I did POAS remember. I do it everyday until BETA to see when it will start to show if it shows at all they only cost $1.00 so hey it's fun. I told my kids we can check it out on Friday... they are exited too.

afm...i am going back to acupuncture starting tomorrow! i am excited to go back so i can feel like i'm doing something good for myself! i am also going away for the weekend. my parents invited me and DH to join them in their timeshare on the ct. coast so we are going to take them up on their offer and hit up mohegen sun casino, and stroll around mystic, ct. and soak up the wonderful sunshine they say is coming this weekend! it will be a nice way to enjoy the last weekend before the stims and the stress starts the following friday!!

Hi Ladies,

I posted from the blackberry this morning but it looks like once again it didn't go through That's two posts that have been deleted from the thread!!!! This little head cold doesn't want to leave me so soon and unfortunately kept me up all last night so I literally got 2-3 hours of sleep I gave way to the evil stick and nothing (although I threw it out after a few minutes out of frustration and just looked again a few hours later and there is the FAINTEST line but that might be an evaporation line?!?!?) I know that I'm still on the early side so I'm not letting it get me down just yet!! I told DH and he already thinks this cycle is a negative-he needs to keep his PMA up!!!! I will test again tomorrow and hopefully will feel better as well! I went in this morning for an SnS so I'm waiting to hear back my numbers so fingers crossed!! Today is usually the day I start spotting so hopefully all this progesterone will keep it away!

Franny=I got the PHISH summer tour list and it looks like our dream of meeting up at the SPAC may come true!!! I have to figure out the timing since it is my sister's graduation in VT that weekend so if I can pull driving to Saratoga that Thursday night and then head to VT afterward I may try!! DH is NOT a fan so I have to convince him first!!Only 8 more days and then you can begin to think about STIMS!!!

Tiger-I'm so glad you are back in the game. I totally remember living that horrible day in February when they found no sperm and I'm so happy to hear you are moving on with donor sperm!! Fingers crossed!!

Neffi - I am an adoptive Mommy, and there is nothing like it in the world. Praying this cycle works for you, but either way you will be on your way to child #2. We've always thought we would adopt again, and depending on our this cycle goes (and the 2 frosties we miraculously have), we still may. BUT, hoping you get a BFP and can maybe adopt a third!

Teresa - how was your appt?

AFM - been feeling a little sick to my stomach today and overall weird. Hope it's a good sign, but DS was a little under the weather this morning and hardly ate breakfast, sooo....hard to tell. Historically I start AF 13dper, which would be Sat (kept thinking Fri...darn, a day off), so we'll see...

Well I just got back from my SnS and unfortunately I have responded too well to the stim drugs. I have about 20 follies on my right side and 15-20 on my left side. The nurse said that they may not have to cancel my cycle though which is what is keeping me from bursting into tears right now. She said they will probably treat me like I was a donor egg cycle. They will try to get me to ER and fertilize all the embryos and then freeze them all. So it looks like I will probably be an FET for next month or whenever I get my next cycle.

Nurse said that I need to start sucking up the smart water and eating all the salty food I can to start retaining water. So great now I get to be bloated on top of everything too. Sorry to be Debbie Downer but I feel pretty low right now. Insurance gave us one cycle and cryo of any leftover embies (its also a once in a life time benefit). We don't have the money to try this again. I'm hoping that the FET cycles aren't too expensive as there are less drugs. Anyone know what a FET costs out of pocket?

Teresa - my friend had 35 eggs at ER and since it was her second fresh cycle (with an FET in between), she REFUSED to be cancelled! She ended up with trips and horrible OHSS that sent her to the hospital, but she was still happy she insisted on doing a fresh cycle. Another friend was on the verge with her e2 numbers, but since she wasn't quite there, they let her do fresh and has a beautiful little girl with no OHSS. SOOO...I think it will all come down to what your e2 is by the time you trigger. If it's above 4000, they will probably want to cancel, so we just need to pray that you don't get there.

How were your numbers? Follie sizes? Any idea on when ER might be? I am guessing they are lowering your stims?

Lisa (tiger04): I know all about AF not coming! My cycle was canceled the last time due to poor response to the meds. So I stopped and waited for AF to come, that was Jan…AF was supposed to come Feb 23 and it never showed, so after about a week, my RE put me on meds to kick start AF. Took them for 10 days and AF just started yesterday. The RE thinks that the meds may have screwed up my normal cycle but who knows! If AF isn’t here soon, then just touch base with your RE and see what they say. Hopefully, it comes on its own so you can get your show on the road! Best wishes!

Sara(rayofsunshine): 684!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You should start looking into names for twins! LOL That’s GREAT!! I’m so happy for you! What a blessing to come out with not only one but TWO beautiful babies!! I wouldn’t be upset at all if that happens with me! Keep us posted on how you’re progressing and how your BETAs come out!

babyluv - My E2 on day 3 of stims (mon) was 189 and yesterday was 390. They are going to call me this afternoon and let me know what my level is at and what to do in regards to the meds. Dr. didn't say anything about follie size. He looked at my E2 numbers from my chart and said "hummm higher then i like." Then did the ultrasound and said "well not what I like to see" and told me how many and that only 5% have this happen but with my PCOS he's not surprised. Then he left and I had to ask the nurse if I was being cancelled or not.

At least like you said you had two friend in a similar situation to mine and they both had babies so that's encouraging. Thanks!

Teresa - my e2 on day 4 of this cycle was 392. I ended up with only 11 eggs, 5 mature, but I triggered on Day 7. Sooo...fingers crossed!!
