Claudia, I was just telling DH how the vagi-pops are making me tired, so I can't imagine doing them PLUS PIO! Hopefully it's just preparing you for how tired you will be after a BFP!

Marci, that totally stinks about AF being crazy heavy! But I do know what it's like to get hurt in Yoga. Just a few weeks ago I started Pilates again (only to stop now because of this "light duty" I am on), and my tailbone was just about rubbed raw from all the ab work we had to do. Painful. And while doing some of the yoga moves, I thought my arm was going to fall off. Nice

Miner_79 Chris, you are brave and strong. I applaud you in your quest to avoid the stick. I do think you are right about implantation cramping. On the Jan/Feb board alot of the women who got BFP complained of cramping. I am sure you think about every twinge and flutter, I would be. I hope all your dreams come true. Dont stay away so long I was starting to get worried about you. :D

PS. Eat EGG PLANT.... I heard that somewhere

Misocial-- You are so sweet! Thanks for the word of encouragement. I really need it. BTW what is the brand name of the BCP you are on. My RE swears by one brand. I asked if I could take a certain brand because (TMI) but my boobs are very sensative (tender/sore) to some. He said NO and that they use this "certain" brand for IVF/FET's?? I am sure it has something to do with hormones. Look at it like this, it is sheading all the old stuff to make room for all new and sticky stuff you need for a health pregnancy!
I love EGG PLANT!!! LOL!! Great Idea!
Well I gotta go. Know that I check on ya'll once a day but don't always post. I promise to do personals later.

Hi, Ladies! I have been popping in from time to time to check in on you all but haven't had the time until now to post! I co-own an event planning business and have been very busy with our accountant for our 2009 taxes.....yuck! I'm done though and just have to sign paperwork soon.

Chris and Sara - how is your 2ww going? I am driving myself completely nuts. I think I'm going to POAS tomorrow morning - at 7dp3dt - you never know, right? I need something to look at and analyze - even if it's a blank stick. You guys stay strong though - those sticks can be very mean. I will update you often on my results :)

Claud - congrats on being PUPO! How are you feeling? I can't believe how much progesterone you are on!! I am taking endometrium 3xs per day and I can be cranky and tired. I'm also more emotional than usual but that can also be attributed to this whole process anyway. Hang in there and stay tough! You can do it!!

Marci - it sounds like you are having "one of those weeks". You need a good dinner this weekend and a movie or something. Tell DH I said he needs to take you out :) The bleeding to death is the worst. I had that problem last year for some reason. There were a few cycles that I'd wake up in the morning and thought I had been stabbed to death. A good combo to try is to use the largest tampon on the market and Always Infinity overnight pads. They are as thin as paper but are amazing! Hopfully your weekend will be better :)

Angela - welcome to our group! I hope you feel at home here soon. Everyone on here is so great and you can tell them anything. I look forward to getting to know you a little and being a part of your IVF journey.

Babyluv - yay for being PUPO!!!! Do not think about your symptoms this time! They are different for everyone and for every cycle. No need to drive yourself nuts!! (Better said than done :) )

Libby - How are you feeling? Here's to a great transfer this weekend!! Let us know how it goes!!

I apologize if I missed anyone but am thinking of everyone and sending lots of PMA!!

AFM, I am officially certifiable. I feel tired all the time and only want to lay around during my daughter's nap in the afternoon. That is not like me at all. I've been pretty moody and have been snapping at DH a lot. We have a sitter on Saturday night so hopefully a night off will make me feel better.

So, my last IVF cycle, I tested positive on a digital CBE at 9dp3dt. That day for this cycle will be Sunday. It's doubtful I'll make it until then but we'll see!! I'll keep you all posted. Have a great Friday!!!

Hi all!

Marci-Seriously, what's up with you and AF? You've had a very ugly relationship! Did RE say anything about it? I think the other aches/pains just call for serious pampering and relaxation! Get feeling better soon :D BTW-My beta is 3/15 on Monday (if you want to add it on the list)

babyluv-Glad to hear you are resting and relaxing in PUPO land. It is wonderful that you have so many great people to help out! Take it easy and enjoy (as much as you can!)

miner/Chris-okay, so you've ALMOST convinced me not to POAS! I admire your patience-I am struggling for sure. I keep telling myself that Monday isn't so far away :P I think it is impossible not to read every twitch/cramp/feeling in our bodies but there are so many things that could be making those feelings so I don't want to think too much.

Claudia-bloodwork everyday?! Do you get frequent flyer miles? It will be nice to monitor you closely to catch any concerns early-I'm praying for smooth sailing for you. Enjoy your time with your friends-it sounds like the perfect, needed getaway!

tohavefun/Chris-Your protocol is a little confusing-I took Ganerelix but it was the antagonist cycle without Lupron. I agree that it seems like a long time after AF. We just have to trust our REs know the best method-lots of faith on our part! I am wishing you the best!

Kim-How are you? Any fun weekend plans?

