angela-I hate that feeling of uncomfortableness! I did my fresh cycle over Thanksgiving so at dinner I was miserable!! Just know it's only a few more days till they are out and the bloating will go down!!

Sara-so sorry you had to go through that experience at work!!! I hope we both get good news on Wednesday! I won't hear a heartbeat since I will be at 5w3d and they are just looking for a sac!! I go in a week later if all looks good and they see a heartbeat then!!

AFM...Trying so hard to remain optimistic about this!!! I go for acupuncture tomorrow to help my body and mind relax and I'm just hoping and praying all looks good on Wednesday! I am having subtle symptoms like the metalic taste in my mouth, tiredness, and cramping!! It comes and goes but I REALLY hope this is the one!! I will keep you updated on Wednesday!

Hi ladies. Just got in from my appt. The follies were still there on the u/s so they went ahead with ER. They said that I have 2 eggs and that I need to call back tomorrow after 12:30 to see if they both fertilized. If they did, we will be transferring both. Thanks ladies for all of your support. I am hoping for the best tomorrow. Going to lay down for a bit, tired from the ER.

marci i've been thinking of you all weekend. how are you doing? take time to scream/cry..its ok. i know what its like to be canceled back to back...it sucks and its heartbreaking. i'm so so so sorry you have to go through this. i know after my 2nd cycle was canceled i started getting the "donor egg" talk. its not easy at all. stay strong and know i am here for you. let us know how the appointment goes!

lauren i still cant believe you go into boston garden with meds and needles!! haha crazy! i would love to go to fenway...it might be pretty cold this time of year though! i totally understand the no drinking thing though. if i went out with a bunch of friends and didnt drink i know i would get a ton of questions haha that makes me sound like a lush!!

afm so i woke up on saturday with a really bad chest cold. i felt horrible. i decided to go to acupuncture anyway, and they did a bunch of points on my chest to help. on my way out my acupuncturist stopped and and gave me this thing called a "cupping kit" to take home with me. has anyone heard of cupping? they are these plastic cups with a suction gun thing that you place on your back and it sucks the skin up into the cup (kinda like giving a hickey). he said to have DH put them all over my upper back to help with my cold. i figured why not try it. it felt weird, but i actually liked it, and it really did help me breath better. it was really cool he let us take it home.
so i'm feeling much better...not 100% yet, but not dead in my bed anymore! i went in just for b/w today, and am waiting for the phone call later today for my new instructions.
tonight is the first night of passover, and me and DH are having our seder tonight so we have alot of cooking to do. its going to be just us this year since we are in the middle of this IVF stuff. we usually end up having 3 different seders each year because we do one with all of our friends, then we usually end up going to NY and having a seder with my SIL's family, and then DH's family usually comes out from cincy to have another one. this year is going to be so mellow with just me and DH. we'll have to have piperdog open the door for elijah haha
its also my dog piper's 12th birthday on wednesday, and its DH's birthday on thursday (yes he is an april fools baby haha)
since we cant eat cake on his birthday we went out to dinner last night so we could stuff our faces with bread and a big ol piece of cake!!
ok well i'm off to keep busy before i start yelling at the phone to ring!!

Just popping on to say I got bumped to day 5. I was CRUSHED when I got the call. No other info, I was too stunned to ask questions. Also, I'm not really sure I want to know how many are left!

At first I thought it was a bad thing, but the more research I do, the better the stats look. Maybe, I'm just pissed becasue I was looking forward to 2 days off from work!

Mcfarland – totally understand. Sometimes it’s nice to have a secret, other times not so nice  Have you thought about how you want to surprise them when you get your BFP?

Angela- glad those follies are growing! Can’t wait to hear how it goes!

Franny – I’m a huge fan of cupping. Very cool that he let you take them home. How often can you do cupping? I’ve only had it done in the dr.’s office, never had them to do at home…can you do it again?

AFM – Thanks ladies for all the notes. so just my luck. I finally get AF on Saturday morning. BUT, because it’s Saturday, my clinic is not open and either is the jury duty office. So, I can’t get my baseline u/s done (had to be done b/w day 1-3) and I can’t get a dr’s note for jury duty and I can’t get the prescription and clomid filled by day 3. So, DH and I said F it. This is just not our month. We are going to wait until next month now, which I’m a little disappointed about, but we’ve been waiting for so long that I guess it’s not the end of the world! Marci – are you going to cycle next month? Ugh. So sad.

Good Morning Ladies

I keep telling myself that this is not the end of the world, that I am healthy and loved, have a great family and so forth but still I am so damn sad. I thought it would be easier being cancelled the second time around but it hurts just as much. I read on the board about people going to ER with 2 eggs and my heart feels angry that my RE would not even give me the chance with three, or the chance to stim longer... They said the odds were not good and because I am cash pay it would save me money. I am supposed to make an appointment today to meet with RE for yet another plan. We now need to do something to improve egg quantity. I have read some where about a protocol that does not use BCP, does anyone know anything about this, I think the BCP (which I could never take when I was younger) are in some way hampering things...or does anyone know of or have used something that increases the numbers of eggs??? I feel like I am grasping at straws here....lost... sad... and depressed.

I am trying to update the board please forgive me if I missed anyone and please help me get back on track.

My love to all for your kindness support and words of encouragement. They mean alot. I am at the point where I think I only have one last try left in me. IVF affects not only your body and mind, but your relationship with everyone around you. I am and have always been a very strong person...lately I feel like I could very easily be one of my own mental health patient, that concerns me more than the thought of not concieving.
