Hello ladies! This is my first IVF cycle. Taking Lupron and BCP. Start FSH & LH Injections in April, 4/16 exact!!! I am so nervous about the whole cycle but yet excited. How do you ladies decide on how many embryos to tranfers?????? Doctor wants to do 2 but I am thinking 3....I'm 35 and been TTC for 6yrs...NEED ADVICE!

I am on day 7 of stims. I had u/s yesterday and had 10 follies less than 10mm. I go back on Friday for bw and u/s. My meds were increased: follistim 75 to 100 twice day and Lupron 5 to 10 units. I am so excited to be stimming. I went 5 weeks on lupron. I cannot believe the progress and post on this board. It is truly awesome and encouraging. My dh is getting anxious about ER. He told me this was more emotional than he expected. I had to take Tylenol from slight pain. I need to keep hydrated with all the warm weather we are getting. So prayerfully follies will grow grow grow. Take care and I continue to pray for our cycle buddies and pupo ladies. God be with us all.

babyluv - wow that is a amazing what your DS is saying... you know something they are right... how exiting... love the story. You have such a great brother I am so happy for you girl you deserve it.

winnie - so ET is tomorrow wow that is fantastic news. I love it when they don't wait until blast so this way they don't die so much. Well you know they would not call you for ET if you had no embies don't you worry girl.

waiting4GodsMiracle - Welcome on board dear. I would transfer 3 if you can but that is all up in the air until you are almost at transfer So for now just enjoy the ride and the long waiting game ahead

Just got back from RE and we saw a heartbeat!!! We go back next wednesday and they told me to make an obgyn apt for two weeks! I'm still in shock:)

Only ONE in there ... Can you believe that... My C-Section is going to be ok and I can even try to have a Vaginal birth again maybe... Oh I am so happy about that... I was so worried to have multiples and they would all die.

I still can't believe that it took 6 embryos to have only ONE beanie... wow ... so I guess I might not have to share after all cause I wanted my one to have a sibling... oh how great it would be to have siblings and they would be together... I am so exited and happy. And my dh is so happy too he was so worried it was going to be 3 what a mess it would have been. So finally I am NOT mad at my IVF doctor anymore. I guess they do know what they are doing

So the doctor today found out I had a c-section in December and so he will find me a high-risk OB. He wanted to know why my IVF clinic did that so early I told him they didn't know and so they want to tell them... I told them they didn't need to know what can they do anyways!!! Take my baby out come on... so anyways we shall see. Like I am 45 now and I still have 6 embies to get so I don't want to be 50 when I am done... I would like this one to be ok and hopefully next year have his sibling... and then I would be DONE... no more babies...

Thanks everyone for all your support and help in this cycle it means a lot to me to have Non-Judgemental ladies to talk to.

Oh btw my due date is Nov 10, I am 6w1d today:)

Thanks Secaly, I know it's early to be thinking about how many embryos to transfer, I still have about 4wks to go. I have an appt for my first scan on 4/15.Well good luck to all on this baby journey. Stay connected!

Yesterday I had my transfer. We transferred a 5cell, 6cell and 8cell. The 8cell had a GES score of 95. SIRM has their own grading. For certain milestones the embie achieves it gets points. The higher the points the more likely they are to implant. The highest an embie can get is a 100. so my Dr. was really excited. I can't say for sure since I have not always been with SIRM but this is probably the best embie I have put back. So praying that it keeps on growing and sticks. On another thing I keep on thinking about the eggs that I ovulated. DH and I did the deed the day of my trigger shot so i would think that some of those eggs would also have a chance of fertilizing and attaching. Who knows, I might end up like Octomom. I just want for once to see two lines on a pregnancy test. My betas are April 16 and April 20th. They won't tell me the results of the 16th test till the 20th.

Funny I was just thinking about that when you mentionned you O already. I though I hope they didn't do the deed... well so you won't know if it's from your cycle or from you own doing Oh well doesn't matter as long as you get your BFP and I am sure you will not have 8 because you are not doing IVF for nothing right... so we are cheering for you girl. Way to go for perfect emby...
