Katie -- I did pick up "What to expect when you're expecting"! So I've got some reading to do! How was your birthday yesterday? Did you do anything special?

Karen -- LOL... still no symptoms from me. How's the spotting? Hopefully gone!

Stephanie -- Any more bleeding? I hope not. How are you feeling? Did you ever get your answers as to why you were bleeding? I don't have a good guess from what you said, but I'm so happy you have two healthy babies growing in there!

Ktelise -- I'm glad you posted about waiting for sore breasts because I don't have them either (I mean not any more sore than they were on the progesterone alone).

Gi -- Welcome back!!! I'm with you about not believing I'm pregnant until I see something. I cannot cait for the u/s! The 29th will be a good day for us. I'm sorry about the evening sickness. I haven't felt sick yet. What do you find helps?

Ronda -- Well it's not that I want to be sick, I just don't feel pregnant. I am very bloated with mildly sore breasts but that's it. It's concerning me! I do hope you are feeling better.

AFM -- OK, I'm STILL feeling great. Played tennis not too strenuously on Saturday and had a great time. DH was off this weekend and we ran errands and hung out a lot together. Hopefully everybody had a great weekend too!

Hi everyone -

We had a nice quiet weekend for a change. It was like spring, finally all the snow has melted and I'd like to never see any more! Unfortunately it just makes you remember all of the warm weather chores that never got done last year - ahhh, I give up. I spent all day yeasterday pretending that I didnt just turn 41 - yikes
my DH got me a kindle - yay! So that took a while to get the hang of, then went out for dinner which was nice since we havent done that in a while. The m/s is back again today, but I cant complain since i've just had 3 normal m/s free days - what can you do? I dont really "feel pregnant" and its sounds so strange when my DH says things like "when the baby comes" - its still really hard to believe. I'm patiently waiting to get released so I can finally see an OB - maybe then it will feel more real? I cant imagine my RE NOT releasing me when I see them next Tues 30th - I mean how much longer can we wait for my progesterone to rise? I think he doesnt like to release pts until their doses have been lowered, but in my case - who knows how long that could be? ha ha

Steph Good luck with your RE today, I hope you get lots of your questions answered - its so frustrating to have questions that most likely wont get answered satisfactorily, isnt it? How are you feeling?

KTelise For me, my boobs really only hurt alot between 7- 9 weeks. Now the last few days not at all. its completely normal for pg signs and symptoms to come and go - normal yes, but still frustrating, especially when you're waiting for that u/s to make you feel more comfortable.

Gi Evening sickness is sure better than all day & all night sickness. When will you get the results of your latest Chicago b/w? How did your last drip go?

Ronda Thanks! And a very Happy Birthday to you tomorrow! Do you have anything special planned? Which one will this be for you? Whew! for your DH pitching in with your DD's party! Smart man!

Ashley UGH! I'm sorry to hear that you're having such a rough time! its hard enough to function with a headache - I cant imagine how hard it must be to be held hostage by migraines! you poor girl - I hope they subside! I wouldnt worry about not showing with twins - hee hee soon you'll have a hard time to even see your feet! I hope that you're not working too much, or too long hours. Those little guys must be taking alot out of you :D

Lou Dont you worry - those signs and symptoms are coming! The book says m/s starts around 6 weeks, but mine didnt - actually nothing started until 7 weeks (and all at once!) You should just enjoy your last week(s) of feeling normal - I hope that you dont get slammed with them all at once, though! 5w5d is still really early and I know that you cant wait for that u/s - but I'm telling you those signs and symptoms are on their way! How was your weekend?

Hazel Did you have a fun weekend away? How was the golfing? How have you been feeling?

hugs & prayers to us all - xoxo

Evening ladies,

lou no my evening ms isnt that bad at all just slight nausua and i get the shakes if i leave it too long before eating, acutally scrap that if i dont eat every 2 hrs i get shaky, i am not the biggest food lover normally just eat when hungry so its really strange to feel the need to constantly eat j loves telling everyone how much i am eating!!!

