Massage before ET-Ghost?

Post by garfieldtracy »

What are the thoughts on getting a massage the day before ET? Not a deep tissue - just a nice relaxing one.

Anyone - Ghost - opinions please.

I think it should be fine.

But as always, I must qualify that with the following: Check with your RE.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

Thanks for the reply. My massage therapist knows what we are doing and thinks it OK and my acupuncturist thinks it is OK. I was just want to make sure I am doing anything drastically wrong.

Garfieldtracy - I had a massage the day before my first fresh egg transfer and it really made me relax but of course I asked my RE before I did it and he thought it was a great idea. I ended up w/ a BFP that cycle! Please be sure to tell your masseuse what your plans are (that you are going through IVF) because they will be sure to avoid any areas that they think will cause any problems. My masseuse concentrated on my lower back in the thought process to increase blood flow to my uterus but she did avoid putting any pressure over my uterus/ovary section.

As a matter of fact, you brought up a great idea that I forgot about. I think I am going to schedule a massage this Monday, the day before my ET is scheduled.

Good luck!

I went to a regular spa that performs massages like Michaels, etc. I just told them up front what I was doing (IVF) and she said ok and made sure that she stayed away from my stomach and pelvic area. The massage is strictly used to help you relax and both times that I did it, I did relax and became pregnant!

I wish you good luck!