Teresa-Sounds like you are getting on with things-yeah for stims!

Libby-How are things going for you? Saturday is so soon! You're in my thoughts (and I'm still ordering Sat. to come quickly!)

Franca- I echo what everyone is saying. You are on the biggest emotional rollercoaster-you're in good company. We've all had our "ugly cry" moments and thoughts of total despair. We lean on each other to pick ourselves up, restore PMA, and move on to the next big hurdle. The hormone drugs alone are enough to mess with your emotions. Please know that we are here for you-keep the faith and know you are not alone.

heeks-Hanging in there?

AFM-It's the waiting game  I THOUGHT I had patience but it is tough. Luckily, I've been so busy I don't think about it until the evening. 2nd graders don't give you a minute to think  Chris has given me the strength (for now!) to not POAS. My best friend and mom keep calling me and asking "how are you feeling?" I think they are testing me to see if I'll go crazy soon-ha,ha.

Good night ladies! Sweet dreams

heeks-We posted at the same time. AGH-You're going to POAS? Great, my resolve to not POAS might be short lived!! No, I must wait, I must wait, I must wait (just need to repeat it to myself to stay strong!) Let me know how it goes-if you get a positive I might have to "rethink" my plan

good morning everyone!

claudia i'm sorry the PIO is wearing you out, but it will totally be worth it when you get your BFP!! i know it will probably be annoying to have to go in for all of those checks next week, but i think your DH is right. its better to know if something needs to be changed right away then after its too late! all those check-up's will make the week go faster too! so you're going to saratoga this weekend? i was born and raised right by there outside of albany, and i went to collage at SUNY albany. I LOVE saratoga....and a great concert at SPAC!! DH and i have actually decided once we get this baby thing right we want to move to saratoga because we think it will be a fun place to raise a family. i used to work every summer from when i was 16 through college at the race track! HAVE FUN, and look around for a nice neighborhood for me!! as for doing the shots yourself...YIKES! ahhhh i dont even know how i would do that. katie used to have to do that all the time...ask her how she did it! good luck and enjoy your weekend hun! xoxoxo

sara do NOT POAS!! its way way too early for you! it will only depress you and make you sad for no reason!! i'm glad you are keeping busy during the day, but you have to think of things to do at night to keep you from going into crazytown! try your best to stay calm! last time during my 2WW i really drove myself crazy thinking about everything...i know its normal, but it was horrible. i was so stressed out and nervous. i promised myself i wont be like that this time because it cant be good for those embies! so when i'm in my 2ww you'll have to remind me that i just said that ok??

heeks you are very brave to POAS today! just remember though it is VERY early!! those evil sticks can bring down your PMA if you do it too early! good luck though...i am crossing everything that its positive!!!! :D
you co-own an event planning company? thats so awesome...i was just telling everyone how much i love planning events..it would be a dream job for me and i'd be awesome at it! wanna expand your company to new england??? :D
you can keep the taxes though!! i'm glad you are done with them so you can try and relax and enjoy the rest of your 2WW!! hang in there...your almost BFP!!!

libby OMG this feels like its been the longest week for you!! it feels like your ER was months ago hahaha i'm sooooo excited for you to be PUPO tomorrow!!! did you get another update on those beautiful embies?? i am thinking of you always!! woooohooooo!! :D

minor/chris how goes the 2ww?? any symptoms? are you staying clear of crazytown?? hang in there...not much longer till your BFP!!! try to relax and stay calm...i know, i know....easier said then done...i am crossing everything for you!!

marci ahhhhh why are your week days so stressful? you need another shopping/coffee weekend to relax! did you end up ordering your baby in a box yet? only a few more days of those evil BCP's for you and then it's GO TIME!!! :D

babyluv how are you doing? just wanted you to know i was thinking of you!! BFP BFP BFP!! I'm sending you tons of good PMA vibes!! :D

kim good luck tomorrow on your check!! i hope you get to shoot yourself in the tush with PIO very soon! haha
i am on BCP's until the 20th and then i go for my basecheck/SnS on the 26th, and will hopefully be starting gonal-f that night...then the fun begins!! have a great weekend hun!!

franca i'm so glad you decided to join the group! it sounds like you are going through alot of things by yourself. we all know what you are feeling. this IVF world is a crazy one filled with highs and lows. it is the most stressful thing i have ever been though. just try to take everything day by day and cross each thing off your list. i tend to get stressed when i look ahead too far. i have to just live in that day and go from there. it helps alot. i also dont know what i would do without the wonderful love, support, and advice that i get from the wonderful woman on this board!! please know that you are not alone, and i am here for you if you need anything!! keep breathing! oh and i also do acupuncture...i didnt do it the first 2 cycles, but i did it last cycle and will be going back this cycle. let me tell you...it is sooooo helpful! its a great way to de-stress, and keep up those positive thoughts!!! good luck hun!!

afm well...nothing really haha just doing the very slow countdown till i can get off these damn BCP's!! i am excited to be going to a great concert on sunday right by dartmouth college here in northwestern, NH!!
i hope everyone has a great weekend!!

