Ugh! I had to go to another place to find a baby ticker. For some reason when I changed my date, my old one was too long for the sig? Oh well, this one is cute and funny! lol

Congrats Hope! I totally hear you on the frosties and what to do with them. DH and I had the conversation early on since we had to decide before we even had my ER. We decided to keep them unless we have a successful pregnancy. After a successful pregnancy, we decided to donate. We only want one baby unless we happen to have twins and to dispose of them doesn't seem right. We think they desrerve a chance to survive and we know we don't want to become the Duggers or Octomom. lol So many people are out there who can't have babies with their own eggs and DH swimmers and to pay a donor costs so much. It does feel a little odd that someone out there may end up with a biological child on mine and DH, but at least they have a chance to survive and we give someone who otherwise can't have babies, the greatest gift in the world. Not for everyone, but it's right for us. :)

Hey Stephanie; so glad you are finding a comfy home! LOL Hey I wanted to say... I don't think the other thread was kicking you out - I think they were inviting you over to this one as a way of 'congrats!' . Sometimes things get lost in meaning when it's typed out. You sound like you are doing well. DH and I talked about the remaining eggs, and will most likely transfer them all (we have four frozen, so will transplant three next time if three survive). I just can't wrap my head around someone else raising my biological child I think I'd go nuts, but it's really the same as adoption and I truly admire those parents to do it. Hats off to you two!

ashleyncsu77 - Thank you for the welcome! Yes, I do have my 1st u/s tomorrow at 5 weeks 6 days and then I will go back the following week as well. I see that you are having twins, congrats! I am curious as to what your BETA numbers were...mine were 140 at 10 days past 5 day transfer and then 660 at 14 days past transfer. I asked Ghost and was told this is probably just one baby but according to the internet anthing over 490 at 14 days past transfer is a possiblity of twins, hum. Can you share your BETA numbers with me?

stephanieford - Good luck with your ultrasound on 3/22...keep us updated and we will be in touch!

DandMe - Thank you. I was having a bad day yesterday and with everyone else giving welcomes and congrats, this one person didn't offer any of that, just aked me (none of the other pg girls) if I was posting in a pg thread cause the other one will be closing. So... yeah, made me feel bad. I am sure she didn't mean it that way. lol Just didn't take it very well I suppose. Damn hormones!!!

I know what you mean, it's hard to think of other people raising your children. Who knows, I might be able to talk DH into trying at least one more time even if we have a successful birth. I know there is no way he will go for it though if we end up with twins. lol I would prefer to keep my frosties, but he doesn't want more then one unless it's mulitples. We will see what happens, but as of right now it is donation. :)

ktelise - I know you weren't asking me BUT my hCG was 826 at 14 days post transfer of 5 day embies. DH keeps telling me it's twins, my gut says only one though. Wouldn't that be amazing to both be having twins with only a day apart in due dates. I would like to know Ashley's numbers too to compare! lol

Stephanieford - It sounds like you transferred 2 embies as well. It would be neat if we were both having twins after having our transfer only 1 day apart. We do have one 5 year old son and at this point I have learned that beggars can't be choosers and we hope for a healthy baby and that is all! It looks like BETA numbers with twins go up pretty high at the 3rd or 4th BETA draw but my clinic only does 2 draws if the numbers are doubling good. Before I hung up the phone with my nurse after she told me my second BETA was 660 she said, "I will laugh if you are having twins." (She is also my friend so she can say this). I told her, "you and me both!" So, they must have seen numbers like this with twins is what I am thinking but I try not to think too much into it yet and will know tomorrow after the u/s. I will keep you updated tomorrow. I am anxious to find out anything at this point...

ktelise - I actually had 3 transfered. The one looked pretty good and was hatching, the other two weren't even expanding. If I do have twins in there, I am almost sure it would be identical ones. I wouldn't mind twins at all, just a bit risky for me. I am very short and two babies in my belly would look like Jon and Kate's belly with six! If 660 could be twins, I guess 826 can be too. lol Oh boy! Or girl. If only the days could go faster. I can't wait to hear how it goes tomorrow!!!!!!!!!

hi ladies -

thanks for the welcome, Steph... funny...i have two other friends from this board that both have children close to my DS's age (15-17 mo) both named Stephanie. Guess there are a lot of Stephs out there!!

