Jude - My goodness, I have no idea how you do it all with twins...my world is crazy with just one little munckin :) Cracking up on your finger foods, Audrey would live on carbs, yogurt melts and fruit if I let her. So happy to hear Amy and CJ are doing great, walking and talking so much...ya gotta love it!

Dakota - Happy 1st birthday Gracie!! Just take a deep breath and do as little as possible, let those guests do the heavy lifting :) Audrey is the same with going outside, and she gets really upset when we won't open the back door to let her out to play. It was snowing a couple of days ago (yes, in central Texas!) and she so desperately wanted to go out and play. We haven't had to deal with her opening the safety latches, but she just now started opening cabinets so we'll see.

IMBlessed - Happy 1st birthday Zariya!! I hope the snow slows down for you and you're able to get on with the partying..good thing she has no idea what's going on :)

AdsGirl - OK, I'm totally jealous about the sleeing thing. Audrey will sleep great for 3 days, then something happens and she goes back to waking up between 3-4:30..no idea what that's about. The only sign language we're doing so far is milk, food, more, and all done. I'm so happy to hear your pregnancy is going well, what wondeful news. Hope DH recovers soon and can pick up little Isa, that's got to be a lot on you. Have a fabulous vacation!!

Children - Glad to hear DS is walking and hope all that eating pays off soon. It's so sad to see them get shots, but good thing is they don't remember a thing later on in life :)

Audrey turns 1 this Saturday, so I'm finally getting around to planning the party. Work has been absolutely crazy and DH and I just got back from the Olympics in Vancouver, so I'm running a little behind. I did send out invitations before we left, so that was a good start. We decided to have just a small family get-together, but that ended up being 40 people! We left Audrey for the very first time, and man was that difficult. I cried from the moment we left the house and didn't really stop until we got to Vancouver and were at our first event. She did so great and had a wonderful time with both sets of grand-parents, so I worried for nothing. She started walking the week before we left, well around 6-7 steps, and by the time we got back she was walking all over the house..crazy. Now I'm trying to figure out the whole formula to milk transition, bottles to fulltime sippy cup, and reducing the amount of milk overall. My pedi told me to reduce to around 16oz/day at 1year, but we're only down to around 25oz or so. Guess we'll figure it out, but my goodness would be good to have a detailed plan for parenting :) Other than that I'm on my way to a round of IVF, just started BCP's a couple of weeks ago and start Lupron on the 8th. Hope all goes well this time, as I would absolutely love a sibling for Audrey. Have no idea how parents manage with more than one child, but people do it all the time so I've got to be strong enough to figure it out. I'm hoping I stay as positive as I feel right now, knowing I was already blessed with a beautiful healthy baby girl really helps this time around.

Well sorry for rambling on so long..it's been great to ready everyone's posts and hear all the funny stories..keep them coming.

Hey Everyone!

I am so glad to hear of everyone's birthdays and walking milestones! We are doing well too! Jack is sooooo active. He will not sit still for more than 10 seconds at a time. I think this is why he sleeps so well. He still naps twice a day usually 2 1/2 hours in the morning and 1 1/2-2 hours in the afternoon and is in bed at 7:30. But when never stops when he is awake. He is still very good, but has started to throw fits when I don't let me do what he wants! Face in a carpet, feet kickin! I think we have some interesting toddler years ahead! Jack is about to get his first molar. He usually runs a low grade fever so he gets just a little crabby, but he is a good with teething.
I am gearing up for an FET in April hopefully. I am on BCP and have an appt on the 12th to discuss possible dates. This is our last chance and I have already found and signed up with an adoption agency that we will start with if this doesn't work out. I have come to terms with the fact that I may not ever be pregnant again, and although it breaks my heart, the end result is a baby and I can get one from the wonderful miracle of adoption as well. Financially, it is rough, but we will make it and then we will have our complete family! I hope! Who knows if my itch for babies will be gone after 2? But I think financially, DH and I would like to sometime be able to go out to dinner and not feel bad that we are not saving for our future children. So hopefully our FET will work, but if not then oh well!

Neffi - Good luck with your FET in April, keeping my fingers crossed that Jack gets a beautiful sibling very soon!

We went in today for our pre-Lupron sono, but I have a HUGE cyst and need to stay on BCP's for another couple of weeks to see if it will go away. Have another sono next Wed to check things out, hoping it goes away soon so we can start this cycle.

hey ladies its been a while since i posted. But happy belated birthday to all the march babies and nice to hear that all of your little ones are taking steps and eating good.Mine just turned one yesterday and i tell you i cant believe where the time has gone. Guess working full time and breastfeeding full time makes it seem like that is all i do and time passes. well he is still not sleeping thru the night so i envy you ladies so much. he gets up 3 times to feed. i tried the cry it out thing it dint work for me. cant stand it. that boy cried for over an hour then he makes himself throw up. so i give in and he is fine.
well he is not taking steps but today guess what? he is standing up himself. huraaay to one milestone other than that he is a good baby. not to go on and on about myself. I envy all those trying for siblings wish i could myself but finances are out of the way now. have a nice day and enjoy those little precious ones.

