I just did the ET today and am depressed at the embryo results. I had 3 transfered - 1 was an 8 cell, but the lowest rating of 1 - so pretty much rule that one out. The other 2 were the highest grade of 4 (on a 4 scale), but were at a 10 cell. I always thought that 10 cells were too much for a 3 day transfer. Out of 3 previous transfers I only got PG with the ones that had 7 and 8 cells with grades of 3 and 4. The one transfer I previously had that resulted in a BFN I had a 10 and 12 cell with perfect grading (4) so I am not confident about this cycle. My RE says he is happy because he thinks the grading is more important then the cell division, but is he just saying that to keep me going, or is it true? I know anything is possible, but I just want to know what my chances really are when both are "perfect" BUT 10 cells?????

Cell division is very important information, but there is little difference between 8 and 10 cell embryos in terms of implantation potential. The 10 might even be better, depending on which source you read.
Best of luck.

Ghost - Thank you so much for your reply. I have been stalking the boards hoping you would respond quickly. And, again you didn't disappoint !! It if funny, I talk to DH about you and he even said - when we get home "ask Ghost's opinion" - so I did. He said you don't believe your RE but you believe someone on the boards and I said "YES". I know it sounds strange, but your opinion really, really, counts. You tell the true - be it good, bad, or ugly.
I am going to get my PMA off the ground and start thinking positive !!

Thanks a million,

Thank you very much for your very kind words. But I assure you, I do not know 1/100 as much as your RE.