Ktelise - :) not that you were asking me either... but just to throw my 2cents in... i totally thought i was going to have twins with my DS. at 17DPO, my beta was 1700, 19dpo, it was 3978 and continued to rise on my third, don't recall that one off hand, tho. One of my Steph friends (mentioned above) was 3 days apart from me with ER/ET... her numbers were also high, so we were certain we both had twins (both had transferred two) - She did, I didn't. Those betas are tricky things! I don't want to bring u down, cos I know twins would be fab, but honestly, i was a little bit sad when i found out we had one (not that i'd trade that boy for a gazillion dollars!!!) but for a minute, it was sad. at the time, we thought we would only have the chance to do that group of cycles (we had 6 for 2 - shared risk- and got DS on 3rd try)... but now that we're trying for #2, we decided to NOT try for twins when we found out that our RE recommended a eSET (elective single embryo transfer). ANyway, all that to say... hope it's twins!!! ;)

dandme - congrats again to you, hon! sounds like you are getting more acquainted with your little one(s)! I know you can't wait til US!!!! and I think that the more DH & i think about it, we will probably not be able to bring ourselves to donate... (Sorry Katie  and others) - my DH said the other night, "every time i think about them, I think about Gage" (our DS) and he just can't bring himself to let them go. Honestly, I was relieved... i knew that donating was the only choice I could potentially live with, but really want to keep them... but 5 is a lot, and even with the thaw process, we still stand a good chance of having 3-4 left. I have a friend who has quads, but those are her only children. I want to give them all a chance, and a good life, but I don't want them to be over-crowded either. We really could only transfer more than 2 if we moved closer to my family (5 hrs away) but DH can't retire for another 3 yrs... which actually might work out ok!? but then i think about our ages... quads at 40? whew... could be frightening!!

ok, gotta run. beddy bye calling my name! hugs girls!

Hope644 - Thank you for the information. I always like listening to stories. BETA numbers probably can be tricky and to be honest with you I will excited either way with a singleton or twins. I am not getting my hopes up and am just looking to have one healthy baby of course two would be twice the blessing but either way we will be extatic. I also know that with twins I would have twice the worry during the pregnancy and with a 5 year old at home things would be interesting especially because I work for home. But, we will take what we are given.

We do have 6 embryos all of good quality left and who knows but we may try again for another pregnancy. Not to use all of our embryos but just to have a family of 3 children. Then again, maybe not.

In my gut...I believe that I am carrying only one child and will know for sure tomorrow! I will be in touch and thank you for the information.

Hi ladies - just a quick post before I head to bed. Regarding betas mine were pretty high. At 12dpt6dt I was at 1580 and at 15 dpt6dt I was at 4337. My nurse cautioned me at the time that it might not be twins so I was pretty surprised at our first u/s. The only way I kind of had a clue is that I had no pg symptoms with my DS and this time I was feeling nausea and extreme hunger early on. Now don't take that as a sure sign of twins either - I think it can go either way.

I have been reading every single post for days and not saying much... just really watching... .I have been in such a state of total limbo that I really didn't have anything to report.

Well today is our first actual ultrasound. I am as equally terrified as I am excited. I don't ever remember being this clueless as to what to expect. Everything points to us seeing a heartbeat, but I've witnessed so many women's hearts breaking at this point that I know how quickly things can fall apart.

I couldn't sleep last night, too nervous/excited, and am, of course, exhausted!

I sure hope to continue this journey with you amazing women!

DandMe- I'm thinking of you today and awaiting to hear your amazing results from the u/s. I know EXACTLY how you feel. Tomorrow is mine to check for the H/B's. I feel that we will all walk away with our little bundles of joy, despite the nervous worry 24/7. Keep us posted on how things went. xo

Merri- I don't have any m/s either. Just queasy on and off with smell adversions. I'm more tired than anything and my lower back hurts b/c my right SI joint is off and I can't go to the chiro to get adjusted yet. But it is all worth it. I'll take every little ache and pain for my babies!

Hope everyone is doing well and has a wonderful pregnant day!!!!! :D :D :D

Hi everyone -

Wow you all have sure been busy around here! I had another day of feeling incapacitated yesterday - ugh. Could this be my version of m/s, I wonder? I'm completely exhausted all the time, but yesterday took the cake - I think I was only up for a hour the whole day! How are you suppossed to get things done when feeling like this? I'm not vomiting, but the smell of EVERYTHING bothers me! Wish me luck on cleaning the house today - oh i cant wait to get a whiff of those awful cleaning products -ugh. Its kind of like having to pace myself for when I'm feeling ok and then trying to get things done quickly before I feel like crap again - fun, yes? my boobs which have barely been sore have cranked it up to 10! I slept in a soft sports bra last night. Dont get me wrong, I'm not complaining (ok just a little - hee hee) I guess all my symptoms just waited to show up all at the same time. but it doesnt matter I'm thrilled to be pg at all!

