Thank you ladies for all your support and kind words. I'm not out of the game just yet!!! The nurse called a little while ago and it seems as though my progesterone levels were a little low and my estrogen levels were a little high. So they decreased me a lot off the estrogen and pumped me up full of progesterone so I still have hope that tomorrow will be a better day!! GHOST also said the fluid usually disapears in a couple days by transfer so I'm feeling hopeful. Just goes to show that my RE's first instinct was to cancel instead of exploring all options. Just shows we still have to be our greatest advocates!!!

I will definitely post tomorrow morning when I'm done with SnS and I'm such a bad friend for not doing personals but it's such a CRAZY day at work and I have to go plan my program for tonight!! Thinking of all of you and reading posts and I promise to catch up when I get a breat

Hi everyone! I just wanted to say hello and check-in to see how everyone was doing today. Not too much going on here - just a little cramping. My stomach is still a little swollen from the ER and I keep going to the bathroom like crazy, especially at night! GRRRRRRRRR. I get such little sleep these days!

Claud - I'm thinking positive thoughts for you! Keep us posted on your U/S and remember that we are here no matter what!

hopeforbabies - how is lupron going for you? You'll be stimming in just a few days now!!!

turtle- one more step checked off the list - ordering meds! Way to go, 1 step closer to a BFP!!

rlk - only 1 more estrogen shot left - that must feel good. I have never done estrogen shots but I imagine it's not much fun. I'm sending lots of postive thoughts about your nice and thick lining!!

dodo - i hope you are feeling better soon!

misocial - i've never taken menopur before but I bet your RE has it under control, assuming you trust him. Just don't be afraid to ask questions as often as you need to. That is your right!

rayofsunshine/miner - how is the 2ww going for you guys? I'm still bloated, getting very little sleep due to the progesterone and the anxiety. I'm also getting up to pee a lot at night. I can't wait for my ovaries to be healed and for the bloating to be gone! Are you guys going to POAS? I definitely will - I can't wait for anything. My last cycle, I got a BFP 9dp3dt. I'm shooting for that day again.

marci - wow, AF on BCP??? i guess everyone really does respond differently to these meds. btw, i have a box of bravelle from an IUI i never did - it's yours if you want it.

sessford/sara - welcome to the board! the 15th will be here before you know it. are you planning to POAS before the 15th?

franny - yep, you called it. i guess i was trying not to assume everything would work the same as last cycle, but it seems to be very close to the same. i am SO not complaining!
glad to hear the birthday party wasn't as bad as you thought.

TammyS - wow, April 5th will be here before you know it! when do you start you meds?

heeks - cramping is good! getting up to pee in the middle of the night, not so good. when is your beta?

afm, i got my day 1 fertility report: out of 17 mature eggs, 12 fertilized! so we're doing really good and will probably do a 5 dt (saturday). the only way we'll do a 3dt is if there's less than 5 embryos on Day 3. as for how many, last cycle the RE recommended 3 embies...which really freaked me out. i got a BFP, but lost it at like 6 weeks and then kept wondering what if we did all 3??? so unless the RE strongly recommends otherwise, i will probably transfer 3. i think there like a 5% chance of triplets for someone my age...

Libby - great report on the embryos!!!

AFM - of my 11 eggs, 5 fertilized and I am doing a 3dt tomorrow. I was hoping for somewhere around 7 (in the past I had 20 eggs with 15 fert, and 20 eggs with 13 fert, but hey, maybe these are better quality), but I am fine with 5. We decided on 3dt no matter what, so I am curious to see how the embryos are growing tomorrow. They generally do pretty well up to day 3, it's day 4 they stop developing properly. Sooo...we'll see.

I've been feeling pretty relaxed about it all, mostly because of my friends in town (and a lot of prayer!!!). They have been keeping me busy for sure. DH is actually out of town the next couple of days, so they are going to help me pick up the kiddos from preschool, take care of them tomorrow, and then another friend is taking them on Thursday until DH gets home. That makes things a lot less stressful during my 5 days of "light duty." Not gonna lie...I think the anesthesia at ER and the forced relaxation time after ET is the best thing about IVF! Oh, and I guess getting a baby too (still waiting for that one)

Im very new, iv started my suprefact injections 2 weeks ago. Lately im feeling very down and anxious , i don't really know why!!!! I'm having bloods next week on the 17th march and my first scan on the thurs 18th. I'm hoping someone here will help me through this. I dont have anyone to really talk to, both my parents are no longer with me, my husband is wonderful but he works hard so i don't want to stress him even more (he's a gp)

Our reason for not concieving is because my husband has a cyst in his testicles so its blocking the flow of sperm.

Hi Ladies,

Quick post...no fluid this morning and as of now I'm a go for Friday's transfer!! I am not out of the woods just yet since I have to go in tom and Fr morning but they are defrosting 4 3dt embryos today and depending on how they look Friday we may also defrost the 2 5dt embies!!

Very excited but proceeding cautiously! Will catch up soon!

babyluv - good luck with your transfer today! how many are you transferring? 5 sounds like plenty to choose from. by the time you read this you will be PUPO, girl!

franca - welcome and you've come to the right place for support. there's alot to learn about the IVF process, what should happen, what doesn't happen and everything else in between. plus there's all the medicines and injections to keep track of...it definitely gets easier though. what is suprefact ? is that something you're taking before the stims?
i would definitely recommend talking w/ your husband about this (maybe just not as much as with us!). once you're hopped up on hormones, it may be quite bewildering for him.

