rayofsunshine Sara my ivf neighbor.... I am with you on the Katie withdrawl....lol...I am looking for a good saturday yoga class...AF and her crampy cousins are making me a couch potato tonight. Dogs to the vet on Sat and then I am done for the weekend. More snow this weekend... yea... it's been so long.

hopeforbabies Bei is doing all the hard work. She is doing a great job. Behind every great woman is a great woman..hahahahaha I think we will be close cycle buddies dont have calander yet but we are looking at last week of March. Third month,3 is my fav lucky number, green is my fav color, and I am feeling very good about this time.

AFM CRAMPS...OMG....I feel like my insides are trying to become my outsides. I know...I know stop bitching cause I asked for it but really "my" periods dont hurt like this. Ok, so I go in Monday for SnS and if everything looks good.... drum roll.....BCP start Monday. Yea... go team RED

Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself. "Hi!"

Our background:
me- 34 (1 DD, 8 yrs old, conceived naturally)
DH- 37 (no children)
07 & 08- tried naturally, no success
09- 6 failed IUI's (4 w/ Comid & 2 w/ Gonal-F)

This year we are switching to IVF, we began a cycle in Jan, but my body did not respond well to the birth control pills (I made and egg, used Novarel to "get rid of it", then a week and half later I had low estrogen, so they canned the cycle). I waited for my new cycle to begin and thank goodness it began right on time. They started me right up on Follistim on CD3 @ 300. So far, so good. I have had dominant follicle issues in the past, so they plan on using Ganirelix and Menopur later on. I am expecting to have the ER on 2/28 or 3/1 (if all goes well) and then we'll play it by ear for a 3-5 day transfer. I have my worries, but am trying to remain positive!

I hope we get a ton of BFP's on this board and I look forward to getting to know all of you!

misocial I'm glad you got the PMA going and yay for starting BCP on Monday. My fav color is green too so it must be destiny that we will cycle together (and get BFP's). Good luck with the SnS on Monday as I know those are never fun!

Hi Everyone,

I've been following the Jan/Feb thread for a long time and have also been following this one for a while now too. I feel like I know all of you and none of you even know I'm here! Anyway, here is a little about me (from a fertility standpoint, anyway):

Me: 31 (Endometriosis) DH: 33 (low count, morphology, motility)
IVF #1 - BFP - DD born Oct/2008

I'm on day 3 of stims using Gonal-F and go in for my first Sns on Monday to see how I'm responding. My tentative ER is 3/1 and ET is 3/4. My clinic does mostly 3 day transfers, only transfering on day 5 if there are several 8 cell embs on day 3. Anyone else cylcing in Cincinnati?

I found this site after ET in 2008 during my first IVF cycle. I was so excited to find it, but wished i had found it sooner. It is comforting to have somewhere to go - even if it is just to read. Hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend!!

Bei-Sorry the leg is hurting I have no great memories of Lupron (although I injected in my stomach). My biggest issues were always with side effects-headaches, night sweats. Oh, the joys! Hopefully it will better soon for you.

I had my first Lupron shot last night. I was able to do it as my husband watched. I decide to inject in my stomach. I was nervous. I watched a few youtube videos before I did it just to make sure. Although the nurses modeled last Tuesday, it seemed so far away. Welcome DrBoots & heekinje! rayofsunshine, I hope you did not get too much snow.

Tameka and Bei - you will get used to the lupron injections. I did them in my stomach - I heard the leg is painful. What I hated most about lupron were the side effects. I had headaches, night sweats, hot flashes during the day and I was really irritable. Not everyone responds this way though - you may feel nothing!!

I'm looking forward to my scan on Monday - hopefully I'm on track. Keep the updates coming ladies - I'll post again on Monday after my appt. Have a great night!!

Hello all Glad to see alot of new faces and old ones too. Personals later, After waiting and complaining and AF being late, now I am complaining about her. She has arrived with a vengence, and she brought her crampy friends with her. To add insult to injury I think I got a bug. I am feeling very achey an run down. Might be the tremendous blood loss though.... I feel like I've been....
