ARRRRGGGG!!!!!

Okay, now that's out of the way I can tell you all that my ET has been moved to tomorrow. It will be a Day 6 transfer (like last cycle) and we have 10 embabies still going strong. 5 have reached blast stage, but haven't started hatching...so...more waiting for Mom. The next 24 hours are going to be LONG.

Oh wow I don't understand why they would not transfer some now... isn't it dangerous to let them go past day 5 specially if you want to freeze the extra ones?? Sorry you have to wait again dear.

Franca - I'm glad you are trying acupuncture. Let us know how it goes! :)

Marci - OMG, I would be going out of my mind with that kind of AF. I hope the change of BCP helps, girl! The status chart looks great, btw. Thanks again for keeping us updated!

Angela - Thank you for sharing your story. I am very glad to hear you have a different OB now.

claud662 - so what did you decide? personally, the thought of all that driving tires me out just thinking about it. ;)

DrBoots - woohoo for starting stims on Monday! is it Monday yet? btw, i'm also a NY'er (born and raised in the city & LI).

hopeforbabies/teresa - woohoo for starting stims! your protocol sounds similar to mine (though i had gonal-f & menopur...just different brands than yours). let's grow them follies! :D

heeks - are you sure you want to POAS???

franny - ooo, those evil BCPs! another week for you, right? here's hoping it flies by faster than my week. hope your concert doesn't get rained out. dartmouth college is beautiful...

rayofsunshine/sara - are you sure you want to POAS?? hang in there! you don't need to POAS! thanks for ordering Saturday to come quick - now i need just another day longer. :x

rlk1 - how did your lining appt go today? it was today, right? i know i got the date wrong before, darnit!

to_have_fun08/chris - thanks! keep those vibes coming for tomorrow! :) even though you have the wacky protocol, are you excited to be starting? i'm excited for you! :D

babyluv - how are you feeling , o PUPO woman? btw, your friends sound awesome! i love people who clean up after themselves! ;)

Miner_79/chris - one more day!!! have you cheated yet? you get an extra hour ahead to your appt tomorrow, on me. ;)

A sugar bush is a place where you harvest maple water and make sirup out of it. In french it's Cabane a Sucre.
They take the sap of the Maple tree and boil the water until it becomes sirop and then we use it on pancakes and waffles etc. Its a big feast with eggs, ham, potatoes and everything evil you want to get fat. And there are normally horse slay rides and fun outside and inside there is normally music and dancing. And at the end the best part if Maple sirup on the snow that makes toffee on a stick... everyone loves it. It truly is a Quebec thing... :)

Hi ladies!

Wow, I missed a day and there are four pages to catch up on!! Seems there’s a lot going on---YAY!!

to_have_fun: You’d think I’d be more savvy about IVF protocols, seeing as I’ve been through 2 IVF cycles and 2 FET cycles. I read your protocol and there was a lot I hadn’t seen before. Ganirelix?!?(which you explained), Antagonist cycle?!?, Fortament?!? Here I thought I was an IVF pro, but it seems I have a lot to learn!

Babyluv: Yes, it sounds like you have REALLY good friends. Sometimes I wish I let more people know what we’re going through, because I’m sure my friends would be supportive too. That’s so funny that you talked about your DH’s awesome Mac—we’re about to buy a new Apple computer today (our PC is dying—it might not even let me finish this post before it croaks!).

Misocial: Has AF decided to be nicer? Were you able to get ahold of your RE and not the on-call doctor? Good grief, she sounds like a WITCH (your AF, not your RE!!).

Miner: BFP, BFP, BFP---that’s my chant that I’m singing for you when you POAS tomorrow!!

Heekinje: Singing the same chant to you as I am for Miner. Fill us in (if you want!) after you POAS tomorrow!!

Rayofsunshine: I’m doing well—thanks for asking! Nope, no fun plans this weekend---it’s rainy and gross out. Ugh. How about you? I hope you’re doing a lot to make this weekend go quickly so that Monday (and your BFP!!) will get here soon!!

Franny: Ummmm...maybe we should have stayed on the Jan/Feb thread, my friend. Have you seen all those BFPs rolling in? DAMN!! Only one more week of BCPs for you---YAYYY!!!

Secaly: Bonjour, mon amie! Welcome! So glad you joined us! Oooooooh…the sugar bush event sounds AMAZING!! YUM!! Picture me drooling.

DrBoots: YAYYYY!! I’m so glad to see there’s no more waiting for you!! Keep us posted!

Supergenius: ARGH---the waiting!!! Good luck tomorrow and let us know how the transfer went!! You’ll be PUPO tomorrow, my friend! Woo-hoo!

Hopeforbabies: So the stimming fun begins today, huh? Let us know how it goes on Monday!

Claudia: What did you decide about this weekend? What a tough choice! If you decided not to go and need some friends to talk to---WE’RE HERE!! If you went, I hope you have a great time!!

Angelaezra: I literally felt sick when I read everything you had to go through. I can’t believe how negligent your care providers were. I know that this won’t ease the pain of your loss, but is there some sort of recourse you can take against your OB? I’m so, so sorry you had to endure all of that.

Franca: Let us know how the acupuncture goes—I hear it can do wonders to relieve stress! Thinking of you!

AFM: I had my lining check today. My lining was 11.6 with a triple layer (whatever that means!). I’m still waiting for the official call, but it sounds like my FET will be on Thursday!! Please, PLEASE tell me my lone little embryo will make the thaw!!!