Sonya - I cant wait to hear how your long awaited u/s went today! I cant believe you had to wait such a long time - it will be the most wonderful feeling when you get home today - feeling like a weight was lifted off of your shoulders!

Hazel - Awww, the poor girl! its so hard to have a sick dog - they try to be brave and never show when they are in pain. How is she doing now? I guess she is right back on the antibiotics again - poor Joya! Its hard to get them to swallow all those pills too. My older dog (cassie) is on low dose antibiotics everyday for a recurring skin condition, pain pills for arthritis, thyroid pills for hypothyroid, and now estrogen based pills for incontinence - Whew! So i know all about trying to coax them to take their meds, its an 4 x a day affair around here - sigh. How is your m/s holding up? I think i finally understand what you have been going through - How did you get through it? much love - xoxo

Stephanie Aww you poor girl, they're going to make you wait awhile for your u/s also! Yes, it seems to be like a 2 week difference between ET and how pg we are - its funny isnt it? I was 3 weeks after FET and I was coming up with 5 weeks pg? its been brough up by a lot of women before - but until you get pg - I wasnt paying to much attention to things like that! How are you feeling, mama? I love your ticker!

Karen Good luck with your u/s! I think its tomorrow? I cant wait to hear all about it!

Hope Hi honey! Oh, I'll bet you are really wiped out being pg and taking care of your DS - I hope that you manage to get enough rest. I'll be in the same boat with having no family around to help out - a little scary, yes? Is your DH still on opposite schedule as you? That makes it so much harder. - xoxo

Ashley Aww, they are waving at Mommy already? That must have been a joy to see! How are you getting by?

KTelise Welcome! You can figure out your EDD at IVF.CA. com they make it easier for us ivf girls to get their date - Good luck at your u/s tomorrow!

hugs& prayers to us all! - xoxo

Well, went to my PCM today and she was over an hour late! Turned out to be good for me, since the Army hospital's protocol is to POAS, because she was so late she ordered me an hCG test. I should get the results by the end of business today. Just a few more hours until I get the results. I am hoping with all my heart and soul that the numbers are where they are suppose to be. It would be the little bit I need to make it to the US on the 22nd without turning into a complete anxious mess.

Looks as though I might have a little issue though... blood pressure. It was pretty high today, the last thing I need is to end up with hypertention or preeclampsia. I blame my high BP on the 30 minutes I drove around the parking lot to try and find a spot, just to finally find one and have some idiot soldier zip right in and take it, all the while shaking his head no at me like I never had a chance. I finally gave up with 5 minutes left till my appointment by parking in the grass, jumping a curb that was painted red and said, "fire" on it. It was risky, but after over 2 hours in the clinic I came out without a ticket. WHEW! Lucky I suppose... hope my luck keeps coming!

I can't wait to hear the results of the US's today. There are two girls If my memory serves me correctly who should be posting their exciting stories!

OK ladies - I need voices of reason. So I have been pregnant before and heard about all the things I'm not supposed to eat. And for the most part with my DS I stuck to the "rules". So today I'm at work and had a stressful morning that culminated in not eating lunch until 1:00. My boss and a co-worker were walking to Jersey Mike's so I went with them. The whole walk I was thinking in my head "I would love a cold deli sandwich but I know I shouldn't". Then the other side of my brain was saying "Jersey Mike's is better b/c they cut the meat fresh". So we go in and I'm so hungry that I give in and get a cold sandwich. I did this a couple of times with DS and didn't have a problem - BUT I felt incredibly guilty everytime. So I come back to my desk and eat half the sandwich. THEN, like a crazy person I decide to get online thinking that maybe something will tell me it's OK. BAD IDEA!!!!! Of course all of the medical/technical sites make it sound like eating one sandwich will be terrible. So I throw half of my sandwich away and start feeling nauseous with the guilt. I know that one sandwich will be OK but now I have convinced myself that I am going to have a miscarriage because of my selfish need for deli meat.

I know.......I'm crazy because I knew I would feel this way but just couldn't resist. I swear this pregnancy is seriously driving me to neurotic places I have never gone before.

I know that for many of you this is your first pregnancy but for those of you with kids, did you eat deli meat when pregnant? My older sister ate it all the time until she got pregnant with her third. For the first two, doctors weren't telling women not to eat it.
