secaly wrote:Babyluv - Wow 2 frosty that is fantastic news so this make it a lot less stressful when you know you have more with one cycle in case it doesn't work. The way it sounds to me your embies seam to be doing amazing... you will most likely get pregnant with those congrats.

Question for you? Why eating Eggplant if you are PUPO... I have been eating pinapple each day since the transfer... didn't know about eggplant?

Heeks/miner/Chris - how can you be so good at waiting for testing boy I will need your strenght. Definitely good luck tomorrow.

Rayofsunshine/Sara/Sessford - You are at your BETA already... Amazing can't wait to hear the results. Good luck on Monday.

Supergenius/Libby - wow transfer tomorrow, I didn't even realise it so exiting... how many do you have to play with?

Tammy - Your post helped me get to know where people were at a lot thanks so much for taking the time... You are about to do your FET with your 3 embies left... good luck girl in the thawing process. My first 3 only one was good but in the next 3 all of them were good so we never know. I hope they all make it and you get your great BFP :) You got to love those new protocole (mine Natural no pills and yours soon with no lupron way to go for technology)

Latrell - Never give up... one day will be the day and you are going to be amazed also. Hang in there and keep it up. Hugs.

And with everybody else starting or waiting to start... hang in there and keep up the good work.

Helene
Wow I am flabergasted that you keep popping up on INFERTILITY websites. I will apologize now to the other ladies here becuase this post is going to be blunt, and quite franky, not very supportive of the particular person who is quoted here. These websites are for people who are having trouble conceiving. You have 6 children and for some reason you continue to attmept to have more even after you got pregnant naturally and then wanted to give the child away becuase it had a good chance of having downs sydrome and then put yourself on a self imposed diet and you didn't care whether the baby was getting adequate nurition. At one point you were selecting donor eggs in an attempt to have a blonde haired blue eyed little girl. YOU ARE NOT INFERTILE YOU HAVE BIRTHED 6 CHILDREN!! I find you disgusting.

WARNING THE FOLLOWING POST HAS TMI
Good afternoon sisters.
I write to you from the confines of my bed where I am to remain today amd tomorrow. When it rains it pours. Cold/allergy better, boil/bite gone. My bleeding as you all know went back to heavy and with clots after the office closed on Friday. Appearently all the tampons in out in out ect irritates a gland called the Bartho$%^ something. TMI this is a gland in the labia majora responsible for lubrcation. It started swelling friday night and by noon sat was painful. I thought I could hot pack it and wait till Monday for RE. By 6pm on Sunday EVERYTHING was so swollen I could not get a tampon in. I already hate pad, and now they hurt to. Took several pain pills determined to make it to the RE on mon. I was unable to sleep as it had grown to the size of an egg and was covering the vaginal opening. So off to the ER we went. The end result after discussing surgery was to try conscious sedation and lance and drain it. I recieved an IV nice bit of morphime to take the edge off. When we began talking about CUTTING it open my anxiety rose to an all time high. Long story short according to my wife and the doctors ( cause I blacked about 45 min of it) legs strapped to bed, being hld down and I still got away. Because of my intense fear and movement they accidentally cut me before they could make the incision. So I wound up wilth three incisions, its more than half gone and Wife says they gave me morphine 5 times and versed 6 times in an effort to control me They just did not understand how bad it hurt. Hot packs pain pills and dr appt on WED. The one really great thing is that the dr who was fnally called.....cause the other 4 wernt gonna do it....is an ob that works with my RE. The drugs are really hitting me today I am awake for 30 min periods then off to sleep. All this due to tampon irritation cause
I was bleeding so heavy. Yes that continues...minus the clots and now minus tampon...did I mention I hate pads.

Marci-OMG!!! I can't believe you went through all that you poor thing  I am sending you all my PMA vibes your way and hoping that this gets straightened out before Friday!!!

i'm not really sure what to make of perturbed's post but my personal feeling is that anyone that wants to join to share their journey whatever it might be has the right and that any support is greatly appreciated. So if secaly has 6 children already and wants more that is her decision and who am I to judge?!?!