Talk to you all later, and hi to all that I missed!

hi kids - hope your Saturday isn't rainy like mine. It hasn't stopped for a long time. It is NASTY outside!! I will do personals tomorow when I report the result of my POAS :)

I just wanted to tell RLK1 why the "triple layer" of her lining was so important and VERY good news....most REs look for a good endometrial pattern in addition to a nice thick lining. The pattern can often be more important that the thickness of the lining. Your triple layer is the best you can have and your thickness is on target too. It sounds like you have a great shot!

I'll be back tomorrow!!

Ok the same thing just happened to me that you ladies have been talking about ... I just made a post and it disappeared. In case it shows up twice, please forgive me!

Libby – so sorry it was delayed but that happened to me also during my 1st transfer and everything turned out great as I got my BFP. Just keep thinking positive thoughts ok?

Helene – thanks for the clarification as I didn’t know what a sugar bush was either. I asked my DH as his brother lives in Canada also. He said I don’t know … lol

Rlk1- believe me, we were so furious and consumed with anger that we seriously thought about suing but we decided for now that we have to let it go to move on with our lives because it was totally consuming our lives. I would like to rethink about it once we are done with IVF.

Heeks - Yes, it has been raining all day up here in the Dayton area also. It's a good day to stay inside! I look forward to hearing your results tomorrow.

rik - you will love the Mac! It took a little getting used to, but I'm totally digging it. Now, I do have to say that Apple's customer service is AWFUL if you don't buy the Apple Care Plan. We had some water damage on our laptop (still not sure how) two months after we bought it, and they were going to charge us $1200 to fix it! NEVER did we have this issue with Dell. Thankfully we bought it with our AMEX, and they covered the first 1K, but still. Other than that, love it.

Libby - I thought it hatched out of it's shell on day 6? Sorry you have to wait though...but it sounds like they are actually doing really well! Prayers heading your way!!

AFM - I am TOTALLY stoked right now because the clinic called and said we had TWO make it to freeze!!! This is my third cycle, WAY fewer embies than before, and NEVER have we had frosties left! I'm praying that means the two they put back are better quality than any before and we have a healthy baby in 9 months! I'm not sure the quality of the two frozen, but they have to be decent or else they wouldn't have frozen them. The clinic had left a message (my parents came up this weekend and DH and I had a morning movie/lunch date), so I'll have to call them monday for details. Hopefully the PMA will help my embies grow grow grow!

Hi everyone...sorry to be MIA...been a crazy week. I just got out my pen and paper and am going to attempt to figure out who everyone is and where you are all at on this crazy rollercoaster ride. By my calculations we have 29 girls?! Wow! We are also going to be the biggest group of BFP's ever, too! :D

Marci/misocial...you're doing an awesome job of keeping up with everyone! How do you do it? If it wasnt for your list...I'd be lost. lol What's up with AF aka the witch?

Claud...your week has been just crazy...my goodness. You are PUPO!!! I am adding eggplant to my list of things to eat. lol Love it!

heeks...I cant wait till tomorrow...praying for a BFP for you! It's raining here, too. It was so gorgeous all week though....that I wont complain.

miner/Chris...Are you poas tomorrow, too? Good Luck!!!!

rayofsunshine/Sara...beta on Monday? Good Luck...I am praying for all of you girls!

secaly...Hi and Welcome! Sugar Bush sounds like something they do here in Chardon, Ohio. I havent been there in years...must go now. lol

rlk1...Your lining sounds great! Your embaby will make it! Just keep saying that over and over. PMA. Hey, is Rlks you also? I'm confused. lol

Franca...I did accupuncture before and I think it really helped. I'm going to do it again...before and after transfer.

supergenius/Libby...Tomorrow will go great...I just know it! Fill us in when you can...but get some rest first. How many do you plan to transfer?

Angela...I am so super pist about your OB, too. Your story just broke my heart. Big Hugs.

hopeforbabies/Teresa...So the fun begins today, huh? Good Luck!

Drboots...Good Luck on Monday!

franny...Have fun at the concert. Sounds like a great time. Keeping busy through this process is a great idea.

babyluv...WTG!! That is awesome! This has got to be it for you!!! My clinic doesnt freeze either...unless they are good.

Sessford...Beta on Monday? Are you gonna poas? Good Luck!

Neffi...Hi! I remember you. How are you? When is your fet?

I know I missed alot of you and I'm sorry. My 17 month old, Zach, is begging for my attention right now. lol So gotta get going...

For those of you missing...if you're feeling a bit overwhelmed with so many people on this board like I am...write down misocial's list and that might help you to figure out who everyone is. I think it's working for me. lol

Someone asked about where I am on my cycle...
March 17...Expect AF to arrive and start estrogen.
March 26...ultrasound...start progesterone.
April 5...FET...hopefully, putting back all 3 embabies that we have left.

I'm not doing anything but estrogen/progesterone/tetracycline. My doc a leading pioneer in IVF with the Cleveland Clinic...feels after years of research...and doing FET's both with and without lupron...that there is no difference in outcome. So as of a couple of months ago...his clinic is back to doing it without lupron. Yayy for no needles...till progesterone! :D

Good Luck to all!!!

Okay ladies, I'll take my punishment! I've been terrible. Been so stressed and didn't want to bring my negativity on the board. I promise that I will read and catch up on personals by tomorrow. I just took my last progesterone pill...RE says that AF should be here about 2 days after I stop the pills so now I'm waiting...I'm sick of waiting....and worrying!!!   Dammit can I get some good news!!!!!! Okay I"m done, lol, had to get that out! I hope that all of you are doing well and wish you all the best! Posting personals tomorrow after I catch up.
