Franny-im so sorry hun that you had to go through that but just remember last time and your little bean divided and looked perfect so I have everything crossed for you-I will be sending every positive vibe I got to you!

Winnie-same to you hon! Your little bean will be a fighter and be in his/her mamma ASAP!

Angela/chris-good luck tomorrow! In 24 hours you will be pupo!

Hopeforbabies-I am a spotter and both my IVF cycles I spotted before beta and got a positive so it can be a spotting for so many reasons! Good luck with the evil sticks!

Tammy-yah for being pupo! Enjoy the next few days off and can't wait to hear another positive!

To all those I missed I'm thinking of you!

Afm...today I went for a walk with my dog and a friend and then out to lunch and during lunch I started to get cramps again like Friday and when I went to the bathroom I had some rusty/red blood:( I went straight home to lay down and drink a ton of water and its now down to spotting when I wipe!!! I just can't wait till Wed so I can have some answers!

hopeforbabies: Thank you for your words of support - it sounds like you had a full house for Easter! I love holidays and family time :D

Franny: I just ready your post & I can feel your pain, but please don't lose hope. It only takes one and I will be praying that your little egg fertilizes.
by the way I'm doing the antagonist protocol this time around. Last time my RE had given me Ovidrell & this time around he changed it to HCG

to_have_fun08: Good luck on your ET tomorrow! You will be in my prayers! how many embryos are you transferring?

Angela: Thank you for making me feel welcomed! Good luck on your ET tomorrow & enjoy the massage! I will be praying for you!

Winnie: I just realized that you also have endo & I certainly understand the agony you must go through on a monthly basis. Don't get discouraged about your one little egg - I will be praying that it continues to grow strong :)

secaly: Thank you for your welcoming words! I see that you had a successful outcome. Congratulations!

Tammy: I'm so excited for you & you are now officially PUPO! :D

Ladies: I had a lab appointment today & I got a call back from my RE stating that everything looks good. We're on day 3 of stims & my belly is huge as it can be. I'm also experiencing a lot of cramping, but I was told it's due to my endo. I'm just trying to remain positive & focus on the outcome.

Thank you for all your support

Hopeforbabies - You actually don't count your ER, so you would be 10dp3dt. That would be 13dpo and since your spotting came and stopped...well, I think that's a good sign! Could easily be implant bleeding. I had spotting on the exact same day this cycle with my BFP, along with some cramping. Good luck POAS tomorrow!

Angela and Chris - Good luck tomorrow! Yay for being almost PUPO!

Franny and Winnie - fingers crossed for your little embies to grow grow grow.

Claudia - SO glad everything has been ok, and good job taking it easy after the spotting. Is it wed yet? Also, in answer to a previous post, I think you are measuring a little small (didn't they put you back a couple of days?) because you most likely had a late implanter. Happens a lot with FET. It would coincide with your betas which started off just a little slow, but have since increased beautifully. Can't wait to hear about your appt!

AFM - just hanging out waiting for next week. My whole family knows now, along with a lot of friends (can't keep my mouth

hopeforbabies wrote:Tammy How exciting that all three of your embies made it back home. I'm so happy for you and congrats on joining team PUPO! Now stay busy during your 2ww so you don't go completely bonkers. To answer your question I am 11dp3dt if you count the actual day of transfer. I don't know if you are suppose to count that day or not? :?
In this case ...dont count the day of transfer. So you are 10dp3dt. Tomorrow would be exactly 2 weeks, right? You can safely poas, then. Do you plan to? I will be sitting here on bedrest...waiting your news! lol By the way...I spotted at 10dp3dt last time and it was nothing.

My Sister In Law is coming over to help me care for my 18 month old and me for the next 3 days while DH is at work. We plan to watch chick flicks and take it easy. She'll probably take Zach for a walk to the library or something so that I can rest, too. Then, Friday my 19 yr old niece is driving up for a visit from an hour away to help out. She wants to feel like she is helping...so I'll probably stay on bedrest an extra day. lol So gonna keep busy...but stay on the couch...and not lift Zach at all. Hope that makes the time go faster and gives me a BFP, too. lol

I'm really worried about lifting his 27.5 lb little butt after that. I was told not to lift over 10 lbs my whole pregnancy with him...due to being extremely high risk. We are not really sure how we are going to handle this...but we will figure it out, I am sure.

