I know it is early but I am very excited and could not wait to form a group waiting for the May cycle!!!
We went through IVF in Jan 08 and transfered 4 embies. We had a beautiful baby boy in Oct 2008 and we are so blessed. We would like to now give him a sibling. We are very excited and nervous about the upcoming IVF. I hope you can join in!

Hello! I'd love to be May cycle buddies (really it's April/May for me since I do most of my drugs etc. in April! I am scheduled to do an FET in May - lupron starts March 30th. I had a failed IVF attempt last September so I'm hoping this FET will be easier on my body and we will be luckier this time! I had both tubes removed last year, so IVF is our only option for children. I have 5 frozen embies just wating for us, we'll transfer (hopefully!) 2 this time around.

When do you start everything? Good luck / I'll be in touch!!

Riogirl71-- My first IVF cycle was Nov/Dec 2007 and I had my DS on Sept 8, 2008

. We tried another IVF cycle last summer. I got a BFP but m/c at 8 weeks. So we have 4 frosties and I am hoping to begin the FET process late Apr/early May. I actually go for my consulation on Wed (Mar 10). I am sooooo excited. I to want a sibling for my son.

I think I am going to be a May cycle buddie too!! I had my twins in Sept 2008 and at that point I thought I was done - well, my husband said that was enough for him so we were done. Then last week he said he'd like to try for another so here we go again. We are switching clinics and we miraculously got an appointment for Monday so after that meeting I should have a better idea about timing, but my guess is that it wouldn't be before May because the doctor will probably want to do some testing.
It'll be great to have some cycle buddies to go through this with - its been awhile for me. I am generally a poor responder so I am hoping that the long break since my last cycle will help my chances.

HI Kelly m! wow twins and going for #3!!! You are brave!!! Welcome and I am very excited to have you here!

Tryin4#2 looks like we are on the same boat, we are lucky to have a son and want a sibling! We can go through the madness of IVF while careing for a toddler!!! Welcome!

Mcfarland - welcome! 5 frozen embies waiting for you, that is great! I never went through a FET (I wish we had frosties but used them all) so it will be good to hear about your experience. I am sorry First IVF didn't work, it is such a crazy numbers game!

Hi May Friends - some of whom were also Sept '08 friends (so it seems!).

I had my doctor's appointment today and am feeling really good about it. I am not sure whether I will end up with a May cycle but I'll stick on this board until I firm up my plans. Right now the doctor has ordered a slew of tests. Funnily (or not so funnily) enough some of the tests I've never had before - even though I did 9 founds of IVF in the past. Anyway, my RE told me that there is a test that can test my eggs to see whether they are less than ideal, and a test to see whether my endometrium is receptive to implantation. So, I am having those done once my next cycle starts, which will be the end of March. My husband is having another DNA fragmentation test done and then after that we'll meet with the RE and decide our plan. If we have all the results and can fit in an appointment by late April I may be okay to start then and therefore cycle in May but who knows. I kind of think that may be hopeful and that I should be looking at starting in late May for a June cycle. Who knows. But I am feeling like this RE wants to run all the tests to see if there is anything that can explain why things haven't gone as smoothly as we were told it would, and then from there decide how to proceed. Plus, he said that since i had a c-section, that he is going to make sure that everything healed correctly and there is no scar tissue inhibiting my success. This guy is fantastic!!! I am so glad that we decided to give IVF another go and that we are going with this new clinic. YEAH!!!

How is everyone else doing? It sounds like we have a few upcoming FETs which will be great! Riogirl, are you doing a fresh or frozen cycle?

Hi kelly, good thing this RE is being really through! I have an ultrasound scheduled for next week but right now I am waiting for darn AF! Please send me your AF vibes!!! I have been breastfeeding for 17 mos and just stopped, took pills for 5 days to get AF and now just waiting......... My boobs hurt like crazy from weaning!

That AF can be such a... When you don't want her she comes early and when you want her to come she takes her time. Hopefully she comes knockin' soon!!!
I remember weaning from breastfeeding and it killed! It took much longer than I thought it would for the milk production to stop. Hope that the soreness subsides quickly!
Riogirl, when are they thinking you are going to start your cycle? Or will they tell you that after the u/s next week?
Tammy, only a few weeks until your FET. Yeah!!!

They said 5 days after taking 5 days of provera and today is the 5th day!!!! Come on AF!!!!

I start meds on April 27th and I think ER and ET are first week in May, I got triggered pretty early last time. No frosties so I have to do a fresh cycle. But I don't know what to do if AF doesn't come!
Yes, my boobs hurt quite a bit. And still have milk, so I think I make more when he cries or tries to grab on to them (I try to distract him with yogurt melts! How long did you bfeed your twins for? I miss it but had to stop to do IVF...
