Good morning ladies,

Sorry I didn't post yesterday...DH, dog, and I went for a drive to New Hope, PA for the day to walk around and shop since it felt like spring out!!! It was so nice and made me so excited for spring/summer!!! I just got back from SnS and while I want to jump up and down and tell you I got an 8 (well actually a 7.75 but they round up!!!) I am still being cautious because I know that Tuesday is the true test to see if my lining stays nice and thick after starting PIO!!! Please everyone do some dances for me these next couple of days and I will keep up with my visualizations and PMA!!

Franny-I LOVE that you also made it so that you have something to look forward to on Wednesday along with me!!! yikes for your tongue issue and I hope it clears up soon!!! Less than 2 weeks left on BCP's!!! xoxo

Katie-WHERE ARE YOU HON!!!??!! I am so worried and hope that you are just really tired from being preggers and nothing bad...please check in ASAP!

Libby-YAH for trigger last night!! Good luck tomorrow and fingers crossed those small ones caught up and you get quality embryos.

Sarah-You are PUPO!!! Keep us updated on how your ET went!

Lauren & Sara-sorry for your BFN's...I was also on that thread so I have followed your stories and I'm so glad you both are jumping back into a FET...as for someone that also just did that it is SOOO much better on the body and mind. Good luck and I hope your f/u apts go well

miner/Chris-Congrats on being PUPO and having 3 put back in!!!!! fingers crossed and hope you get your BBQ dinner soon and that DH feels better :)

heeks-YAH for being PUPO and I also eat pineapple every day because it can't hurt right?!?!? Good luck with the 2ww and hopefully I will be right there with ya ladies in a few days!!!

babyluv-Good luck today with your ER and let us know what happened with your lining. From one girl to another with thin lining I know how stressful it could be and it seems like you have such a great attitude/outlook!!

kim-hope you had a great weekend and get your thinking cap on cause I BETTER be PUPO this Wednesday or else you may see me go CRAZY!!! haha-

xoxo

Hello lovely ladies

I've officially gone from enjoying being a bum to a stir-crazy loon!!! I have watched a lot of bad tv, movies, and slept a lot

Kim-I hope you are enjoying the family time. Who came to visit? Do they know you are doing IVF?

babyluv- You triggered today, right? Yeah!! I hope the lining is catching up as it needs to. I have my fingers crossed :D

heeks-How is it going? Are you on total bed rest or "light" activity? I'm thinking of you :D

Franny-How was the birthday party? Sounds like you found the perfect gifts-my DD still loves bubbles (so do I!) I teach 2nd grade-I have thought about how I've struggled with having children while I work with them. Ironic? I have met a lot of people on these boards that teach too. What kind of Oscar foods are you serving? I might have to catch a plane to come watch with your family, my DH won't watch so I'll be alone high-fiving myself when I'm right.

miner-I'm so sorry your DH has been sick-is he any better? My DH has been wonderful-I told him to get used to it as I would expect 9 more months of this!! I have watched a boat-load of TLC (gotta stop). I haven't seen the show you're talking about but I think it is for the better  Only a few days til beta-Yeah!

gi-You're preggo?! YEAH!!!!!!!  I am SO EXCITED for you!!!! I'm cheering you on mama!

sarita-I'm so sorry about your BFN-We never like the reasons ladies have to join us on this board but we are glad to have you join our "family". Best of luck this time!!

Libby-Yeah for trigger yesterday. It really is about quality not quantity. You will get those best, beautiful embies soon.

Lauren-I'm so sorry about your BFN. We welcome you with open arms and will cheer you on this time! Only BFPs

Marci-My friend, I have enslaved my DH for sure!! He has been great. My DD went to a friend's house for the weekend just so I wouldn't feel bad being a total bum. I am missing her like crazy!!

Claudia-Your drive sounds awesome-I am so excited for spring. I feel like this is the endless winter. Your lining is 8-WOO HOO! Great news! I will dance all day tomorrow to make sure it stays that way.

AFM- I am laying around soaking up the pampering (and going a little stir crazy!) We transfered 2 embies. My uterus was a little extra curved so RE had to use a different catheter that hurt a bit more but otherwise it was pretty easy. Two embies made it to freeze ( 4 didn't :( ) I just hope we don't need to use those soon. My beta is Monday 3/15. I am thinking of you all-thanks for all the kind wishes/words!!