OMG, claudia!!!! that's fantastic! so happy for you and we'll all keep doing our dances to keep you on track!

Hi all,

no real news on me, AF is trying to push through the BCP, but nothing yet. Had a massage, mani n pedi at the Spa yesterday (I had a GC since Nov I just never had the time to use). It was so nice to get away from the daily grind and just relax and not think about wor, the business, IVF or ANYTHINg for that matter.

Hopeforbabies- I am thinking our schedule will be close. My Dr never gives me an estimated date because I tend to get eggs fairly early, so I have never made it the full 10 days on stims! They are going to have me do 450iu Follistim and 2 shots of MEnopur a day and see how it goes. Last month I was on 300iu Follistim and only got 4 (and I think the last 2 were from when we added the menopur), so we’ll see.

TammyS- I was SO lost at first, but like any other new group of friends, the longer you are around, the more familiar everyone will feel! Good Luck with the snowbabies.

Claud622- YAY!!!!!!! Hope the frosties do well 

Heekinje- hope you can get a good nights sleep! I hate having to pee in the middle of the night! Drove me nuts during my PG w/ DD.

Libby- 12 is great! Good luck w/ the ET

Franny: Glad to hear that the party wasn't terrible! Nice move talking to the engaged couple! The weekend with the fam was nice, thanks for asking! We took advantage of the beautiful weather and did a lot outside!

hopeforbabies/Teresa: Lately, my fam comes to us for the holidays because of our little one. He's not the best traveler! That's so nice that you have so much family nearby. You'll be glad to have the extra hands when you have your baby(s) nine months from now!

heekinje: I think I confused everyone about my Estrogen shots---I have one more to do before my lining check but will have to continue taking them every third night if the transfer is a "go." Thanks for your thick-lining positive thoughts---I need them! So you'll POAS 12dpo? When will that be? My turn to send YOU positive thoughts---for a BFP when you POAS (and for your Beta, of course!).

Libby: My lining check is on Saturday, but I'll take your rooting for a thick lining for tomorrow too! That's AWESOME news about your fert report!! YAYYYYY!!! Keep us posted!

AFM: I took my IM Estrogen shot last night, and there was some cloudy murkiness (is that a word?) at the bottom of the vial. I took the shot anyway, since there was no way I could get a new bottle at that hour. Anyway, I called the pharmacy this morning and voiced my concerns, but the pharmacist didn't think it was a big deal. I mean, isn't that the tell-tale sign of bacteria growth? I guess I should believe him, but now I'm freaked out that I have a bad bottle of Estrogen. Ugh. Can you all tell that I always need something to worry about?

kim hi hun! dont you hate that we can find anything to freak out over?? i swear i never used to be so paranoid until i started IVF! i'm glad you called the pharmacy, and they said that it was ok. i would try not to worry about it. if your lining check goes well on saturday (and it will) what is your next step? i've never done FET before so i'm still not sure on the whole process. i'm glad you had a great time with family. it was beautiful here in NH this weekend too!

libby how ya doin? are you getting excited to get those lil embabies back into their mama where they belong? are you planning on freezing the rest that make it to that point?? i cant wait till we can plan our play date!!

heeks i hope you are feeling better. cramping during the 2ww is very normal, but it is still annoying because you are always wondering what the cramps are from....implantation? PIO? effects from ET? ahhhhhhh its all too much! i am hoping they are implantation cramps for you!!! as for POAS...i did it last cycle and got BFN. i dont like those evil sticks. i'm not sure if i'm going to do it this time, because even though i got a negitive hpt, it didnt help with the pain on beta day because i keep thinking i still had a chance. so it really didnt do me any good, and it just made me stress out more. i do have 2 of those evil sticks left in my bathroom....so who knows how strong i'll really be when the time comes! oh BTW my husband is from cincy, and his family still lives there. the only thing he really misses is skyline chili hahaha

afm I GOT MY BABY IN A BOX TODAY!!! woooohoooooo!! my fridge is filled with drugs again! i have a question...i usually only get 3ml 21g 1 1/2 syringes that i use for PIO shots...this time i got those, but i also got 3ml 22g 1 1/2 syringes too, but it just says "use as directed" on the label...i was wondering if anyone knows anything about syringes and what the difference is in these, and what would they be used for? i need a nurse in the family haha i dont know anything about this stuff...even after 3 cycles!

Your not going to believe mw when I tell you that I'm sitting in the waiting room about to get my transfer!!! I know, CRAZY last two days!!!

I was walking my dog and about to go into work at 10:30 this morning and my RE called and said they defrosted 4 embies and two didn't survive and two looked perfect (well one was still a perfect 8 cell and the other lost a cell) and that her and the lab embryologist felt that all my numbers today looked perfect as well as my lining and they don't know what will happen between now and Friday so they want to do the tranfer!!

I literally dropped the dog at home, re-showered, ran into work for and now I'm here! In less than an hour I will be PUPO...FINALLY!

Thanks for all the encouragement and I PROMISE to do personals while I'm resting at home:)