Katie what in the name is a kindle??? and what to you do with it? Glad you had a nice birthday cause next years will be hectic!! I reckone i will be in labour and still saying "am i really pregnant" it just so hard to believe after all these years and so many setbacks but wouldnt change a thing. I dont have to get the bloods done for another 2 wks just to give the last drip a chance to work i would say they would have the results within a couple of days of doing it but hopefully all will be well and i wont need another session not that its hard or anything just the fear of knowing that the cells are still high and i will be around 9 wks by then nearly same time as my last 2 lossess!! But PMA this pregnancy is going to work :D

Ronda sorry to hear you ms is in full swing, mine is very mild in the evenings but i dont think i want to start vomiting only cause i am on so many meds for these damn cells i want them to stay in my system!!!

Steph how are you today??? Hope all is ok and the bleeding has stopped.

Ashley those migranes sound awful i feel sorry for you but congrats on the belly "popping" sounds cool.

chat later ladies

Hey mommies! Hope everyone had an awesome weekend.

Katie - You turned another year younger, so how's it feel? lol For some reason since I turned 31 I still have to think before I answer how old I am to people otherwise my response would be 30. It's like my mind doesn't want to admit I am getting older. Then again someimes I just tell people I am 29... again. ;)

AFM - Of course I was nervous as hell going to the RE, DH reassuring me that everything will be ok. Sure enough it was. They saw two good heartbeats and DH got to see them both and even hear them. He was bouncing of the walls. Both babies measured to be 7w0d so they are growing nice for twins since a few days ago they measured 6w5d. I took the pictures of the other u/s and the RE saw the bleed was still there, but said it is very very small and of no concern. He did say it was a subchorionic bleed and does not think that I miscarried a third baby. THANK GOD! Though I am losing my symptoms, my boobs feel better and no more morning sickness. Not sure why that is, but I am not going to kill myself over it. I am still going to continue to rest until I know that bleed is GONE! I am drinking lots of water. They took my estrogen and progesterone levels today wanting to make sure it isn't low and I will go back in a week to have it checked again. If everything looks good at that time, he will consider lowering the doses to wean me off. I think that's about it! I am so releaved! Thanks to everyone for putting up with my rants. lol :D

Stephanie - You and are 1 day apart with our pregnancies and due dates and I also seem to one day have symptoms and the next day none. I have gotten to the point that the night before last I told my DH, "Remind me that I have a terrible headache, am dizzy, and feel ill" when I am wondering where my symtoms go. :)

I have had 2 u/s and go for my 3rd on Wednesday so I can't wait. My husband had a dream that when we were at the doctor's office he told her, "my wife would like to come every 2 days for an ultrasound." ...ha, ha, ha. Actually, true but this won't happen of course!!!

It seems like everyone is excited to be released to their OB but I have to say that I will miss being able to call and get in to see the doctor at a drop of the hat. We do have 6 more embryos frozen but I don't know if I could do this all again and I am not getting any younger...this will be our 2nd child and I feel this will complete our family, but we will see.

Take care to all!

ktelise - Funny you have to tel your husband to remind you of your symptoms. lol It's funny to complain that I am feeling better so I won't. :) I still get tired but that's about it. I have to jump through a few hoops to be able to go to my RE's hospital. He is one of two RE doctors, two embryologists and one nurse in the OB/GYN side of the hospital. So as long as I get my insurance to aprove me to go there for my OB care, I can still see him. We have 5 frosties left and now that we are having twins we are definately going to be done so we will be doing donation. Some lucky couple out there might have our blonde hair blue eyed babies. lol It's weird thinking that is possible, but better for us knowing they have a chance at survival. That's just us though, I know not everyone feels the same way. :)

