latrell it only takes ONE sweetie!! last cycle i went into my ER with only 4 follies...i ended up only having one egg out of those, but it was mature and perfect. it didnt turn into a BFP for me, but it had nothing to do with the egg quality..it just wasnt my time. i've heard a bunch of wonderful stories on this board about woman getting pregnant with only one egg at ER. did they tell you if you had any other smaller follies that might catch up by the time of ER? please let me know what they say today...i am praying you make it to ER!!! i'm sending you all my no cancel vibes!! hang in there..i know what you are going through, and its really hard.

You forget that this is the LUCKY board, that being said, Chill out and relax. You have read as many posts as I have and know mentally that many time the HPT's are incorrect, thats why we jokingly call them evil sticks. Yes it's exciting to POAS but nothing says BFP like a beta. Please know that I wish you A BFP so please relax, remember stress is not good for you. I am no expert on the stick other than what I read, but I think you are still too early, I dont know if a 6 dt makes that much difference or not. Keep your chin up....PMA... keep your stress down and think round fat happy thoughts !!

Ok note to self...don't be away from board so long because its too hard to keep up with all the posts! So I will not attempt to do personals this round but will try next time. Sorry!

I just wanted to check in and let you know that the ER on Tues. went really well. They were able to get 26 eggs and of those 18 were mature and of those 15 fertilized! So far I have had some tightness in the abdomen last night but it was gone this morning. I am still drinking lots of fluids and peeing a lot and my pants seem to fit fine. No excessive weight gain so I'm hoping that I will be fine for my transfer tomorrow. We will be transfering 2 embryos tomorrow at 9:15. I'm excited but still a little worried that I might start to show signs of OHSS.

Congrats to all of our BFP ladies! This truely seems to be a lucky board.

Marci I am glad your stims are going so well! Grow follies Grow! When is your ER scheduled for?

Kim Stop peeing on those blasted evil sticks! Your beta is still so far away you must give your baby time to settle in. All your IVF sisters love you and want you to relax so no more POAS ok?

Franny I too can't wait for Friday to get here but we only have one more day so hang in there!

Hi emmax, I have been lurking on this board for a month, just completed my 1st cycle, BFN unfortunately, and am doing another back to back. My desire to allay your fears has caused me to come out of my lurking status. I am in the US and my RE uses Versed and Fentanyl. I really hate being sedated and made them give the LEAST possible amount, so I was awake and pretty alert the whole time. They let me keep my cell phone and I watched Friends clips on YouTube and even texted I LOVE YOU to my fiance in the middle. I can promise you there was no discomfort, absolutely nothing to worry about even if you are not totally out!

Congrats to all the BFP's so far, I have been following you all. I should have posted earlier, but I am always the pessimist, and didn't want to bring down anyone's PMA

Winnie is right. They didnt feel comfortable sedating me...so I was awake for the whole thing. Didnt hurt at all.

Hi Everyone..
i been reading thru this forum for a few days now but never wrote
i had a blastocyst transfer today and this mornin th eembryologist rang me and said that i got 2 average quality blasto's and 1 poor so they will hv to trasfer two..
so i got 2 transfered but am really worried if i am gona concieve with them avg blasto's if anyone knows abt anythg similar

Latrell – I was told that the follicles are supposed to grow 2mm every day or two days so you might go on Saturday. Don’t worry; there are plenty of women like myself who are only transferring one egg. I am sending you positive vibes!

Emmax – Don’t worry; I am sure your retrieval will go fine w/ minimal pain.

Franny – Thanks for the word of encouragement. I feel a little better after my appointment today. No, I am not doing acupuncture but sometimes I wish I would have. I just took some migraine medications and it went away … thank fully!

Teresa – Sounds like your ovaries have been super busy … that’s great! Good luck tomorrow! Let us know how everything goes once you have rested after the transfer.

Helene – I can’t wait to hear about your u/s!

Winnie – Welcome! Versed & Fentanyl huh? I bet you were feeling really good … lol!

AFM – Ok I had my u/s and blood work early this morning and I definitely feel a lot better, well for now. Thank you ladies for all of the support and PMA! My RE said I have 8 follicles on my right ovary and 3+ on my left as it was hard to tell because once again my ovary his hiding behind my uterus! I told my RE that at least I am consistent … of course he laughed because that also happened during my first IVF. My estradiol level is 300 today, which they think it is perfect for the size of the follicles. The largest one is only 11 or 12mm so it looks like I will not have my ER until April 1st and ET on April 6th but I will know for sure this Saturday as I have another blood draw and u/s. Grow follies, grow …!
