Risking a first post

Post by Annie »

Hello everyone,
I think its safe to post on here, having just had my first scan at 6 weeks! We saw the heart beat and have our own little blurry blob photo to obsess about. Im so bloody relieved, the last two cycles were positive but I mced the day before this scan , So third time lucky I guess. In fact its such amazing news that I think ill wait a day or two before I start panicing about the next scan in two weeks.
love a delighted Annie (from the March Cycle buddies)
ps twinges and the odd bit of abdominal pain isnt necessarily bad is it???

I would also like to add my congrats you must be over the moon, we don't associate pregnancy with pain do we? but the pains you are experiencing are all normal. Relax and enjoy.

hi annie,

great news on your scan. it is so great to know everything is going well and to see the heartbeat. funny how we are over the scan photo's but it's so reassuring to be able to keep looking at baby isn't it.

the twinges and abdominal pain is normal. you'll be going through body changes already so don't be surprised if you feel them for a while.

Hi Annie

Congratulations and welcome to this side. It is such a wonderful feeling and you never forget seeing the heartbeat for the first time.
As everyone has said don,t worry about the twinges (easier said than done we know).