Katie,
today is my 39th b-day. Ugh, how did that happen? Time has really flown! dh came and took me and oldest dd to luch today, so that was nice. No trip to TN anytime soon. I have to save my time for maternity leave. We will get to TN sometime, maybe next year. That is cool that you and dh got married there.

gi,
Just tell j that you haven't even started to really eat yet!. I'm guessing now its just a little bit, frequently during the day, just to keep the queasy feeling away. You do what you need to, I sure hope you don't start getting sick. You do have too many meds to throw them back up! Less than a week until u/s, hurray!

ktelise,
I wouldn't worry about the symptoms coming and going. That is pretty common. I'm glad you will get to see your little bean again on Weds!

lou,
girl, you are a machine! If someone told me to go play tennis, I think I would barf on them! I think that is great and I hope m/s stays away from you. 6 more days until our ultrasounds!

steph,

how are you feeling twin momma? So has it really sunk in yet for you and dh? Bleeding all stopped?

Hope,

I really hope your Zofran is making a difference for you. I broke down yesterday and called RE nurses, I was so sick. So now I am also taking Zofran and its helping some, at least taking the edge off so I don't feel like I have to wear a trashcan around my neck! Thinking of you!

Ashley,
Sure hope your migranes are gone! I have had a nagging headache, but I cannot imagine how bad you felt!

Hi girls! Sorry I have been MIA, but it's been rough & I couldn't bering myself to come back until now.

After my horrible bleeding episode at 8w 1d, I continued to spot/bleed everyday until this past Saturday (11w 4d) and it just kills my PMA. I was seen in the ER at 10w 6d for horrible upper abdominal pain that I had been haaving since retrieval. Turns out it's my gall bladder, but they can't take it out until after I deliver unless it becomes infected. Right now it's just full of 'sludge' according to the Dr and ridiculously painful when I have an episode. I have had many u/s to check on the baby since I've had so much bleeding and he/she's always looking good! In the ER, the baby finally had normal (skinny) looking arms & legs, he even jumped around a little! For the first time, I cried when I saw the baby. The relief I felt was overwhelming and our baby looked gorgeous. I go back again this Friday to see my OB and get another sono. Hopefully, this hemorrhage will be gone by then. I would really like to be able to have SEX again, too!!! I may have to have you ladies remind me what to do though....it's been SO long! Sorry if that sounds raunchy, I don't mean it that way. Between IVF, OHSS and now this bleed it's just been too long. I hope to catch up with all of you so that I can do personals this week. I am finally getting a little bit of energy and feeling more alive. I never had any m/s, lucky me! I just felt tired all of the time.

Also, I know it's early, but have any of you started thinking about names?

Glad to be back....talk soon!

Hi everyone, sorry I have been MIA for a few days... Washington DC in the spring is Priceless. This week end was great. I spent Friday, saturday and sunday at the park, bbq and taking the sun... it was so nice...

Katie: hapy belated bday I am sorry I did not write on Sunday. I see you had a good time with dh. How are you feeling now? I am glad these pregnancy pants are fitting perfectly.

Ronda: Happy bday girl...Sorry TN will have to wait but it is worth it...so you have more time to spend with your new born and less stress for you.

Hope: I am so sorry m/s is giving you much hard time. I hope you feel better soon.

Lou: How is the book you bought "what to expect when you are expecting" Is it nice, interesting and worth buying? I was wondering about it. Let me know and enjoy your workout... I am your total admirer. How dont know how you do it....

Steph: How are you doing? I am sorry the hospital you go is giving you problems all the time. Military families should get the best health care available...

Ashley: whoouu your migraines sounds horrible. I am glad they are gone and hopefully for good.

Gi: How are you? I am glad you dont have any m/s except at night so you keep the medicine inside the body like you say. I have not start eating like crazy yet. However if I dont eat I do get a little neausea...nothing serious...

Hazel: How was golfing and the whole week end? Great I hope

Ktelise: I know how you feel about not being to call the nurse every other day. I dont even have an OB yet so I dont know when I will get release to the OB but I really have to think about it. I keep avoiding it because I dont know who to pick or where to go....