Keep the faith

Claudia - YAY!!! You made it 8!!! Awesome!

Libby - good luck tomorrow! I totally agree with the quality thing. The last 2 IVFs I had 20 eggs, most fertilized, and still didn't have good embryos by day 5. My friends with fewer eggs did a lot better (both had BFPs). My RE said some eggs just aren't meant to be stimulated.

Franny - Also curious how the party went!

Congrats to all those who are PUPO!

AFM - had ER today and they got 11 eggs, which I was happy with. I knew it would be less than the 20 I previously had in the past (that's what my RE was going for, to hopefully get better quality), but I was going to be happy with 10 or more. Now I'm just praying to get a good fertilization rate and good embryos. Definitely doing 3dt this time, as it's after 3 days they start to fall apart. Can't hurt being back in me, right?

The REALLY good news is that my lining went up to a 9.8 (or 9.6...I was pretty out of it)!!! YES!!! I guess the Estrace they gave me to take vagi-pop style worked.

I am so happy that a dear college friend (along with her DH and DD, who i about 10 months younger than my DD) are coming tonight for a few days. They actually leave Thursday morning, so I'll have plenty of distraction until transfer on wed. I am also thankful ER was today and not tomorrow, since I have been on the couch all day with a heating pad. I actually feel ok (first IVF I was ok, last one I was in writhing pain for a few days), and I think it's because I had 1/2 as many eggs as before.

And SUPER thankful DH is home. He got in last night from a little boys trip to Vegas. Had they started my stims on time instead of a day late, he would have missed ER!

Hello Everyone,
My DH and stepson just got back from Norfolk area to look at engineering programs at a college. It was great to get away from my minor cycle delay. DSS is a senior. I appreciate all of the comments of encouragement. As I read each person's comments, I am grateful for the support and encouragement and know that it is nice to know that there are people who are able to communicate and understand the IVF journey.

babyluv: congrats on ER! I pray for good fertilization rate and good embryos. Also glad your lining is improving. I hope you have a great visit with your friends.

rayofsunshine: I work in education too. I used to be a special educator but now I am a special education administrator who help schools and teachers.

gi: congratulations!

sarita and Lauren: welcome!

Libby: Congratuations on trigger! I pray you have great quality!

claud662: I am dancing for you! The weather was nice hear in MD and VA too.

heeks: Thank you for the advice. I will take each hurdle and hopefully their are less along the way. You are right. One day at a time is the best way to go and will reduce the anxiety or nervousness that comes. I have faith that all will work out for all we just don't know the time. I pray for all in the IVF cycle on this board. I just started this journey but I am so inspired by all on here. I am trying to get better with posting. It is very therapeutic for me. My days or often long. I am able to read posts but not always post as quickly as I wish.

Hi everyone!
Add me to the list! lol Looks like we are gonna give it 1 more try. Some of you may know me (I recognize some names)...I've been here off and on for a little over 2 years now.

After 3 IUI's and 1 IVF...we were blessed with little Zachary in Sept '08. We put back 3 embryos (3 day) and got 1...so we will put our remaining 3 (5-day) frozen embies back on approx April 5th, based on the fact that I should start my period on St Pattys Day, March 17th.

I called our clinic the other day and apparantly they have changed their protocol from lupron and estrogen...and a 53 day cycle from the 1st day of your last period....to no lupron and just doing estrogen pills and building up your lining...and putting them back in on the 19th day (5 days after your ovulation at 14 days...since they are 5 day embies). Hope that makes sence. lol So no lupron shots...yayy! I hope this works, though. A little nervous about it. The 19th day is Easter...so I am guessing they will do the transfer on Monday the 5th...though, I'm not completely sure...so will call tomorrow to ask them. We are suppose to host Easter this year...so I sorta need to know for sure. lol

We've decide that this will be our only FET chance at a sibling for Zach....so I'm really scared, but excited to finally get this show on the road and complete our family.

I will need to do some reading to catch up on what everyone is doing and where everyone is at so far...so personals next time. Good Luck to all! =)

Happy Monday morning to everyone! Looks like we all had a busy weekend. :)

Kim My DH and I ended up working on our garden for 9hrs on Sat.. Whew! The ground was just horrible with lots of rocks and grass, but we got it finished. We put in 3 types of tomatos, lettuce, bell pepper, yellow onion, brocolli, and canteloup. I hope you enjoyed your time with your family. Do they live far from you? Do they visit often?