***much love always***

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if it is NOT too late to join?

My dh and I adopted 12 frozen embryos last November and in the beginning of the year I asked my clinic if I could do a Natural FET cycle and they said yes. So I started acupuncture this cycle (45 day cycles) and when my O time came I though why not give a try to my embies since I have so many.

So I called the clinic and told them O last Sunday and if I could transfer some embies now... they verified the time they were frozen and told me I could attempt a transfer Wednesday (2 days ago) and so I only asked to thaw 3 (they are frozen 3 per vile).

So when I got there they didn't tell me how many made it and I was going to transfer one even if there was only one and so they came to ask cause they thawed the first 3 and one died, one was bad and only one was good. So withough asking me they thawed the second 3 and they ALL made it. So we both agree to transfer all 5 cause last time at my IVF we transfered 4 and it didn't work.

So now I am just waiting until March 22 for my Beta.

My situation is a bit different. I have a lot of embies but I am trying to also help a friend who can't cary a child and her eggs are not good. So if I have multiples or anything I would love to let her have one and just be like a surrogate for her. They want lots of children and I would like a little girl (cause I have so many boys) so I would love to share my embies with her but she can't carry them so I want to carry them for her and they could get to know each other like cousins :)

Rlk1- hope you get good news at your appt. tomorrow!!!

Tohavefun08- wow, that is a lot to keep track of! I don’t know anything about the lupron, but I personally usually try to trust in the Dr’s protocol, but when I have a question, I ask.
Like today, my Dr was going to start me on stims tonight, she thought I stopped the BCP a few days ago, but I stopped yesterday. So I am glad I asked! That niggling felling you get, you can calm it with knowledge, so just call the Dr and ask. It usually makes me feel better.

Babyluv- wow, you have some really great friends! What I wouldn’t give to be able to design on the computer for half a day uninterrupted! You keep cozy and let those embies find a nice cozy place to chill for 9 months.

Angelaezra- I wish my Dr would give me a calendar, but I know it would inevitably change, lol.

Claud622- no advice w/ the needle, but have fun! I love SS, so beautiful!!!! I haven’t been there in years, but it is where DD was “made”.

Misocial- wow, that would drive me nuts!!!!! Let us know what the Dr says.
I type my personals on a word doc and then copy and paste. Sometimes it takes me 2 days to catch up, so I edit here and there, but so far I think it’s working for me. Oh and it definitely helps me GTK everyone!

Miner_79- this is why I think a vacation should be mandatory for the 2ww, to take our minds off of things! I too hate the sticks, haven’t seen a BFP in 10 years!!!! Well, except this one time, I went to the Ob/Gyn for my annual and she comes back into the room and asks if any of my meds would come out positive on a PG test. I said “Yeah, I took a trigger shot yesterday!” I almost asked to keep it so I could remember what a BFP looks like!!! 

Heekinje- good luck with the test this weekend. I am going to be thinking of you!!!!!!!!

Rayofsunshine- OMG, Monday will be here SO soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can’t wait for your BFP update!!! 

Tutle0619- I loves the 1 concert I saw at SPAC, what a great place for a show. I think SS would be an amazing place to raise a family, so clean and beautiful up there.

AFM- well I the Dr this AM and they saw NOTHING!!!!!!! YAY, about time! Actually they saw 2 little tiny somethings, but we all think it’s left over from last cycle (we’ll see when the bw comes back). So I go back in on Monday and I will begin 450 follistim and a double dose of Menopur.
Side Story: I ordered my BIAB 2 weeks ago and they sent me 600iu of follistim, now I am not the best at math, but I “think” 600 is going to make me have to take an EXTRA shot everyday!!!!!! Well, I called my pharmacy and the DR and they straightened it all out and swapped the 600 for a 900!! YAY!!
SO far so good, I was SO nervous last night and totally prepped myself for bad news. I hope this gravy train keeps on rollin! Best wishes to all the PUPO girls, I hope you all get your blessings. 

embabies are still doing well, we have 7 at the morula (pre-blast) stage. a few laggers at 8 cell, 7 cell and 4 cell. a couple that haven't done anything since day 1, so they'll probably be gone by tomorrow.
thanks to everyone for making this week go quicker! i can't wait until my ET tomorrow AM!!!

Happy Friday everyone!!!! I hope you are all having a good day and that the sun is shining for some of you (it isn't here in Cincinnati!) I will do personals tomorrow but just wanted to tell Sara NOT TO POAS!! I am the child that couldn't wait to open her Christmas presents and would unwrap them to see what I got and then re-wrap them perfectly so that no one would know. I think my incessant impatience is a genetic disorder of some kind :) I'm going to POAS on Sunday and will let you all know what i see. You can do it Sara - Monday is only 3 more days!! YOU CAN DO IT, YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!
