Well I called my RE office just to let them know and actually got to talk to the nurse instead of having to leave a message. She said that it was still very early...it could be my period trying to start it or it could be nothing. She said there wouldn't be anything they could do to intervine so to try to relax. She did say that the spotting was very, very common so we would just have to wait till Friday to see what my numbers looked like. Sorry to be all freaked out ladies but this is my first cycle and my first BFP so now I'm over analizing everything. Thanks as always for your support and well wishes

Teresa - Please don't ever apologize for anything ... we are here to support each other and if that means asking question after question then that what we will do, ok? I am just praying for you! I am so very glad that you got in contact w/ your RE's nurse at least that could ease your mind because you have to try and relax. Put your feet up and relax or if it makes you feel better you can put your feet up and chat w/ us! Here is a big hug from me!

Angela and Helene thank you for being there for me. I don't know what I would do if I had never found this forum. Its such a crazy ride from start to finish. Always something to wonder or worry about. I do feel better so I am just going to try to relax and focus on something else. Maybe I'll just blink and Friday afternoon will be here. Love you ladies!

hopeforbabies - hey a positive Beta is a positive beany... I tell you it's going to double daily now and it will get bigger don't you worry about it lady. Way to go and congratulations. And it's a great no for being only 4 weeks. When I did my first I was at 5 weeks so hey that's great.

The kids are happy with one bean and happy to have a new sibling coming at the end of hte year

Teresa : ((hugs)) I hope everything goes well for you - I've been praying every day for you & I hope everything works out. Lupron is still going - no more bruising since my one incident! You'd think after so many shots I'd learn. I can't believe I can do it faster than my husband now - the other day I said "Come on dude, let's get it done!" I think I took him off guard. Gotta love him for all his support

Lauren- I have always done menopure with a 27 guage needle. To get rid of the burn mix it and then let it sit for a few minutes. If you r mixing several vials I would let it sir for about 5 min. ThAt should help
a bit.

Lauren - I noticed that they are sending smaller and smaller needles for SQ injection than they used to in the past few years. The 30 gauge needles that you received are supposed to minimize pain and bruising because it isn’t as big, but the big drawback is that the medication goes in slower. Some patients can’t use those needles and they need to switch back to the typical SQ needle size of 25 to 27 gauges. If you need to, you can switch to those sizes but if you stay w/ the 30 gauge needle, then ice before you inject the medication and slowly inject the medication because the faster you inject the more it will burn. But, no matter what, my sites did burn anyway.

As far as the cyst, that question would probably be best answered by your RE as I think it depends if it is functional or not (if it will be affected by the stimming meds.).

Angela: I called my RE regarding my pain & he said it's due to my endo. The shots triggers my endo therefore causing the pain. I have my 2nd U/S tomorrow & they are also drawing blood - so he said they will check to make sure I did not OHSS. Thank you for the advice

I'm at work so I will make this quick had some bad stomach pain so went in for an us. Re said that my ovaries are swollen and have some fluid but they are ok said it's normal and that they are producing estrogen which is also normal. A little worried that this isn't goin to work for me now. did any of you have this?

hopeforbabies and Angela - we are all here for each other. Sometimes it's me that's online and can help out other times it's someone else that is there just when we need them. We are all helping each other as soon as we can... this forum is surely the best I have seen also. So positive and non judgemental people... Lauren - you have to use ice BEFORE you do the shot dear. Are you doing that? About your cyst not sure but I am sure they are monitoring it... so try and not worry so it doesn't grow bigger