nwquiz - Good to hear from you, time does fly doesn't it?!? I'm happy to hear your DS is doing well and standing, won't be long now :)

Well we finally started Lupron yesterday, it's been a long couple of months getting ready with a couple of cysts, but now we're ready to get going. I'm hoping all goes well with the stims, and if so, we should go in for ER around 4/30. I'm so excited to be trying again, although it's a bit overwhelming to think about having another little one running around. Audrey is so darn busy, hard to keep up with the little stinker. She's getting quite defiant as well these days and shakes her head no at everything! We're still fighting with food too, since she wants nothing but carbs and cheese. Oh well, I'm sure this phase will pass and we'll be on to another fun one :)

Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the beautiful weather!

Angram- Hope all is going well with the meds & the follicles are growing nice for you:) ER should be any day now!!! I hope you let us know how it goes.

Neffi- I hope all went well with FET!!!

We got a bill today for another year to freeze embryo's. We dont have the money to do this nor do we have the funds to do FET so I think we are going to have to let the embryos go, which breaks my heart!!!!!!! DH refuses to dontate them

Gracie is a very busy bee these days. You cant keep her inside!! She loves to be outside. She is SO cute I could just squeeze her until she pops  She does patty cake, which is so great!! She loves to show her belly & pat it when you ask her where her belly is. She knows her nose as well, but that it pretty much it. DH has always pointed to her nose and says "bugger", so when she hears the word bugger she points to her nose  one day we were out and about and she had crap all over her mouth and I didnt have anything to wipe her, so I used her shirt. Next day we were at the store, she was drinking out of her sippy and druled, so she picks up her shirt and wipes her mouth. I felt so embarrassed!!!! lol

Hope all is well with everyone and their LO's. Its pretty desert on her now days.

Dakota - I'm happy to hear Gracie is doing so well, she sounds absolutely perfect!! :) They're just so damn cute that you just want to eat them up! Audrey is the same way about being outside, that's her favorite place to be! She stands at the front and back door and begs to go out. We had ET this afternoon, so now I'm home and resting. DH is very concerned wth having twins, so we only transfered one embie. It was an 8 cell grade 1, so couldn't have been more perfect for a day-3 transfer :) Not sure any will make it to freeze, at least haven't in the past, so really hoping the first time works!! I'm so sorry to hear you may not be able to keep your frosties, but do understand the financial stress this process puts on us all. I wish you guys the best of luck, and very happy you have Gracie to hold and snuggle with.

nwquiz - I hope you're able to find the money for the meds, it is such an expensive process! My age played a major factor this time around and we were doinig 600IU's of gonal f a day, wow it was a lot of cash!! It took double the drugs this time around and we only made half the number of follicles, was very dissapointing. My RE says it only takes one, so hoping he's right :) Keeping my fingers crossed you're able to go another round.

Other than the ER and ET over the past few days, not much else happening other than chasing my beautiful little girl around. She seems to do something new every day, it's so much fun. She's started saying thanky, which is short for thank you :) We're having such a wonderful time with her, watching her grow, and become such a big girl. What happened to those tiny babies we all delivered just a bit over a year ago..wow :) Well I hope everyone is doing well, and I'll let you know the results on 5/14.

Sorry guys.....I have been MIA. We had another chemical in April so we are done. We have moved onto adoption and our home study is almost complete and we already had a birth mother pick our profile. Nothing set in stone yet, she is only 7 weeks, but things are looking good, and if all goes well, I will have another bundle of joy in Jan! We are very excited and nervous...this is a whole new set of emotions, but not as bad as IVF. I am enjoying summer so much with Jack. He is awesome and we have so much fun! He still isn't saying much...I wish he would talk!

Neffi, sorry to hear you had another chemical, but man is it awesome that you and DH has been picked for adoption!!! You hear about this taking years. I am so excited for you!!! Please keep us informed.

Gracie is so much fun! Her favorite thing right now is "uh oh" she knocks stuff over just to say it. She dances like crazy now, really dances, not just to bop up and down. We've been struggling the last 10 days, after her 15 mo shots, she ended up with a dbl ear infection & strep, exactly 10 days later. The Dr said it is very norma; for babies to get illness' around 7-10 days after their 15 mo shots because their body is working so hard on the virus that other things "slip" through.

We are moving to TX!!!! DH company merged and they want him in TX. It wont be until next year, but I am excited!!!

Hope all is well for everyone.

Neffi - Excellent news about the possible adoption, I wish you guys the best of luck!!

Dakota - Great to hear Gracie is so much fun, this is such a great age! Audrey just had her 15 month shots last week, so I hope we don't go through the same thing. She's had about 14 double ear infections in her life, so it would be nice to not have one for a while. Awesome news on your hubby's job, where in Texas? We live in Austin and love it, but I'm a Texas girl so I could say that about a lot of cities here :)