AFM: well nothing special except that I cannot function until 12pm everyday. I dont have any m/s but I am super tired. I wake up at 9am, take breakfast and go back to bed until 12pm. I dont sleep, I read or day dream but I am just lazy to do anything. Then 12 pm comes and I realise I need to move my butt and do something. After 1pm I am normal again... Weird. I do feel a little nauseus but very mild, a few crackers and I am okay. Hopefully it stay this way.
One great news... friday I received a letter from VA employment office and it looks like I will receive extended unemployement benefits for 3 more months. It was so unexpected, I am so happy. I guess I wont go to France then but this is much better...May be I can go in 3 months....It will be the perfect weather then. If I do go and you girls have vacations, feel free to come by, I will be your guide...You can stay at my mom's house (very simple but nice enough)...I grew up in a village 10 min from Avignon (in Provence).
Well I am sorry if I forgot anyone. Talk to you soon.
Love

Riley baby i am sorry you are having a rough time lately but delighted the baby is ok,how amazing it must be to see it actually looking like a real baby!!! I have been dreaming of baby names since we started ttc 8 yrs ago, i like kayla for a girl and joshua for a boy hopefully we get to use one of those shortly!! All going well with this pregnancy j and are are not having sex till after birth as i have a very weak cervix and always bleed after sex so def. avoiding it, i dont think i could handle the stress and j definatley couldnt everytime i go to the loo he asks is everything ok.

Steph thankfully your bleeding is subsiding and babies look great. Your gift of donation is amazing and will help other couples achieve their miracle baby.

Ronday Happy Birthday!!! Sorry you are on meds for ms it must be rough!!! J loves seeing me eat loads as i used to suffer from eating disorder when we 1st met and rarely ate, i am fine now but he loves seeing me eat loads. The presses are stocked with everything though i am loving pickled onion flavour munster munch crips at the moment

Positive thinking glad to hear you are doing well. Its great you get extended unemployment benefits but does that mean after that you get nothing?? Just wondering over here in Ireland if you are not working you usually automatically get unemployment benefit until you go back to work. I am like you so very lazy and tired, i have to take my 1st progesterone around 7 am along with the steriods so i am never able to go back to sleep but love getting cup of tea and reading for few hrs, today was the 1st day i was actully able to nap and last night i slept my 1st full night sleep in 2mths it was great!!! Heres to happy lazy days

OK, damn computer ate my post... so I'm starting over!!!!

Positive -- I'm jealous of your nice weather in D.C. Last Saturday we had snow, sleet, and wind here in Chicago! It was horrible. And the book is pretty good. Definitely worth the investment for a first time mom like me. Katie recommended it too!

Riley -- I'm sorry to hear about your bleeding but so glad your baby is ok and you are back with us! :D You've hit the 12 week mark too! How does that feel?

Ronda -- You crack me up girl!!! "Barf on someone who told you to play tennis"... that's funny! But seriously, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Steph -- Yay for two good hearbeats! I'm so happy that things are going well for you after all that drama and scare. I think embryo donation is very admirable and I'm proud of you and DH for considering it. Some lucky couple will have an incredible opportunity because of you.

Gi -- I hope you're feeling better! I've noticed a bit more hunger too and I'm definitely eating a bit more including a cupcake I shouldn't have had today! I need to concentrate my extra calories on nutritious food for baby. I'll do an extra hour on the elliptical tonight after my weight training for that cupcake...lol!

