kushka - yes I think your lining will go to 9 by wednesday... don't worry girl. How many embies do you have frozen together? Hopefully all you need to use is 3 and have 2 left for sibings Sorry about your dh having troubles... try and take it easy girl. You know for my last baby all I had was ONE acupuncture session AFTER O so one session can make a big diffirence... go for it girl. I think until you get your transfer you can drink it's ok. I never drink myself and almost never have coffey but I normally drink tea and now that I am pg I only have tea maybe once a week max... I stay on herb tea now.. You are going to love to do a FET it is so much more relaxing and non stressful...

DrBoot - sorry about none for freezing... I am so sorry about that but your cycle is going to work so nothing to worry and your lining is great way to go!!!

angela - 9 fertilized!!!!!!!!!!!! wow that is a record... you will have so many frosties way to go girl... Well for sure if it were me I would ask for 2 to transfer... the worse that can happen it you get twins... I think fresh is better then FET so better chances but anyhow I guess we have to trust them sometimes

winnie - Happy Easter Hunt tomorrow... how exiting... the Lord is definitly going to be with you I can't wait to see how many you get... way to go girl.

emmax - how are you feeling now? putting back the babies really doesn't hurt at all its like an u/s don't you worry so much :)After you have to be on bed rest for 24 hours would be best and after just little activities. I would put back at least 2 girl...

claud - what are you talking about?? What is happening?? There is no way you are loosing your beany he is so nicely stuck there strongly... try and relax until our SnS... maybe there is just a little problem... I will be offering my Easter Mass for you girl... hang in there.

latrell - you are just so funny. Yap I don't know how you are going to hold on for 2 weeks My Beta was only like 9 days later but if you POAS you don't have to wait 2 weeks you can start testing like 9dpt... Good luck to you girl.

sas - your Beta was positive with a 113 no!!!! That is fantastic girl. You are pregnant way to go... how exiting... I would not worry anything over 100 is perfect for first beta... you are ok girl...

Hello Everyone...

My name is Kajol ,I am 28 years old ..well I m new to this Forum(website).I have been married for 6+ years.Never had any pregnancy,later they found I had a large uterus Septum(thick wall inside my uterus)...finally one miracle doctor in Beth israel Hospital( Newyork City) agreed to perform my surgery,so he did it last year(2009)..after that we tried normally,but nothing happend so this Jan we went back to see him and he recommend us for IVF Treatment.before that,in Feb he also did a Hy stereoscopy to remove some polyps... I got my periods on march 16th..I started taking some pills from my second day...I went to his office on march 21st n he started my Lupron injections...he called me back in his office after 2 weeks...so ladies today I m goin to city to see him...he is gonna do ultrasound and some blood work,since its my first IVF,I m little scared...hope everything will go right...I have read your post's....I appriciate yur effort to make it comfy for newbies like me....

So I just got back from SnS and they still see the sac and fetal pole but they won't know anything until they get my beta numbers so please cross everything they are still doubling.

Yesterday was soooo scary-I seriously passed a huge blood clot that I could have sworn was the embryo-but the RE said that bleeding/blood clots was more common in IVF cases. I am not spotting/bleeding anymore so I'm hoping for the best and expecting the worse! Will update later...

Oh and the RE said I was 6 weeks on Tuesday instead of Sunday which is weird since my 3dt was on 3.10.10

Welcome Kajol - wow I am glad they are trying to help and things look brither now. I hope your first IVF cycle works but if not don't despair cause a lot of time the first doesn't work and the second does... So hand in there and stay positive.

Oh thanks for posting that good news. I sure will pray for doubling Beta nos... I am so scared too everytime I got to the lo I look to see if I am bleeding... those are not my embies so hey not sure if they are good or anything or even if the people who donated them got pg with theirs?? So it's all a waiting game like some say...

Thank you all for your support and kind words! Just got the phone call and its GOOD NEWS!!! Beta is over 600 and e2 and progesterone look great! So they said to take it easy and come back Wednesday when they will hopedully see the hb! Aaarrrggghhhh so releived! Personals later:)

Winnie – How did everything work out for you w/ the Ovidrel?

Franca – Your post made me think of a movie that my DH and I watched. The main character started out as a very old gentleman and then progressed younger and younger until he became an infant again. It was strange because he even fathered a kid and it was great while they were the same age but then the kid outsmarted him. Eventually, his wife divorced him and left w/ the kid.

Helene – I would love to transfer more than one but my RE flat out refuses to transfer more than one because of my first fresh IVF. During my first IVF, I transferred two and became pregnant on the first try w/ twins. At 5 ½ weeks I started bleeding and suffered a vanishing twin and then lost Ashley at 21 weeks. I also noticed that I started leaking amniotic fluid around 15 weeks, so w/ those facts he thinks it is just too dangerous to transfer more than one embryo as I might have experienced an incompetent cervix that shortens from the inside instead of completely opening. The high risk OB that I consulted, said a lot of women suffer from this who carry twins or more and a lot of OB’s miss the diagnosis. I keep pushing the issue but he refuses. I know and understand the complications but my desire is very strong to have more than one kid. But, I will trust his medical judgment; I just hope that he is right!!!!

BTW – I like the house. It looks like you will have plenty of room for your growing family. It reminds me of my brother-in-law’s house who lives in Toronto, Canada.

Kajol20 – I see that you found our website forum! I am glad because you probably weren’t going to have too many replies on the introduction forum. I hope your u/s and blood draw goes well. There is no need to be scared; we are all here to support you.

Claudia – I knew you would be fine. Beta over 600, whooo hooo! It could have just been a clot that has been there that just dislodged and some bleeding followed because your little one is growing in your uterus. There are so many reasons why you could have bled, so keep the stress low. I know, easier said than done right, lol?

Emmax – so they put 1 embryo back in … I am glad you had some to freeze. I am only putting back 1 embryo also on Tuesday, so we are in the same situation! Good luck, I know it will work for you!!!! To answer your question: Ectopic pregnancies can occur anywhere in the reproductive system but MOST often they occur in the fallopian tubes but since both of your tubes were taken out, this shouldn't concern you! Please don’t let this stress you out. Ectopics w/ IVF do not occur very often at all. You will be fine. Stop stressing yourself out. Remember, it is so very, very, very important that you stay calm so your embryo can attach itself to your uterus wall, ok? Just sit back and relax!!!

AFM – My RE’s nurse called this morning. Of the 9 embryos that fertilized, 7 are continuing to progress toward the blastocysts stage. She said she would call on Monday for our final report and then transfer on Tuesday! I can’t wait … is it Tuesday yet … lol?
