will have our ER and ET close together still?

just a few things...

marci wooohooo for AF showing up!! jezzz...i know the waiting was horrible! who knew we would WANT AF?? so will you be starting bcp's tomorrow?? on to the next step woohoo!!

libby i did not forget about our playdate...i just wish it would stop being pushed back. but a nice snowy mt. weekend getaway this time next year would be perfect!! we can put our lil bundles in sleds!! hehehe its so nice to dream. i hardly ever dream about "next year when baby is here we can...(fill in the blank)" because ive been doing it for so many years it's made me too sad. But it feels good to let go sometimes and just stay happy in the possibilities!

i just wanted to stop in and let you all know that i am going out of town today for a week. DH is staying at home, and his computer died so i told him i would leave him my laptop...soooo i wont be able to check in very often. i will try to use the hotels computer, but i'm not sure how that will be. i hope you all have a great week...when i get back it will almost be MARCH!!!!!! oh thank freakin god i cant wait!!!!

bei First off I want to say that you totally rock. I can barely keep up with everyone's posts let alone where everyone is in their cycles so thank you for making the schedule. You asked for everyone's dates so mine are...BCP till 3/6, Lupron starts 3/2, stims start 3/12, and ER is around 3/22. Hope that helps and thanks again.

I've done antagonist 3x and each one had a different length of BCP, never did I NOT have AF or few days of spotting after stopping them. Perhaps your nurse thinks you'll only have some quick spotting before stims? And didnt bother to mention it? Always AF or spotting after BCP. This last try for me I had AF then BCP for just 10 days and the damn thing came back for another 3 days! GRRR! I'd be really surprised for nothing to happen after BCP. Unless they'll overlap your BCP and stims? Ask if thats the plan - xoxo

Just a quick update on me and I will do personals later. Well, I am still recovering from my traumatic weekend. I still find it hard to believe it's over. So many people at work knew about it and of course I keep having to repeat the dreaded words, "I miscarried." So, DH and I are taking off to Vegas!! I need the break and I definately need a better weekend than the last one. Vegas Baby Here We Come!!
