Hopeforbabies - my FETs cost $2,000 each. But I had NO meds so it's transfer, monitoring (which I did do) etc. It's way cheeper anyways and a FET works better then fresh IVF cause the stress we go through... you will do so good in your FET and they will freeze them all for you... don't you worry you will do great!! You have to heal now and rest and and drink I guess... you can do it girl!!

Claud Sounds like it may be the begining of a beautiful bfp!!!! i cant remember how many days past transfer you are but i secretly tested ( i never tell j as he is a worrier) on 6dp3dt def. negative so i knew trigger was gone then on day 7p3dt and got the faintest of faintest lines you had to hold it near light to see it i didnt even tell j as i knew he wouldnt believe it so i tested again next day and definate line. Sending you lots of darking Irish baby dust xxxx

Teresa - Thanks for the warm welcome! Keep up the PMA and just relax and think positively. You might not have to cancel your cycle. Did you ask them if they could move up your ER and have you trigger tonight? Because, if they moved you up, you would stop taking the stims...however, reading your second post, you should be just fine. I was also at 160's on day 3 and because of that, I went in for day 4 SnS and was up to 500, so then went in for day 5 SnS and was around 800 so they had me trigger that night. I too was a good responder to the meds. You should be just fine. and ask lots of questions and I would call them back and get more information. I think you are just fine. We are here for you!

Gi-thanks for that!! I am also 7dp3dt and as I said before it was the FAINTEST of lines a couple hours later that I also had to hold up to the light so I'm keeping my fingers crossed I get a line in the next day or so!!!

Hopeforbabies – I’m so sorry about your news but it is not over yet. So remember PMA and it will work out fine! When I did a FET it was about $4,000 but I think the prices might be have increased to $4,500 and that is without the meds.

Soooooo, so far so good..SnS on Friday.. They said to take my meds to work with me cause if numbers are good they want me to start Friday am. WOW. That will be fun. I am not complaining, I have been waiting sooooo long. So my first hurdle is over, gotta clear Fridays SnS and life will be goooood !!!!

HOW TO CHOOSE AN OB (not really but it works for me.)
(When the ob walked in the room and saw me she jumped back, laughed and said oh its you, my wife laughed and then she laughed, she asked me how much of the experence I remembered, I told here nothing passed the first 2 local shots, her and my wife both broke into laughter and spent 10 min talking about how sore their arms were from holding me down and how strong and wild I was. She saod we gave you alot of medicine but you never quit fighting... I of course apoliguzed and explained that I was very anxious...she said "off the chain" was more like it. I really like her !!!! I asked if she follows during preg and she said yes, I told her I really liked her and asked if she would consider taking me on after I get preg, she yes provided I dont kick during delivery. I explained that I would be a c-section and she said we have a deal. She also added that she would make damn sure I was numb and happy. Did I mention I really like her !!)

Ok I am off to update the board, my head is alot clearer now and my PMA is high, thank you ladies for you do.

Ok just a quick update. I just got my call from the RE office and they are cutting my Follistim back to 75iu. Nurse said my E2 was at 813 and she said that was "good". I get to go back in for another round of bloodwork tomorrow morning. After reading everyone's posts I feel better. Maybe everything will work out ok. Is it possible for follies to disappear? Also I have to ask tomorrow how he could tell the difference between the new follies and the cysts from my PCOS. Every u/s of my ovaries that I've ever seen they always looked like swiss cheese (ie lots of big black holes). Sooooo which ones are new and which ones have always been there?

Thanks for the PMA ladies! I'm feeling good right now tempted to POAS tomorrow, but specifically didn't buy any tests because I want to wait until at least Sunday. I DO have a test at home, two actually, but not sure which one is a pg test and which one is for ovulation! DD dumped out the boxes long ago, and they don't have "hcg" written on them. So, figured that if I do cave, I'll have to use both. But not yet...not yet...

claudia its still very very early for you to be POAS! dont let DH get down on those sticks! i know you saw a faint line, but it may be a evap line if it didnt show up right away. when i POAS last time i didnt even tell anyone...not even DH, but i POAS a day before i told anyone, and it came up negitive, but then i went back and saw a very faint line...i studied that thing up and down and i swear that line was there. then i POAS the next day expecting it to be darker, and there was nothing! the first one was obviously a evap line.
trust me i am not saying this to upset you in anyway. you know i want nothing but for that line to be darker for you tomorrow, but i just thought i should finally tell someone my big secret. i hope your cold is on its way out the door...its way too nice out to be sick!! i'm sending you all the line darkening dust i can!!! love you! oh and about phish...can you believe they are playing SPAC on my BIRTHDAY, and i will be in atlanta to watch barry be the best man in his best friends wedding?? i cant even take comfort in there being an open bar at the wedding because i will not be able to drink by then damnit!! we are gonna put in for greatwoods in ma. on the 22nd.

