Claudia: I’m sorry that you’re having bleeding. Wait until you see your RE, like Libby said, it may be from your cervix and not affecting your pregnancy. Please try to remain calm, I’ll be praying for you that everything is okay.

Emma: ET was not painful at all. As a matter of fact, I didn’t know when he had started or finished! LOL I had some discomfort but it was more like stomach cramps that evening and yesterday. Today I feel just fine. You’ll do just fine at your appt.

Winnie: What a great day for ER!! I’m happy for you! You’re moving right along. Can’t wait to hear how thing go for you.

Drboots: I hope that you have a wonderful time with your family this Easter weekend!

Angela: Okay, I see you! 9 fertilized!! AWESOME! If you don’t mind me asking, what is the Xanax for? I understand about having to take so many different meds. I put a calendar together with my meds on it daily so I wouldn’t forget what I’m supposed to take!

Kushka: I’m not sure at all about your lining question. I’m sure the other ladies will be able to give you better advice. I was just asking yesterday because my RE doesn’t tell me anything about my bloodwork, I have to make sure to ask. As far as caffeine and alcohol, I stopped before I started stims, both. I wasn’t told to do so, I just did because I didn’t know if it was okay. You should check with your RE and see what they recommend.

AFM I’m feeling so much better today! Is that good or bad?? LOL, yesterday my stomach was hurting and I had the WORST headache and now today I’m good. Now I know what you all mean when you say you’re thinking about things and wondering, is everything okay because the pain stopped. Are my little babies still there??? I have no idea how I’m going to make it until the 14th. And to top it all off DH has to leave next week for school in Virginia for like 6 weeks. He will be gone when I go for my first BETA and my DD have baseball and track practice, everyday she will be going somewhere! I’m hurt that he has to go and he doesn’t want to leave until after beta but he has to go. I’m remaining positive when talking to him but dying on the inside!! I need him here with me to help me remain sane during this 2ww! How did you ladies make it?? Really 2 whole weeks??? I’m going out of my mind and I am what 2 days after transfer.
Me 33, one tube removed the other blocked. Daughter born 2002. (M/C 2005)
DH: 35 perfect

1st IVF: Jan 2010-canceled due to poor response to the meds :-(
2nd IVF: March, ER-2 follies, both fertilized, both went to ET,

hi everyone!

claudia oh no!!! soooo scary! listen to the other girls...it may be nothing at all! we all know ivf causes bleeding, so i am praying thats the case with you, and everything will be fine at your SnS tomorrow! did the bleeding just happen once or is it still going on? keep your feet up, and try to stay calm. (((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))

winnie woooohoooo!!! good luck with the trigger tonight!! enjoy your day of no needles tomorrow! an ER on easter is going to bring you many great eggs!! i'm so excited for you!! :D

drboots i'm sorry none made it to freeze. my RE said its pretty normal not to have any to freeze. its ok though because the one thats going to be your baby is already inside you!! enjoy your weekend away! its nice to get away during the 2ww, and keep busy!

angela woooohoooooo for 9 embies!!! yay!! grow embies grow! i'm so glad DH gets the day off to take care of you.

emma good luck tomorrow! everything is going to be fine! its really easy! try to stay calm ok? you'll be pupo tomorrow!! soooo exciting!

lauren are you enjoying this sunshine?? its sooo nice! opps about the patches haha...everything is going to be great at your SnS next week, and then the 12th will be here before you know it!! i'm so excited for opening day at fenway on sunday!! go sox! :D

libby i'm dying for you to get your u/s!! how are you feeling? keep those triplets safe!! xoxoxo

afm soooo i'm still stimming away. i went in for my SnS this morning, and my right overy was being difficult, and the u/s tech kept grinding the wand all around me!! ahhhhh...i'm usually only in there for about 10 minutes...today i was stuck in there for 25 minutes while she stabbed me! so these are my follies numbers.... 2@17, 2@14, 13, 12, 2@10, 9, and a lil baby 8! yes...thats a total of 10 follies!! :o
i'm not counting on those small ones to do anything or catch up, but i can pretend right? i'm also a little worried why the 2 big ones didnt grow at all from yesterday???!!! :?
so i'm adding the cetrotide tonight, and i have to go back tomorrow AM for another SnS!! yes...for all those counting thats 4 days in a row!!! my poor veins cant take it anymore...i have the worst veins to begin with, and with 4 days of poking i think they are getting mad at me! i'm also starting to feel bloated, and tightness which ive never felt during a cycle before. most of my follies are on my left side so that side is a little more heavy feeling.
everyone please send me all the follies growing vibes you can!

***much love always***

Hey Franny, opening day on Easter! Would you think I was the worst fan if I told you I had two tickets (bleachers) that I paid $66.00 for and sold Wednesday for $175.00? LOL! I am trying to save money for Vegas and not drink, plus it's Easter and my husband is working.

Latrell - Of course I don’t mind you asking about the Xanax … well anything for that matter. During my last FET IVF, immediately after I returned home and went to sleep, I was woken up w/ severe cramping/contractions and a lot of the gassy feelings. My FET turned out negative but I think it was because of several things, which are below:

1.) I looked at the picture of the frozen embryo and it didn’t look at good as my first fresh embryo did.
2.) About 3 weeks prior to the transfer, I had to have major surgery to remove the remainder of the placenta from my stillbirth back from Feb. and there were also 3 benign tumors! My RE told me he had to totally re-sect my entire uterus. Well, I asked my RE if it was too soon to go directly into a FET and he said no, once you have an AF you will be fine. I shouldn’t have listened to him because I was so very sore still weeks and weeks later. I don’t think my lining was healed enough to have the embryo implant (it was still inflamed and irritated)!
3.)And then following the FET I had so much cramping that I probably expelled the embryo right out of its place.
4.)Also, I used my RE’s partner who wasn’t very familiar to me (against my better judgment) for the transfer and he had a hard time inserting the catheter through my cervix, which from what I read can affect the pregnancy outcome.