Babyluv How are you feeling after the ER? Congrats on 11 eggs that's great! :D When will you get the fertility report? When is the transfer?

Heeks Congrats on being officially PUPO! What are you going to do to stay busy during the dreaded 2ww?

Franny Sorry to hear you've had such a rough go with the BCP. :( I wish I could speed up time and make those last 15 day fly by. It is starting to warm up here although it has rained the last two days. I guess I got the veggies in just in time. My bloodhound's name is Boomer. He is a big, stubborn beast but I love him. Piper sounds like he has been a good loyal pet. You may want to ask your vet about giving him Glucosamine Condroitant (sp?) for his joints. May help him feel better. Hope you enjoyed your red carpet night!

Sara Hope you got lots of rest this weekend. Two transfered and 2 for frosties I think is great!I cant wait for the 15th so I can cheer your BFP!

Chris/Miner Its great all 3 made it to you. I hope your DH feels better soon so he can pamper you. Wow! 3/14 is just around the corner. Roll on BFPs!!!!!

Sarita Sorry for your BFN and remember its ok to cry no matter how long its been. Just take the time you need but don't lose hope. April will be a month of blessing for you.

Libby I hope you get tons of eggs today. I am praying everything goes well and we will be hearing from you soon!

Lauren Welcome! Sorry to hear about your BFN but glad that you will jump right back in. Seems like you got some nice PMA going. :)

Claudia Yay for the 8 on your lining. I am doing the lining dance for you right now. Glad you and your DH got some time together. The drive sounds nice and I'm glad it was perfect weather for you.

TammyS Welcome! Sounds like you have had quite the journey. I hope this FET blesses you with a sibling for you DS.

giI have been lurking on the Jan/Feb board just reading all your stories. I just wanted to say I was so happy to hear about your BFP! :) :D  I know that you had so many attempts and it wasn't until recently that they figured out what was going on. How wonderful that you were successful. It gives me and so many others hope.

Marci Girl I'm hoping to hear that you got some serious R&R in this weekend. Did you and DP do anything special this weekend? Is your nurse back this week so your work load wont be so heavy?

AFM - Nothing new to report. Just trucking along with the Lupron waiting for my SnS on the 12th to see if I can start stims. Hope everyone had a great weekend and I'm sorry if I missed anyone. Thinking of all my IVF buddies today!

Good afternoon Ladies!!

hope you all enjoyed the Oscar's last night-a little boring if you ask me but I LOVED Sandra Bullock's dress!!! She looked amazing :D I got the call scheduling my FET for 1:00 Wednesday but I know that tomorrow morning is the TRUE test if I move forward or not so I am wishing and praying that I get to continue to Wednesday. The cancellations are far worse than the BFN's for me so I am really hoping I get that opportunity to be PUPO!!

Libby-thinking of you this morning and I hope you are feeling good!!

hopeforbabies-your 2ww countdown to begin has started!!!

Sarah-how are you feeling today?

Got to run to a meeting but I will check in later!! :D

Hi everyone!

Supergenius: Good luck today! When you're up to it, let us know how it went! And, yes, I really DO believe that it is quality over quantity!

Lauren: Welcome! How did your follow-up appt go today?

Miner: Congrats on being PUPO!! How is your DH feeling--I really hope you don't pick up his cold. You have stay healthy for your little embabies!

Franny: Are you kidding, I so LOVE TMI stories! Seriously, though. Are you feeling better? Thrush must be so painful!! Glad to hear that you'll have trashy TV this month! How did the party go yesterday---was it awful?

rayofsunshine: Is this your first official day off the couch? The 15th will be here before you know it--only 7 more days!!! Stick embies, STICK!!! Family time was nice--my sister-in-law and her fiance came to visit. We didn't really want to tell anyone about our FET this go-around, but we sort of had to tell them as my DH had to give me a shot while they were here. It was sort of embarrasing, as I don't really know my sister-in-law's fiance that well. We tried to be as discrete as possible, but I'm sure it was weird when my DH and I disappeared for awhile to do the shot. Oh well...what can you do?

babyluv: Congrats on 11 eggs! That's great! Will you get a fert report today? Keep us posted!

Tameka: I'm glad you had a nice weekend. It's nice to take a little break from IVF land! Let us know how your cycle will proceed!