Claudia - Last cycle I POAS 7 days after transfer and got no line. I was in a mood all day at work! I hate those things because some ppl get a line at day 7 or 8, and others don't get one even on beta day and still get a BFP. This is not to say that I will not be using one myself after my transfer lol.

Ray of Sunshine (Sara) - I agree with you on the secret wish for twins. I am transferring 3 frosties and my RE said he had to give the triplet warning. He said even though it is a very slim chance he had to say it is possible. He said if it were to happen he would advise doing a, I forget the name, but basically they abort one to give the other two a better chance. DH said we would discuss that if that time ever came. When we got in the car I asked if he would be all for that, because I know he does not want two, let alone three! He said, that was like murdering it for nothing, when you don't even know if there was going to be a problem. I thought that was funny coming from someone who 6 months ago told me he would be happy to never have a baby (he has a 9 yr old DD).

Libby - Yes, insurance companies suck, but if we are covered for this we are very lucky. My ins pays for 1 year of freezing. I have to pay if we want to keep them longer. I never got an ins statement from my 1st IVF. I just received the 2nd. My ins changed after my 1st cycle, I did not pay anything 1st time. This time I have to pay $250.00 deductible for 2010 and that is all. They submitted $8,300 for IVF and $1,500 for freezing. I have a PPO so my ins allowed and paid $5,751 for IVF and $173 for freezing. So they are getting $6,174 total out of the $9,800 they charge and adjusting the rest.

AFM - took last pill today.....waiting for my friend AF to show up soon. If not here by Saturday I will go for blood Sunday or Monday to see where we are at. Last cycle AF did not show til Monday but I started my meds Saturday before that, because the blood test showed things were as they should be. I hope I start my meds Sunday or Monday so the transfer is on schedule. Well, I think this is my longest post! I borrowed my brother's laptop, and it is nice to type on a computer instead of an IPOD! My computer broke and I am getting a new one soon.

gi - I read your post last night and I though that when I test today I will look very carefully in case I might have missed a very faint line like you. So at 4am I tested and nothing...

I though Oh my God! This is bad... I wanted to help these little embies have a chance at life and I was not even able to help them. Then I though what abour the 6 remainers... I can't go and get them next cycle and just have them die on me... I was so sad and lost.

So then I decided to look harder... I looked under the light and I think I saw a very very faint line!!! Then I looked again and still see it. I took a picture, let me know if you girl see it too?



Then I looked at the one I did yesterday that was in my office garbage (paper recycle) and I saw it too. Never saw it yesterday. Boy do we need good eyes. So anyways all of a sudden I got so exited I started shaking... and my heart started beating so hard... I never though I would feel this way about a FET cycle when the lo are not even mine... Like totally overwelmed.

Now I know I am NOT out of the woods, there the BETA, then the US, then the chance of MC and then maybe it will still be ok... but hey a line is a line and so I will continu testing everyday and see if it gets darker... I will test with my kids when I know they will see the line. Oh and I am 8dp3dt for those who want to know!! So that's my news for the say.

claud - so you too have a faint line so that's is great news. So I guess me too yesterday was 7dp3dt and it showed just never expected it so didn't see it. Good luck with your other tests. And your line I think is a BFP keep up the good work.

angelaezra - AF is finally here way to go girl you can finally start your cycle... I am so exited for you.

and yes I did have a job interview (phone) but I wasn't what he was looking for so I passed along my co-workers so they might get the job. BTW I already have a fulltime job until NOv so not to worry. I am just trying to find a job to do at home in case I get twins.

misocial - just wanted to say that not too much iron is not really bad. My iron level is at 18 and should be around 70 but I was able to carry my baby even with that... still don't know what SnS means?? So you are starting on Friday way to go girl!!! The story about your OB is great...just so funny!!!

hopeforbabies - yes follies can disappear, the body re-absorbes them it happened to me while doing med cycles and they were failled ones. I am sure the OB can see the difference between follies and cysts... not to worry. I can't wait to see how your cycle goes girl... keep up the good work.

babyluv - I can't believe they didn't write on the test somewhere what the test were I mean don't they know we just take the box off cause we get so exited... I can't wait until you test... keep us posted praying for a BFP for you too!!!

turtle - sorry about loosing your line dear, but your turn is coming girl we are going to cheer you until you get your strong line and your BFP... and sorry about you not being able to drink that is a drag...

Lauren - yes I did an FET with NO MEDS... I decided to start acupuncture early and like do it for 3 months and then do my FET but after doing acupuncture all this cycle (45 day cycle) one morning I woke up and though oh darn I don't want to wait another 6 months to do my FET so when O came I though what about trying it NOW!!! I mean I think my body is ready and I wanted to try no meds... so I called the clinic with my O and they check the freezing day and said yes you can do it... So there I am... !!! Good luck girl with your 3 frosties... it's gonna work ... I don't think you have to worry about your triplets idea... they normally don't all make it... I also hope you start Sunday or Monday and get your transfer on schedule... way to go AF show up!!!