So I discussed all of the above w/ my original RE before this cycle and he said I should be put on an “angry uterus protocol”. The protocol calls for 600mg of Ibuprofen BID, Prednisone 5mg, & Xanax TID to ensure that my uterus doesn’t starting cramping and contracting following the transfer.

In regards to your 2ww window … your DH might be gone but you always have us. We will help you make it through this difficult time. Anytime that you need a sounding board or just some PMA get on this website and chat w/ us! So no worries, ok?

Oh and Franny, my Follies were just not growing last time! I was thinking I would be lucky to get 8 at one point. I ended up with 15! The little ones blew up in the few days before my ER. So you never know! I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Angela- Great fert report mama!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And WOW 3 xanax a day!!!
My Dr did Estrogen levels and progesterone and maybe something else. She grabbed the paper before I could read it!! LOL (I never thought to read the paper before) They don’t tell me the levels just if they are good or bad .

Supergenius- yes, my WHOLE family knows. I am not a very private person. I like to talk about things, so pretty much everyone knows.

Winnie- how fitting, have a super duper holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Emmax- for me it was very uncomfy, but I have a weird cervix. You will be fine!!! Good Luck

Claudia- bleeding can be common. I know it’s hard, but wait for the SnS. It could be anything. Just lay your hiney down and STAY put until the SnS. Praying SO hard for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Latrell- look at the calendar, you don’t have to wait another 12 days!!! And it sounds like DD’s schedule is going to keep you plenty busy!!!!!!!! I have SO many meetings with clients, and projects up the wazzoo that I don’t have time to think about “Am I, aren’t I, did they stick?” Thank goodness, try to find something to do when your mind begins to “creep”

Franny- drink as many liquids as you can before your Dr’s appointment, that will beef those veins up!!!! Every sonographer has a different way of measuring, was it the same one? Good luck, and keep on stimming girl!!!

Hello,

Today was the day that I went to the RE to hear the results of my 3/23 ET (2 embryos at 5day) blood work came back positive :D with a level of #113. The nurse said this was a strong number :? The last time I was pregnant my number was 62 and I miscarried a few days later. I know I shouldn't be looking into this, but after reading a lot of the blogs, the numbers seemed to be higher. Does anyone have any advice or stories of similar numbers. By all means, this does not make me out of the woods.... I have experienced miscarriages up to 14 weeks, however I never knew or was I concerned about my initial numbers because of my history. I have been feeling pretty good. I really don't have any major symptoms just yet..

Thanks for all the prayers! Please share any stories or advice!

Happy Easter!

Stephanie - That is a great beta, 113! I think that is just fine. Will you have another blood draw in two days to see if your levels are doubling? That should give you more confidence that everything is progressing normally. I really think you are fine and will have a successful pregnancy! Remember, make sure you have PMA! I am so very happy for you!!!!

Happy Easter to you also!

Thanks Angela for the kind words! I hope so too! I asked her if the numbers have any indication of multiples and she said the she has seen ladies with numbers as low as 90 and be carrying triplets, so she said I wouldn't know that till my ultrasound which is April 21st. Yes, I am scheduled to go back for blood work on Monday at 9, so I will be able to post that afternoon!

Thanks again for your support!

Ugh, just did my 10pm trigger, and it didn't go in easily-now I can feel a lump. Anybody have this happen? I got bruises 2x after the cetrotide last cycle, but i didn't feel them immediately. I am assuming it is just a hematoma, and it will have no affect on the absorption of the Ovidrel?

Winnie - I guess my first question is did you use the pre-filled synringe or did you have to mix it? If you mixed it and you administered it as an IM, then the following info is different than what applies to your situation. If it was like mine, it was prefilled and injected as a SQ. Because Ovidrel is a SQ injection, it isn’t injected very deep like an IM injection to get in to the muscle. So that means the medicine will be injected in the fatty tissue for slower absorption. If you are still concerned about the lump once you wake up you can take a warm towel (compress) and just apply it to the area to help w/ the absorption but don't massage the area if it is warm, swollen, or red (if it has those characteristics, let you RE know) . But, I think you will be fine. It probably means you injected the Ovidrel right under the skin possibly where you have previously injected meds recently, maybe Lupron or something else?? Is that possible? But as long as it stayed under skin instead of seeping out, I think you are fine! You might also just mention it to your RE but I am sure they will say it is fine. If I remember correctly, I don't think I had that w/ my injections but that doesn't mean you did anything wrong. Let us know how you feel in the morning.

Angela: Thanks so much for the reply! My stomach pains completely stopped yesterday. I was worried a little, because I didn't know what to think. I tried to call my RE yesterday but they were closed for German Holiday! Luckily I wasn't in any pain yesterday. I was just asking Ghost about having to take another trigger shot tomorrow. They gave me one the day of ET also. I didn't understand why so I asked Ghost!

Stephanie: CONGRATS!!! Look at you! Don't worry about the numbers. If they told you that they were good, they are! Enjoy this wonderful time!!

Emma: It's going to be fine! If your RE thought that it was going to be painful, he would let you have gen anethesia. I'll tell ya I didn't even know he was doing anything! As far as how many to put back, that's something that you and DH have to decide. I only had 2 so I went for it but DH and I had already decided that we were going with a minimum of 2. Have you two talked about it?