Hi, ladies - I just got back from a little Easter vacay to Naples, FL. It was a lot of fun and the weather was absolutely beautiful!! Now I'm back home and am sitting through a tornado watch. :( I'm exhausted and wanted to go to bed at 7:30 but knew I would be wide awake at 2 if I did. Anyone else taking progesterone having a hard time sleeping at night? I cannot wait to be done with this stuff! I am also still sooooooooooo bloated and my stomach is very distended. I swear I look 4 months preganant. I can't remember if the bloat gets better once off the progesterone??? Someone PLEASE tell me it does!! :)

Franny- I am so sorry to hear that you only got the 1 egg. I know how disappointed you must be and can only say that I'm so sorry. Don't lose faith though. It really and truely only takes 1. It's not over at all so don't start believing that it is. I'll be praying for your little bean.

Claud - I'm so glad to read that things have picked back up for you. I was a bit nervous there for a while. I have my first U/S on Weds. to see the heartbeat. I'm very nervous too. I'll be thinking of ya.

hope - as the other girls pointed out, you are 10dp3dt. Let us know how that POAS goes tomorrow and remember that if it's negative, that doesn't mean you aren't preggo. That's why we call the sticks evil  Spotting is very common with IVF patients, it is fairly common with early pregnancy in general, and is also common with twins. Don't sweat it. I'm sure everything is fine :)

Sara - I had a feeling you were carrying twins!!!! When you had your US during your bleeding episode and they only saw one sac, I was skeptical about there only being 1. Congratulations!!!! You should update your ticker :)

To all the new ladies on here - you are in the right place. Good luck and welcome! To everyone else, I'm thinking of you!!!

xoxo,

Heeks

Hi Ladies - I just can't keep up with you all! :) Went to my MIL's for the weekend & visited with my DH's family...trying our best to act casual because we have not shared any news of this IVF business with them. I am sure they suspect, since I turned down coffee & red wine (not my usual MO). :) Soon enough, I hope.
So, I had my first OB u/s today and apparently there are 2 sacs growing in there. I am still in shock. I really thought there was only one, because my betas did not look like other ladies that have twins.
DH on the other hand, has been convinced it would be twins from the beginning of this cycle. He said he would have been disappointed if there was only one (but he'd get over it ;) ).
Well, more waiting for me now.
Next u/s is on 4/15 and we should definitely hear heartbeat(s) by then (will be at 7.5 weeks).

franny, my friend, i know you wanted more eggs but we're all pulling for your little ova to fertilize tonight!!! ((((big hugs)))) and try to hang in there, girl!

claudia, i was so relieved to hear your little sac was still there & your beta is great! that bleeding would have scared the crap out of any of us.

heeks - i am still bloated too. i asked the doc today when my ovaries would get back to normal size & he said two months!!! i can sleep, except that i always need to get up to pee in the middle of the night...

sassygirl - welcome! of course you can join us - there is strength in numbers! :)

babyluv - when is your u/s next week?

paty - welcome back & congrats on getting to start your next round.

TammyS - congrats on being PUPO!!! that is spectacular news that all of your snowbabies made it back to their momma okay!

rayofsunshine/sara - how are you feeling these days?

angela - ooo, three weeks off sound wonderful (as does your back massage)!

hopeforbabies - the u/s was the vaginal u/s, same as for a SnS...i'm not sure why they call it an "OB u/s" other than the doc will be looking more in the uterus rather than the ovary areas...? Let us know if you POAS...:)

helene - congrats on finding a new place to live! your first u/s is tomorrow, right? :)

winnie - i'm crossing everything for your lil embie to keep dividing! would they do a 2 day transfer for you?

emmax - it's too early to tell if you're pregnant yet & some of the medications mimic pregnancy symptoms.

Lauren - congrats on starting stims! grow follies grow!

Franca - don't worry yourself, there's still plenty of time for those smaller follies to catch up!

latrell - i hadn't heard about not having acrylic nails if you are pregnant - maybe because of the glue they use to adhere them on???

not hopeless yet - congrats on being PUPO! :)

Kajol20 - welcome! sounds like you've been through alot just to get to the start of your IVF cycle. it's alot to learn & if you just remember to ask lots of questions, you'll be fine. sometimes the doctors forget that not everyone is an expert in this process. :)

marci - are you still out there? thinking of you & miss your charm and wit.