AFM-- I still feel great. And I know it's early and that my symptoms could gang up on me in another week or so. I can't wait to start telling people about this pregnancy. But I just need the u/s confirmation first so I really believe there's a baby in there. Still taking dollar store HPT's every few days too. They are all positive and I've had no spotting, bleeding, or cramping... so that's all good right? Finishing up here at work in a bit... it's been a looong day since I started at 7AM. I can't wait to get to the gym! :D I met THREE pregnant women at the gym yesterday. One was due in 8 days and the other two were early like me. We talked for a bit and I learned a lot from them about fitness in pregnancy.

gi - Thank you. I think having kids is the most precious gift a person can have and it's so horrifying to the people who can't have one without someone else's help. Whether the help be dugs, IVF, donation or even surrogacy and adoption. I did egg donation once and thought about surrogacy. A friend of mine is having a lot of trouble concieving and it may look like surrogacy is her only chance. It's just so sad.

You said you have a weak cervix, did they or will they do a cerclage? My cervix turns down towards my back when I get preggers. They told me with my DD that I had a tilted uterus, no one has complain thus far of it with this pregnancy.

Positive - Sounds like your weekend was awesome! I am about the same way... I wake up in the morning and just don't want to get up, but my bladder will wake me up around 5 or 5:30 am then again at least once or twice. Eventually I give in and get up, when all depends though. Anywhere between 9 and noon I'd say. :) As far as the health care, we get great benefits (except ivf which was all out of pocket) the care is always questionable though. I don't think I have ever heard someone rave about an Army hospital. You think they would be the ones equipped for all kinds of trauma... nope. This one isn't at all and they all have to be flown to the hopspital my RE is at. That's the one I want to go to. They have the best of everything there!

Riley - I am glad to hear everything is going well spite the bleeding. I have been going through off and on bleeding now since last wednesday night. UGH! That is so awesome to be able to see your baby and his/her little legs moving. I feel you on the "do not enter" sign the docs place over our vagina. I miss it like crazy. The RE would have given us the OK if it wasn't for this bleeding. Now we have no clue when we will be able to remove the previously mentioned "sign". I will wait the whole pregnancy if I have to so to assure my babies stay safe, but that doesn't mean I don't want to have a little fun!

Ronda - Happy Bratday! lol  Another year young! I am feeling ok... just ok. I keep going up and down with this bleeding. It stops, it comes back, it stops and comes back. Just when I think it's going away.. yep.. it comes back. At least it is small and the RE isn't worried about it at all! That keeps my hopes up but of course I am still scared, I think I will until they come out of me at 9 months. lol My nausea seems to have gone bye bye and my boobs are feeling better, my lower belly seems to be swelling already and I have to pee a lot. How are you feeling?

Lou - Your baby is going to come out completely toned and teaching tennis lessons! lol Glad you are feeling great! You sound just like me with the HPT's... I was taking them every other day! I took my last one just a day before my u/s. Keep peeing on sticks, but no matter what stick or no stick... it's real!!!! Don't worry about the symptoms and yes no cramping or spotting is absolutely awesome! I say don't be afraid to tell the world about your baby... maybe it will help make it even that more real for you and help keep you positive. Have you at least told your family members? I started with one close friend and immediate family. DH decided to tell the whole world though. lol

Hope - How's that m/s coming a long? I hope you aren't laid out!

Katie - After an awesome birthday, how are you feeling? Hopefully the m/s is still at bay! You seem to have been on a roll lately. ;)

ktelise - How are symptoms lately? DH still reminding you that you have them? lol

meganlynn - How are you doing?

Stephanie - Actually, I spoke too soon. Last night I fell asleep with a headache and nausea, woke up with it and I still have it after the entire day. Ugh...is this m/s without throwing up? My pregnancy with DS was not like this at all...maybe a DD? I am going to try some gingerale and see if this helps. Of course, this happens on the day my son goes back to school, I have work to cathc up on and DS has a T-ball game and stupidly I volunteered to be "Team Mom", what was I thinking not knowing where this pregnancy would take me?

Life must go on...I have my next u/s tomorrow and am excited. I will update you all tomorrow....sorry for no personals but I did read all posts but am dizzy sitting here with a terrible headache seeing stars! Ugh!!!