Marci – I am so sorry you are having such a tough time! That sounds just horrible … I am praying that you are able to continue as planned. It sounds like we will be going through the exact same cycle as I am supposed to start my stims on Friday also!!!

-I am not sure what to make of perturbed’s post either. I guess I am more shocked than anything because we go through so much stress in our daily lives and this website seems to be our outlet. I guess I just didn’t expect the drama here also. Well, especially since I can’t drink anymore … lol! But, we still can all be there for each other right :?: :!:

I guess the only thing I have to say is that Helene has been very supportive of me and everyone else on this site!

OMG, I go away for my ET and look what happens!
Congrats to our first BFP ladies: Chris, Heeks, and Sara!!! :D :D :D

Marci - egads, woman. your experience on Sunday sounds awful! i'm so sorry you have to go through this, but it sounds like you've got a great wife to support you. i've got everything crossed that the doc clears you this week to start stims on friday! don't worry about the pads (yes they suck) and concentrate on getting healthy & healed. :)

Lauren - awesome that you get to start earlier than planned! april 6th will be here before you know it.

Claudia - yay for good prog. levels! i hear what you're saying about the netti pot - everyone who uses them LOVES them, but i'm still too grossed out by it to try it. you know, your immune system gets compromised while the embies are "setting up shop" so i'm taking your head cold to be a good thing. :)

hopeforbabies - go TEAM PUPO! :D love it and i'm happy to join. glad to hear your stims are going well, though those welts do not sound fun at all. i loved UP, but i saw it before my first IVF cycle...but wow, what a surprise downer of a movie start.

latrell - glad to hear you found your PMA. c'mon AF, let's get the show on the road!!

franny - ha, ha - you are not allowed to use the "T" word! my DH likes to joke about us having trips, but i think the reality of it would freak us both out. still, i'm willing to take the risk. last cycle they recommended we transfer 3 - got freaked out and only did 2. so this time i'm feeling a bit more...um...adventurous.
no flooding for us, though we've got plenty of rain for a while. this week is supposed to be sunny & 60s for us, definitely boasting the PMA even higher (if that is at ALL possible). ;)
sounds like you had a great weekend and you are almost done with those nasty BCPs!!

drboots - yay for starting stims!!! fingers and toes and anything else i can cross for you to get a great response from the follistim/menopur combo. :) :)

babyluv - i'm glad you are getting in some good relaxation for your 2ww. i'll keep my PMA up if you keep your's up! we are cycling about a day apart...do you plan on POAS? i resisted last time & will probably not POAS this time.

hi and thanks for all the nice wishes from everyone else. i haven't forgot about you, just too much for me to keep track of these days (i'm not a super organized person).

AFM, well we did the transfer on Sunday (Day 6 blasts). 3 good quality embies transferred and we had 3 to freeze (so now we've got 7 total on ice)! since the insurance only covers three cycles (assuming no live birth), we are doing fresh cycles while we're covered and if we need to do more cycles we'll have the embies for FETs. i'm feeling pretty good, no super bloating or anything (though i do get tired quick and seem to pee alot). ;)
beta is on 3/23.

thanks for all your support ladies! xoxo, Libby

marci holy crap sweetie!! WTH? i am so so sorry you had to go through all of that this weekend. OMG AF can shove it!!! i am sending you all the get better, and not get canceled dust i have!! (((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))
oh and i bet you coulda given the pizzahut delivery kid one of your pills as a tip! hahaha snack attack!!

i totally agree with marci that the post of perturbed needed to be in the form of a PM. secaly came here for the same reasons we all did...to find support during one of the most difficult things a woman and family can go through. if i remember correctly she is doing ivf to help her best friend have a child...right? that is the most unselfish thing a person can do.
secaly...you have joined this board open hearted, and filled with positive support and advice so i hope you stick around.

Marci - Holy crap!!!!! That's just terrible what happened! I am sending tons of PMA and no cancellation!!