TammyS: So good to see you over here! I think I've seen your name on the parent-after-treatment board? As far as your new protocol, it sounds really similar to mine. I'm also doing an FET without Lupron. I'm taking IM Estrogen shots instead of pills, but our protocols sound really similar!

hopeforbabies: Yummmmmm! Your veggie garden sounds awesome---I've never done one myself (combination of laziness and having NO clue how to do it!). Our family does live far away, we don't have any family nearby. You?

Claud: YAYYYY for a thick lining!! There will be NO decreases, I insist on it (you know, since your lining listens to what I have to say!)! Keep us posted tomorrow!!

Misocial: How was your weekend? Are they still working you to the bone, or were you able to take a breather?

AFM: Two IM Estrogen shots down, and two to go before my lining check on Saturday! Other than that, same ol' same ol'!!

Hi to everyone else I missed! Talk to you all soon!

Hola chicas! ER is done and I feel really not so bad. Took a couple Tylenol for some minor pain, but that's about it. Well, after my pronouncement that I was only getting about 10 eggs seems I was wrong. They got 17!!!
FIrst fertilization report should be tomorrow afternoon. Yay!

Claudia -hurrah for your 8.0 lining! seems like our lining dances worked (which i've been assuming is like a hula dance, btw. it goes with the pineapple theme). also loved Sandra Bullock's dress - that was amazing. :)

hopeforbabies - i am envious you can be planting veggies already! i've got at least a month before i can think about.

TammyS - welcome! interesting protocol your clinic has you on - how do they stop ovulation? or doesn't it matter?

Tameka94 - a break sounds quite nice. best of luck to your DSS on colleges. i am an engineer myself and highly recommend it as a career path.

babyluv - woohoo for 11 eggs! you should be getting a fertilization report soon, right? can't wait to hear about it.

rayofsunshine/sara - congrats for being PUPO sara! you made it! enjoy your pampering girl - you deserve it.

Lauren1171 - so sorry to hear about your BFN. what did your doctor say today about getting started right away?

Franny - thanks for all the good wishes. i am definitely enjoying the end of needles (my progesterone is the vaginal kind - gross but doesn't hurt). :) i'm not leaving you behind, so i'm sure this cycle is going to be the one for you! only a week or so left on the BCPs, right?

sarita28 - welcome to the march/april board. cry away girl, and when you're done (or not done) we're always here for you.

gi - super congrats to you!!! i've been mostly lurking on the jan/feb board and rooting for you! so exciting!

miner_79/chris - WOOT - you are PUPO now!! Relax and let those embabies snuggle right in. :)

heeks - congrats on being PUPO as well!

xoxo

Libby - 17 is great!!!

Claudia - No cancellation this time! How many are you transferring?

Rik - How many will you be transferring?

AFM I just got back from RE. Started BCP today and will stay on it for 2 weeks while insurance approves FET. Once I get AF I am going to be taking estrace 2mg twice per day, and using a vivelle patch every 3 days. They will tell ne at which point to start progesterone, and the transfer will be about 16 days after my period starts. I have 5 frozen, and we are going to transfer 3. The 5 embryos are not fragmented and are all good quality, so hopefully 3rd try is it! My stupid INS only covers 5 cycles, and they count FET as one cycle! I wanted to keep the frozen and go for a fresh cycle, but if there are more than 2 frozen, INS requires them to be used first. Which will be fine as long as this works!

I have officially joined the where did my post go ??? club. I worked on it all morning between patients.

In a nut shell: Great weekend worked outside in yard all weekend when not shopping for bricks and rocks and birdbaths !!

Does anyone remember me whinning about no AF for 3 weeks ???? Well guess what ?? AF showed last night 1 week early, while on BCP...... crappy weak BCP !@$&&*%^^#$ so I was afraid that I would be cancelled or something horrible all night till I heard from nurse this. We are increasing to 2 BCP for 2 days then back to 1 until the 15th. BCP while on AF....huh ???? Anyway, moving on got my calander.... increased Menopur to 150 am and 150 pm. Anyone else take this much ????
why are they increasing the med that burns and not the tolerable one ?? Follistim stays the same till day 7 then switches to Bravelle 300mg a day. And somewhere in there we are throwing in 6 doses of ganerelix.

UURRRGGGG !!!!!
Other nurse back and that makes me very happy.... I need a vacation....oh wait I have a week off for ER/ET enf of the month.
Yea for me.
Personals AGAIN later. Must work to pay for doubled meds !!!!
