anyone pass tissue while pregnant

Im 7 weeks pregnant and passed 3 small - like the size of a pea - piece of what looked like tissue. Does anyone know what this is?

None of us can really know. Have you told your doctor?

I remember a few ladies in the past who posted something similar but I can't remember the specifics. Please let your doctor know. I know this sounds strange but if you were able to obtain the tissue because your RE might want to examine it.

Are you using crinone by any chance? It could be discharge from that.

yep dr said it was from the progesterone inserts

I want to sincerely apologize for my post on this thread. I originally posted the above, which is fine, but then I edited it and said that passing tissue is a warning sign of molar pregnancy. It is indeed such warning sign, but at 7 weeks into an IVF pregnancy, the doctor would very likely have run an ultrasound and ruled out a molar pregnancy. After realizing this, I edited my post again to read as above. If you saw the warning about molar pregnancy before I edited it the second time, and if it made you worry, then I profoundly apologize for that.

hey no problem ghost - I got to see an u/s before and after the incident which helps aton! The twins are growing well now at 8 weeks and ive been released to my ob - too bad i wont get to see them for a while!
