i ring my dr she said take co dydramol why did i do that i was getting better now this horrible pain

You poor girl... my is the medecin helping at all? I can't imagine the pain you are in... oh I use hope everything will settle soon.

tameka welcome back! i'm so sorry you have had such a stressful few weeks, but wooooohoooo for starting stims!! now you have to stay calm so those lil follies can grow!! grow follies grow!

angela wooohooo for getting 10 eggs!!! thats awesome! when will you hear back on the fert report and ET date?? get some rest...this whole process can wear you out!! grow embies grow!!!

latrell thats so nice of your friend to come do your shots for you! i never felt any pain while doing the PIO shots. i would ice the spot for 10 minutes before, and wouldnt feel a thing. the day after the first shot i was really sore though, but then i made DH massage the area after doing the injection for 10 minutes or so to get all the oil moving around. heat after also helps a bunch! i also had some cramping on and off from the PIO so i think its pretty normal. if you ever question it call you RE though! hang in there!!

winnie 10 follies is great!! did they call you back yet?? i would think with the big ones being at 19mm they would have you trigger tonight. unless they are going to let the big one go so the others can catch up. thinking of you. i know the constant wondering and waiting is horrible. i'm right there with you!! good luck and stay calm. i'm sorry you cant ride your horse, but its going to be soooooo worth it when you get your BFP!!

helene your landlord sounds like a pin in the butt hahaha i hope you find a beautiful new home for your growing family soon! it feels like its taking forever for the 7th to get here. i'm dying to see how many lil beans you are growing in there!! any m/s yet??

afm i went in for my SnS this morning, and i have 6 follies! 2 at 16mm, 2 at 12mm, 1 at 11mm, and 1 at 9mm! they just called and told me to continue with the same meds tonight and tomorrow am, and i have to go back AGAIN for another SnS tomorrow AM!!! yes folks..thats 3 SnS's in a row!! i think they are trying to stim me a little longer so the smaller ones have a chance to catch up. i sure hope they do without losing the bigger ones. i'm also surprised they didnt start me on centrotide (sp?) yet, because i figured with the 2 at 16mm i would start to ovulate, but they said i didnt need to take it today. oh well..they are the experts right? i tried to get a trigger date out of the nurse today, but she wouldnt tell me. i also stopped asking about my E2 levels because they always just depress me and make me go google crazy. (step away from the google search!!) haha
i'm feeling a little tightness in my stomach, and its a little sore, but i cant tell if its from the stims or all the poking around the past 2 days with the u/s, or i ate too much matzo this week!
i went to acupuncture today, and passed out for 2 hours!! i guess i needed some sleep because it felt like i was only there for 30 minutes tops...it was a total timewarp!!
today is also DH's birthday, and we are going to go to dinner and a movie tonight. its gonna be a early night since i cant drink, and we both have to get up at 6AM tomorrow. i'm hoping this will all be worth it this time. you wouldnt believe how many celebrations/ events i've had to skip/not drink during/go home early from in the past year from all of this IVF stuff. i'm just praying soooo hard that this time will make it all worth it!!

Franny-Yay for your six, growing nicely!!! You are just a few days behind me, and we'll be suffering thru the 2ww together.
Don't know how they decide on the Cetrotide-they put me on it after 5 days of follistim both cycles.

Got my call back, E2 is 1050 and they want me back for SnS tomorrow, so earliest I can trigger would be tomorrow night. It really is going to be an egg hunt on Easter for me!

Hey ladies I'm dropping in for a PMA boost. I hadn't heard from the RE at all about the status of my 13 embies that they were going to let go till day 5 then freeze. Well the nurse called back and none of them made it. So now I am freaking out that if they couldn't make it two more days will the two they transfered fair any better? The nurse said that we still have enough insurance benefits left for almost another whole fresh cycle but my DH sounded hesitant in trying again if this doesn't work out. Sorry to bring everyone down but I am really disappointed that nothing made it to freeze. Also for you BFP girls if you POAS what was the earliest that you got a BFP? I am very tempted to POAS on Sun (I really want to tomorrow) but my beta isn't until Wed. Suggestions?

