Kajol: I’m sorry I haven’t had any experience with Lupron. I wasn’t on it at all. Is it normal for your cycle to do that? What does your RE say?? I know that when I stimmed my first cycle and stopped my period wouldn’t start, but that’s the only problem that I had. Wishing you all the best.

Franny: Congrats! You are PUPO!!! How nice that you got to get a picture of your little embie!!!!! Now, for that 2ww!! Don’t worry I’m here with you!! How many of us are PUPO now?? Take this time and relax!

Kushka: Congrats on your ET! You are PUPO also! Ghost told me a few weeks ago, not to fret because I had moved forward! AFM my stomach is feeling better, but I’m not having any other symptoms…since I took another HcG injection this past Sunday, it wouldn’t do any good to take a HPT this weekend because it won’t be accurate…my feelings are so hurt!!!!!!!! Oh well, I guess I have to wait until Tues for my beta!

Oh dear for sure everyone in those IVF treads would cry holding a baby or hearing that one friend is pg now... it's a killer for you and everyone here who suffers... I am sorry... just hang in there you will hold YOUR baby soon and won't have to cry anymore

hi everyone!
i am enjoying being PUPO! i am staring to get a little sick of this bedrest though because DH is at work until 5 tonight. it was a lot more fun yesterday when he was home and i had a personal butler haha
oh well it just means i get extra attention when he gets home. i have the rest of the week off so i'm trying to decide if i should go run errands tomorrow or just wait and take it easy again tomorrow. we'll see how i feel, because i dont want to do anything i will regret. i am thinking of going to acupuncture again tomorrow...i dont know yet. oh and btw...my beta will be on 4/19!!

helene OMG only one bean??? i am seriously in shock!! haha i thought for sure you would have twins at least!! but one beautiful bean is WONDERFUL!!!! that would be really cool if you didnt have to have a c-section this time! my SIL had an emergency c-section for her first baby, and then they made her have one for her 2nd baby. i know she was upset about never having a vaginal birth, but as long as that baby is healthy i dont think it matters!! i'm wishing you the happiest, healthy pregnancy ever!! i'm so happy for you! i hope you stick around on this board still!

latrell i'm so glad your stomach is feeling better...you scared me! i am so happy to be joining you in the 2ww! your beta is next tuesday?? do somthing fun this weekend, and it will be tuesday in no time!! i totally agree that you shouldnt POAS. why do they keep making you take HCG shots?? oh and they said i had fluid in my overies the day before my ER..i had a lot of pain, and it was really sore and bloated feeling. they said it was just from the meds and it was nothing. i was really surprised i was so swollen since i only had 1 egg! thanks for thinking of me!!

lauren menopur hurt me alot too. i didnt do anything about it...i just took it, and said a baby would be worth it, so i dont have any advice for you, but i just thought i'd let you know it was normal. it sounds like the other girls have some good advice though. dont worry...it wont be much longer now!! wait until the PIO shots!!! they are the worst for me no matter how much ice/heat/massaging is done! grrrr....it will all be worth it thought right??

Hi Ladies: just a quick update, since I just made it to work - I had blood work & an U/S this morning- I have 6 follicles on my left ovary & 5 on my right &they measure approx 10mm each ( or is it cmm )... my RE said that I'm on track & normally they want them to grow to about 18mm. I have another U/S & lab on Sunday 04/11 & they will be calling me this afternoon with my blood work results. Depending on the results I will also be starting Ganirelix tomorrow... I'm getting a little excited

The pain is still there, but I was told is due to the Estrogen feeding into my endo. I've continued to take the tylenol with codene & it helps a bit, but I have to remind myself that I just have to endure it for a couple of more days.

I have to get back to work & will do personals later!

hello everyone hope u all doing great , I m still waiting for Af to arrive and that part is so upseting I m losing my pma today seriously i have been waiting since october in octber i had my 3rd bfn and then becoz of insurance i cound not start my treatment till januarys and in jan my AF arrive 25 days late so we start my treatment in starting feb but end of the feb my cycle got cencelled and then i have to wait till march to arrive Af and now I m waiting over 45 days my AF didnt so up so its realy annoying , If nybody know any idea please let me know , i will do it

Hi Bei - I'm so sorry honey - has your RE mentioned starting Provera? With my protocol I took Provera for approx. 10 days & 5-7 days after I stopped taking it AF arrived.

Well you know your clinic can give you something to get it to start... I know what you mean by waiting I waited 60 days for mine last year... the shows up really when she wants too. So sorry dear. Hang in there girl it's going to be all worth it soon

Emmax – Sounds like your uterus is growing and pushing on your sciatic nerve. I had that when I had my BFP. So it does sound like good news. Also, you might want to move around a little and get some circulation. Lying on your back for days and days at a time can make your back and legs hurt.

Latrell – My bed rest would be going a lot better if I would stop working … lol. I swear w/ my job, I could work 24 hours a day. Also, I just love you ladies, so I can’t stay off this darn computer … lol. I told my DH, I don’t know what I would do w/out you guys because I am bored out of my mind and you guys make the time pass so quickly and keep me motivated!
*I NOTICED THAT YOU SAID YOU TOOK ANOTHER HCG SHOT ONSUNDAY. I DID ALSO, HAVE THE SYMPTOMS FROM THE HCG DISAPPEARED FOR YOU YET? MINE HASN’T, MY BREAST ARE STILL REALLY SORE, ETC.

Franny – my beta is 4/16 but I am sure I will POAS early. I do have to wait until after Sunday as I injected my last HCG shot last Sunday so maybe Tues or Wed. My RE said it takes about 1 week for the HCG to be eliminated out of your body and when I looked it up (after counting 5 half-life’s she is right).

Paty – 11 follicles are great! Please let us know about the blood work … I sure hope you can start tomorrow. I had a feeling it was the hormones affecting your endo but it is better safe than sorry!

Franca – I saw 3 survived … that is great! Is ET today (Thursday) or Friday. Sometimes I get confused of when some of the posts come through because it in such a different time zone than mine. If it was today, how did everything go?

Bei – I am so sorry. Will you RE prescribe you anything to jump start your AF?

*Sorry if I missed anyone else, I hope you ladies are all doing well!

AFM – Bed rest day number two … and I started my morning out by discussing a serious work matter w/ my manger who is currently out on maternity leave … what are we doing??? It is harder than I thought to just leave work alone!!!!! Also, I spoke to my RE’s nurse this morning and 2 made it to the freezer. I know more would have made it if he could have reached my left ovary. All 10 embryos that they retrieved this time were from my right ovary. But, then came the stress, she says “yeah now we need to collect the $600 fee for anesthesia for the ER and the $700 cryopreservation fee for the (2) eggs”. What the he**? Do I look like a bank? I just dropped well over $4,000 dollars two weeks ago and not to mention the other fees here and there for everything else! And, I just paid a $700 dollar storage fee for the 4 embryos that they already have from my 2008 cycle only two months ago! But, I was smart enough to call my insurance myself and ask about the anesthesia and they said that was a separate fee from my fertility coverage and it should be paid 100%. (After this cycle, I have maxed out my fertility coverage and it is all on us – no pressure, right)? Well, back to the fees, I asked her, I thought all of these fees were included in my deposit not to mention the small portion my insurance paid and of course not. I finally said; I need to call you back because I need to go and rest now. I will talk to you about this later. And, by later, I mean much, much later!! Why oh why does it have to be so very expensive for us to try and conceive? This is ridiculous! Oh well, back to the PMA … lol!