All the other ladies, I will try to catch up with you tomorrow. There aren't enough hours in the day anymore. ;)

Heeks...Welcome home. Sorry you're feeling so bloated. By the time it goes away your baby belly will be starting. lol  I think that most IVF girls wind up breaking out the maternity clothes sooner than natural pregnancies. lol So how are you handling caring for your little one? Are you lifting/carrying? Any tips?

Supergenius...Wooohooo! Congrats on twins! That's sooo awesome!

Franca...That was beautiful!

Helene..Be careful with packing and everything. Get your older kids to help...and just supervise.

Note to self, never go this long w/o personals again!!!!!!!!!!!!WOW, that’s a LOT of pages to catch up on!
Helene- the house looks great, congrats!!!!!!!!!! Good luck with the move!

Kajol20- welcome and good luck!

Emma- wha hoo, you are PUPO!!!!!!!

Claudia- great news, sorry you had that scare tho. Hopefully you are able to get some rest. Let us know how the heartbeat sono goes tomorrow!!! And make sure you rest as much as possible.

Angela- whoo hoo, you are PUPO today, relax and let those embabies settle in!

Nothopeless yet- 3 back in, that’s great! Good luck, I will be praying for you!

Winnie- 5 is a good number!

Paty- welcome to our little group! I was a similar protocol, so far, so good. Good luck!

Lauren- (((((((((((((((((AF vibes)))))))))))))))))))))

Latrell- isn’t it funny the things we will do for a BFP?!?!?!?!?!

To have fun08- Praying so hard that your embies to grow, grow, grow!!!!!

Franny- praying SO hard that your little egg is a fighter and gives you the blessing you have waited so long for (((((((((hugs)))))))))))

Stephanie- great news!!!!!!!!!!!

Hopeforbabies- not sure if the progesterone could be the cause, but many, many ladies have complained of spotting and have gone on to get a BFP. Keeping the hope alive!!!!

TammyS- YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What great news!!!!!!!! You enjoy your mini-vacation and let those little ones find the perfect homes!

Sassygurl- welcome and good luck!!!!

Heeks- I have been going to bed at 8pm and up at 4-5am!!! I can’t help it, the prog makes me SO tired! I am not sure of the bloat goes away afterwards, but I hope it does.

Supergenius- Twins, that is GREAT news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats!!!!!!!!!!

AFM- well, all was going well until Sat night, and I came down with what I only define as a Stomach virus. I felt horrible Sat night and took some immodium. Well, sat morning I was fine, but by the afternoon (Easter in full swing) I felt horrible!) I took 2 pepcid AC and some tylenol and managed to drive the 2 hours home. Once I got home Sunday night, I was in so much pain I moaned myself to sleep. Of course I had to go in Monday morning for BW, so I got up at 6am and was SO nauseas that I went in, made them do the bw and went back home and called in sick to work. I finally had a BM and after my cup of Tea I felt like a new woman, disaster averted. Yesterday afternoon the Dr’s office called and my progesterone and estrogen were a bit off, so I have to switch to PIO injections and estrogen supplements. I am such a baby that I am going in to the Dr’s office every morning until my Beta on Friday to have them do it. If I happen to get a BFP, I will “learn” to do them myself, but I am NOT looking forward to it. If anyone can share their tips or tricks for the PIO shots I would be forever grateful! Oh and BTW, I am wondering if I can test tomorrow AM? I will be 7dp5dt, think it would work?

Good Morning!

Thank you for all the Congrats! It is hard to get excited until we have our first ultra sound on April 21st! I have been reading a lot about numbers and post day transfers... I had two healthy 5dt (never got a grade) RE just said very healthy. My numbers seem to be good according to RE: 12dp 5dt: 113, 14dp 5dt: 313... Just looking everywhere to see if there might be a chance I have two in there...The numbers range so big it is hard to get a read on it...Just anxious! I feel like I have twins in there...I was never sick or even had the slightest sickness with my other two pregnancies, this time I am sick all the time and extremely tired! However, i do need to remind my self that it has been 9 years since I have been pregnant and being "older" will effect my pregnancy!!! :)

What do you guys think???

Talk to you soon!

Stephanie