hopeforbabies oh hun i am so sorry to hear that none made it to freeze. did they give you any reason as to why they all stopped growing? that seems like a lot of embies to have none make it. please dont give up hope though...we all know that the best place for our embies are back inside their mama's!!! i'm serious..i'll the stress the embies go through in the lab makes it really hard for them to continue to grow. they are so much happier back inside! PMA PMA PMA PMA!!!! i am praying that those 2 lil beans are holding on! tomorrow is WAY too early to POAS!!!! dont do it! its only going to upset you, and you dont need that added stress right now. how many dpt are you, and what day transfer did you have?? i would even think sunday would be pretty early if your beta isnt until wednesday! i know those sticks are calling your name, but hold on just a little longer. i would say try monday? if you do let me know!! i cant wait to see your BFP!! i understand DH not wanting to go through this again, but you shouldnt even be thinking of next time yet!! xoxoxox ((((((((((((big hugs)))))))))))))))

Hopeforbabies – don’t be upset that none made it to freeze because I hear of several women who still become pregnant w/ the same situation. There are several studies out there that say some follicles could have made it longer if they were in the womb instead of in a Petri dish. So, PMA ok? And, in regards to your HPT question, I asked that very question this morning prior to ER and I was told that the HCG trigger shot lasts for 7 days in the system. So you can start on day 8 but remember that is still very early! I remember when I got my BFP, I tested 8 days following my transfer and I got a faint positive and then on day 9 it was a lot darker. But, I was making more HCG than a singleton because it was pregnant w/ twins.

Winnie – Estradiol of 1050 … you are progressing along. So you will be going back for another u/s tomorrow, I am sure it’s because they really want to monitor you closely! To answer your questions: They will call me tomorrow for the fertilization report and I will most likely transfer 1 blastocyst on (day 5) like I did during my first fresh cycle, which will be next Tuesday.

Emmax – I don’t mean to get too personal and if this bothers anyone, I am so sorry but Emmax are you talking about when you strain to have a bowel movement? If so, it is the hormones that are making you constipated … during my first fresh transfer I nearly cried because I was so uncomfortable because I was sooooo very constipated. So I called my RE and they told me it was safe to take a stool softener. I take Colace and I can tell you that it makes such a big difference. You don’t want to continue to strain yourself. If you have any questions, you can call your RE to make sure they will allow you to take the same thing.

Franca – Sorry for the question, just an interpretation problem … lol. Also, I am feeling pretty loopy w/ all these pain meds on board! Well, I guess I am feeling good for now!

Franny/Angela Thank you for your uplifting words they definately help me to feel a little better. So, do you count the actual transfer day as day one? If so I am 7dp3dt. I really am fighting the urge to poas because I my mind tells me its way too early, but my heart really wants to know. I will probably still break down on Sunday and take one and hope that I do have twins so it shows up. If not I know it wont be the final say and I will definately let you girls know what it says. As for the trigger shot hcg is it 7 days for the full 10,000iu because I only took 5,000?

Thanks Franny! I was hoping someone would post that again. I think I'm going to print it out to take home with me. So if I'm 7dpt then I should hopefully see a bfp on Sunday or monday. Whew! I know, I know I wont take it to heart if its negative but at least I can stop thinking about the stupid sticks for a few days!

You need a stool softner. Call your doctor to ask what they would suggest. If you don't, the constipation will only get worse. I take Colace 50mg at least 2 or 3 times a week. I was the same way with all three of my pregnancies ... it was awful. Sometimes, the prenatal vitamins can make you constipated also unless they have some extra fiber in it. It is also a good idea to add more fiber to your diet. For example, oatmeal, ceareals high in fiber, fruit, and drink plenty of water, etc.

Hi All,

Maybe someone can help me here...I am going through a natural cyle, but taking IVF meds. I give you a quick run down of my story. I've been ttc for 9 yrs..I have high fsh and my cervix was closed slightly. Anyway two years ago in May I got preggors....naturally..well almost I had taken IVF meds the month before but couldn't do the transfer because I didn't produce enough eggs. Well low and behold the 3 I did make were enough because it worked. Unfortunately at 25 weeks..I loss the baby...I had taken a plane trip out of state and judging by my blood work after the delivery...I believe I developed a blood clot and loss the baby. Anyway now I'm back at it again...I'm taking the IVF meds (follistim), but my question to everyone is has anyone just taken this med alone and if so what is your dosage. My previous Dr. passed away a year ago and his office is closed and I can't get a hold of my medical records..so sad about it! But I know I was taking menopur and bravelle I just can't remember the dosage...I honestly think I was on 300 per day...and now I'm on 150. If anyone can help me with this...I'd so appreciate it. I don't fully trust this new Dr. and he isn't listening to me so that is making me even more upset.