Libby - I hope you are feeling ok after your transfer. That's great that your INS does not force you to use the frosties before fresh like mine does.

Latrell22- YAY for PMA, I hope AF shows up soon, she was a little evasive for me too, came 6 days late and 4 days after stopping BCP’s.

Secaly/Helene- OMG, 60 days!!!! That would literally drive me CRAZY!!! And by the way, whatever reason you are here, you are welcome as far as I am concerned.

Hopeforbabies- OMG, I cried my eyes out during UP! GOOD movie! And I would have lost my mind if the follistim started pouring out of the pen  Glad they ordered another vial for you

Lauren1171- we had crazy rain down here on LI too. We had some water in our basement that came in from the chimney. So glad the ins co OK’d the FET. Why do they have to make everything so hard? Don’t you love when good news comes??!?!?!?!

Claudia- Hope you are feeling better. Good luck w/ the POAS (try to hold out till Thursday tho!!)

Misocial- O M G- that is the craziest thing I have EVER heard!!!!!!!!!!!! I will put in a prayer for you that you won’t get cancelled, I am sure it will heal by the time all the stims and whatnot is over! Take as much rest as you need and let your wife take care of you! Feel better!

Supergenius- YAY for being PUPO. Yup, you gotta make the best of all the insurance hoops they put up. Get some rest and have a great night!

I find it in very bad taste for someone to highjack our thread to try to “out” someone. It should be intended for PM’s.

2 shots down and only God knows how many to go!!!!! Keep up the PMA ladies!!!

Hello lovely ladies!!

heeks and miner-YIPPEEE!!!!! Congrats girls!! I love it, love it, love it   Hum...did you check due dates? Looks like Turkey babies for us!

Marci-My dear, you can't catch a break! I am SO sorry for you  I can't even imagine-I hope they gave you lots of good drugs to manage the pain. I still claim this is a lucky board so you can't be canceled (I've put in the order so it must be!). If you need a little Starbucks this week or someone to help out I'm available (and close by) Rest, relax and get better.

Lauren-It is so awesome that for once in IVF land someone's schedule has moved up instead of back! April 6th isn't too far away  I'm glad the FET has been easier on you and your body.

latrell-If life were fair you and Marci could work out these AF issues (give a little, get a little). I hope she shows her ugly face soon and doesn't cause the drama Marci has!

Franny-Sounds like your show was fun-was it a small show to be in that venue? I watched UP with my DD and bawled the entire time-my daughter spent the whole night consoling me!

Kim-We've had really gloomy weather but luckily not too much rain. I need to move somewhere sunny! FET is Thursday, right? That is so soon (but not soon enough I'm sure!) Are the PIO shots working out better for you? I haven't done one since last cycle-my RE said only to panic if the blood started filling the syringe. The BIAB came with a bunch of band-aids and I was told that was for PIO so they must expect some bleeding. Hope it is all better now!

DrBoots-I've been meaning to ask what the show RHONY is about? I've never heard of it. Did you start stims today? How did it go? One day down...

Angela-You have to be such a strong woman to endure through such trials. Thank you for sharing your story. You will give strength and hope to so many ladies who need it most! I'm sending lots of PMA and prayers that this will be the miracle you deserve!

Teresa-Welts and "fountains" of meds? Can't the stims just cooperate and make life easy, not harder?!?! I'm so sorry :( I hope it goes much better from this point on for you. I still remember when my DH and I had to leave a party, drive 2 hours home just to do stims because I didn't pack an extra vile and it ran out-ahhh, the fun!

claudia-I'm so excited that your levels still look good. POAS on Wed? I have my fingers, toes, arms....crossed for you!!! I agree about the nettie pot-my DH swears by it but I am so grossed out with water up through my nose. He always does it then water leaks out 20 minutes later while he's doing something else-yuck  Love the Guiliana and Bill show but I cried as well. What don't I cry at these days? Did you have a relaxing weekend?

babyluv-I can't believe what you've gone through with your last cycle and DD's surgery. You have amazing strength :D
2 to freeze is awesome-for that next sibling  Hope your doing well on the 2ww!

Libby- 3 beautiful embies! WooHoo! Are your relaxing now? March 23rd is my birthday-I'll wish for your BFP  Take care of those sweet embabies for now!!

Helene-We really aren't here to judge-you have been supportive and we have enough room in our hearts for anyone who needs the support and "ears" through this process.

AFM-My beta # was 261  I have to go back Wednesday morning for another beta-is that normal? Seems soon to me. My first u/s is in 2 weeks. I haven't slept much lately-anticipation? rolling tummy because I can "smell" everything? Not complaining-I'll take it all! Thank you ALL for the support and well wishes-you are the best! I have sobbed reading your posts (shocker!). I know I'm attached-you all are the second I told that I was pregnant (DH was closest to where I tested or you might have been the first  )

Keep the faith! Love ya ladies!

Just wanted to pop in for a few posts,

misocial: I hope you get to feeling better soon. It's called a Bartholin's Cyst if I'm not mistaken. I had one years ago and they are the MOST painful things I've ever had!!!! I had to be put to sleep bc mine got so bad. Once it was allowed to drain and heal though I was fine. I'm wishing you a very SPEEDY recovery! Whoever Bartholin was, I don't like him!! LOL

I would have to agree with the other ladies on the posts against Helene. She is here and looking for support and providing support also. Who are we to judge anyone?? We have been through things and are doing this for our own reasons, no one should chime in on why, how, or who should be trying to conceive. Keep doing what you're doing Helene and ladies lets keep positive and support one another! You're all my extended family! Love you guys!

Marci - I am so sorry about your troubles. What is it that is going on exactly? Are you suffering of allergy or something? There is no way you should bleed so much. This is very dangerous for you let alone your cycle? Is it only the BCP that is doing that? My they got to do something... you really have to becareful girl. So sorry and lost of rest. Please let the bleeding stop my God!!!

I read your other post you are too funny. I am happy you have a little bit of peace and smiles... you are just so funny. Thank God.

Lauren - way to go for starting the BCP early...

Claud662/Angela - thanks so much for your warm note that was very considerate.

perturbed - Yes I have 6 children and mostly boys that's why I am trying again to have a baby girl and helping a friend who can carry for her to have a baby also.

This treat is called March/April cycle and that is exactly what I did. I didn't say "March/April people with no children who are infertile"... My last little one has T21 because I am too old to have healthy babies now... so what is wrong with NOT trying to give another child T21?? I did IVF before I had him and it didn't work so the priest said the Church is against that so I was supposed to try on my own ... so I listen and my little guy came out with T21... now is that a nice thing for him ?? NO... so no thanks I will not try again on my own...

Supergenius - YOu did a 6 day blast... my your babies are already becoming babies :) you will know your results real fast like one week or so ... lucky you!! Plus you froze 3 perfect blasto... boy you will end up with 6 kids just like me girl :) Way to go... It's nice to do fresh while you are covered cause if you need to use your FET you won't be stressed because of not enough snowflakes :) I am so exited for you girl.

Turtle - I want to send you a big hug, your post made me cry (probably the hormones :) You were so sweet... Thanks for not judging you are amazing... God bless you and everyone else here.

DrBoots - Thanks to you too for your kind words and understanding.

I am very happy you are down to 2 shots and then you move on... good luck girl you are gonna do this yay!!!

Sara - Thank you also for your second welcome. You are so cool.

Wow your beta was 261 that is amazing... I can't wait to see your second one, you need it to see if it rises but with those number you have nothing to worry. It's supposed to double each day... so watch those numbers rise... that is a really good nunber... they say anything over 50/100 is great imagine... Way to go girl!!! Congrats again and happy 9 month ;)

Latrell - You too, you are ok with me being here I am so happy thanks so much ladies. YOu are all so nice and non judgemental. I will continu cheering on all of you until you all get your BFP :)
